while entering the wide genuine open air lobby you feel already time slowing down. The wooden traditional guesthouses and rooms are spread out in the well kept garden and you can walk easily till the white sand beach. A place to stay if one wants to step back in true Bali time

We were looking for a Balinese style with decor to unwind a few days in Bali. We were very happy with the Keraton. The room had the Balinese decor. The front porch was situated so you didn't look into anyone else porch into the gardens.

The breakfast I will give a 5 star rating. The had an egg bar along with a pancake/waffle bar. A lot of choices for your breakfast. If you want western food or Indonesian food, this was in the buffet.

We loved how we could walk out of our room and to the ocean with our own lounge chairs. The pool was ok also.

I wouldn't recommend their spa. I went and talked to the spa and looked around and decided to find another plan for my spa day. I would highly recommend The Calma Spa. Take a taxi to the spa. I had a hard time reserving a spa time and asked the front desk for help. The first front desk person was not helpful at all, finally another front desk person came along, Putu, and helped me out immensely. Putu called the spa, made my reservation and the next day called the Taxi for me and then called the spa to tell them I was on my way. Putu was very helpful!!

Would I stay here again? YES. Good value and the place was awesome.

We stayed at the Keraton from the 26th Dec 19 to the 3rd January 2020. Its an older bali style resort right on the beach. The rooms are spacious and the aircon worked well and they turn your bed down at night. The bed has net curtains also that are down for sleeping at night. We didn't really have any issues with mosquitoes either. Bathroom facilities were fine. It is only 2 stories high and is quiet and peaceful. The grounds are fabulous with lots of potted bonsai trees dating back many many years. The pool was lovely and the beach only a few more steps away. The food was good and reasonably priced. The alcohol was more expensive and happy hour was only for cocktails and those cocktails were those basic ones you get everywhere in Bali. The staff were fantastic, warm/friendly/helpful. Some have been there for many many years as well.
There is not as many shops/massage places/convenience stores close by like other areas of Bali but then that's the beauty of Jimbaran Bay - quieter and less people.
It was mainly filled with visitors from Europe - Russians/Germans etc. Not many Australians/New Zealanders but that was fine as well. Well worth a visit.

Comfortable beach front hotel in traditional Balinese style set in beautiful tranquil gardens. On arrival we were wowed with the impressive reception area, a huge palatial entrance with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The rooms and bathrooms although old and dated are absolutely fine and clean. There could be some improvements though, replace the plastic shower curtains with glass shower screens, towels and bed linen had seen better days, but room rate reflects that it's not a 5* establishment (although it easily could be with a little investment). Huge lagoon style swimming pool with sunken bar by the beach with plenty of sun loungers. In our opinion the bar area let this hotel down. Surrounding glass windows remained closed throughout stay and the area felt a little neglected. There was building work being carried out during our stay which was disappointing. The worst is over, but still occasional dust and some noise spoiled what could have been a great stay. Staff are excellent and this resort doesn't lack staff. They're everwhere. Menu was basic but food standard was good. We arrived just after a storm and the beach was littered with plastic which was shocking and not a great first impression. Within 2 days everything though was cleaned and the beach back to what we had expected. There's lots of places to eat along the sand, in our opinion walk south, there's a 5* restaurant just down from Keraton or further down some great clean beach restaurants. All in all generally a good stay and would recommend for a value for money hotel on the beach.

What an incredibly beautiful hotel. Typically Balinese in design and beautifully maintained. We booked a double room with balcony and it was huge. The housekeeping come in every morning to restock and clean everything. Each morning the garden staff are out maintaining the stunning gardens, the pool staff are there at breakfast cleaning that too. The breakfast is lovely, cereal, toast, fruit, pastries, salad, full English plus rice and noodles. Tea coffee and juice too. There are free to use sun loungers on the beach. It has a great bar, and a lovely restaurant. The staff are the friendliest and happiest we have ever met. An absolute delight staying there for 2 weeks. Top tip- you can book out late for an extra £5 per hour after 12pm which was great for us as we weren't leaving until 5pm.

The resort is just amaizing with very good connection to Kuta, to Seminyak and to Uluvatu. The staff is very kind, the food is good and on the beach you can find nice local restaurants with very good price. Highly recommend.

Beautiful setup and friendly service. The resort grounds are just beautiful and full of flowers and trees. There are amazing carvings everywhere. The view from the restaurant is awesome since the restaurant is directly on the beach. The pool is also right there and surrounded by more flowering trees.

The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are clean equipped with bathtub and shower, both.

The staff was friendly and service was nice.

The location is perfect for visiting attractions in south Bali. We visited Uluwatu and tanah lot along with GVK and some beaches while staying here. We didn't have time to swim in the pool or the beach at the hotel but it looked inviting.

We reached late at night on the day of checkin (10/11 pm) and were worried if we will be let in since some reviews mentioned nobody being at reception late at night and nobody picked up our calls when we tried to inform them of the late check in. But, when we reached, our checkin was smooth. The security person checked our name in the check in list and opened the main door, there was a person at reception who welcomed us and checked us in and another person carried our luggage to the room and explained how everything works.

Some things on the hotel grounds are old and there would be paint peeled off the wood or cracks in the footpath. Also, there were a couple of stains on the pillow/bedsheet but we didn't mind that since it was clearly clean.

Get the rate with breakfast included since otherwise it can get expensive quickly. The breakfast is plentiful and moderately tasty.

The Keraton Resort is a great hotel with some of the most outstanding landscaping I have seen in this price bracket. Rooms are spacious, staff unfailingly polite and friendly, top notch pool and right on the beach.

I would come again.

Lobby is large, so was the room.Lady at the reception desk was friendly.
Large complex with beautiful bonsai trees on the grounds. Pool was large though water wasn't quite crystal blue.
The beach is at the far end of the hotel. I couldn't say it was the cleanest., plastic and glass bottles. My wife complained about being hit by bamboo in the waves.
The room was large and spacious
Satellite TV was ok not receiving all the channels, but there were English channels. Romm had refrigerator, teapot, safe, hair dryer.
Bathroom had soaps, bath gel shampoo, conditioner, comb, sewing kit, and ear swabs.
Overall a great stay, though I'm not sure if the a/c would have gotten the room to my comfort temperature. Great place would stay there again.

This place is filled with Balinese character, the decor is fantastic and there is an impressive bonsai tree collection on the perfectly manicured grounds. The pool is beautiful too. There's direct access to the beach, where it's white sands and plenty of sun loungers were available when I was there. You can see daily local life pass by which was nice. It seems like the hotel is generally past its 'hey day' and it's a little bit dated but everything was working ok and clean. The room was spacious, with an ornate front door and I had a lovely terrace. You could almost hear the waves from the terrace. Subject to availability you can stay past check out for 100k IR per hour. The only thing I didn't love about the hotel was that receptionist kept reminding me that I owed them money for a late check out even when we had agreed at check in that I would pay on check out. Excellent choice if you want to avoid a trafficked route to the airport (~10 mins on a Sat at 4pm).
