My sister and I have just returned from a wonderful trip to India and spent 2 nights at this hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the staff could not do enough for us. Just after being shown to our room, I called down to ask for extra milk to make a coffee, within minutes, a lovely man came to the door with a large supply of milk powder sachets and when he saw me wearing no socks and shoes, he went away and returned a few moments later with a pair of slippers for me and my sister! The staff in the dining room were so helpful and friendly and very attentive, the food was delicious and always served with a smile On our last day we asked for a late check out and was advised this would be £20, the lovely lady on the desk sorted this out very quickly for us. We went out for a while and when we returned, the Manager (cannot find the card with his name on) advised us that we would not be charged for keeping the room on! We were very touched. Once we checked out the same gentleman allowed us to keep our Wi-Fi (this is usually disconnected once you check out) Every single person we encountered at this hotel went above and beyond to welcome us and make our stay pleasant. Our room was spotlessly clean and spacious and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Varanasi. The excellent staff make this hotel absolutely fabulous.

Lovely hotel in an excellent location. Rooms are spotless and cleaned daily, breakfast is plentiful, staff are very helpful specially shashi and ashutosh suggest me to go for mangala arti in early morning for Lord shiva worship. I feel very happy and also thanks to mgr sandesh and afzal.

To start with, at the portico/Gate their was no one scanning the Vehicle/Baggage (Serious Security lapse) nor was anyone at door to check passenger as per covid protocol. The cost of Buffet was Rs 1200 with a very limited menu (Only one Non-Vegetarian item) and a very limited Veg menu and their was no starter to offer as well. Thus making the whole experience distasteful. Further, I requested for a smoking room through email but again I was checked into a non smoking one and when I requested for change in room they blatantly replied that rooms are not available in spite of rooms available online on hotel website. The room in which I was checked in had no marking of sanitization as expected in time of covid(Other hotel follows it strictly everything from door handle to remote are sanitized and put into a sanitized bag/Seal of sanitization). Furthermore, In my room, the side of the bed had a rusted nail protruding out which is dangerous and not expected from a hotel of repute.It may cause serious injuries to guest in sleep. The list can go on e.g. minibar was empty, the refrigerator door facia was broken, linen was dirty etc. If a management takes reviews seriously (Which I Doubt) than their is a lot to be taken care of. This was my third hotel in Benaras in the past 1 month after Madin and Taj Ganga. Madin is a totally 'Indian' hotel, yet it was miles ahead of Radisson. Radisson is an international chain and here it is run by a bunch of Banarsi Babus and UP Bhaiyas in their typical dysfunctional and inefficient style. From booking an airport pickup on the phone to check in to breakfast to the Coffee Shop to wifi to the hotel facilities, everything is UP style. Only desis will understand what this means! When I called to book airport pickup, the guy on the Travel Desk could not communicate coherently. Fortunately the car was waiting for me at the airport. When I reached Reception, it was a chaotic zoo not knowing where was the line. Each person was bust handling multiple guests at the same time. There was no one to help carry the bags to the room and eventually I did it myself in an elevator that is not meant for more than 2 people. Yet, I saw 10 people crammed in there making it a serious safety hazard. Wifi is useless and as good as not there. The hotel caters to bus loads of Chinese and local Bhaiyas. Fortunately I did not seee the Bhaiyas at breakfast, but the Chinese were making a nice mess all around as they usually do wherever they go. Tables were not cleared and even though there were many empty tables, it took 10 minutes to get a clean table. I saw dirty plates being stacked near the liive dosa counter. There was no sign of any manager. Breakfast was an average affair after the grandeur of Madin and Taj. Yet, Radisson has the same tarriff as the other two! They also have the gall to charge Rs. 1100 for lunch buffet in a city that does not have a single proper road. The bathroom is the old style with a bath tub and plastic shower curtain. Yuck! The only reason I ended up here is because most of the other top hotels were booked for the dates due to Shivaratri. Stay away from here if you can or be ready to experience first hand what it means to be a UP Bhaiya and their culture.

This hote is one of the best hotels in varanasi. I like to stay here always. Hotel staff is very courteous and giving me non smoking rooms alway. Now a days there arehand hand sanitizer kept everywhere to avoid spreading of corona.

There are Serious faults in the AC of the rooms, Staff tells me it works only at 5-10 degrees which is freezing temperature. If keep the temperature at 24-25 degrees water is seen coming on the walls ceiling and floors just like how it will come inside a freezer of a fridge. Hot water was very mild and did not come at the right time. A/C is something the hotel staff definitely needs to look into as it cause serious health problems to guests

I would like to thank the entire team of East west,Bar and kabab factory. There are so many outstanding experiences that will be difficult to express in this note.
I would mentioned the name of the team who is always impressed us during having meal and drink in the bar Pravesh ji and the team Amrish prabhu so helping.

There are two aspects that make one's stay memorable at any place - food n housekeeping. And for Radisson Varanasi, both these services deserve extreme ratings. Extremely good food services, warm hospitality with personal touch experienced at East West coffee shop. Can't go without mentioning Reyaz and Chef Ankur for their warm n extremely cordial behavior towards guests, their attention to details and efforts in taking care of guests' taste is indeed applaudable. Had I been rating only for the restaurant, I would have gladly given them a 5. At the same time, the housekeeping needs a lot of improvement to match the level of Radisson. During our stay of two days, our phone was out of service for one complete day and no one bothered to look into the complaint. The staff needs proper training. Despite putting DND on our room door, the housekeeping entered our room in our absence to deliver the laundry, which is a clear violation of privacy of guests. No provision of towels at swimming pool, and their are many details which I wouldn't like to get into. Overall the housekeeping staff needs to get trained better. The poor experience with housekeeping is what makes me hold the overall rating at 3

We did not expect the kind of experience we had at this Radisson. We came to the hotel at 8:30 am with a pre-booking but were not assigned a room till 10:30 pm because the staff was confused and the hotel was overbooked. We saw people come in and yell at the staff because either their bathrooms were stinking, there was no hot water, the a/c wasn't working, no one was sent up for help despite repeated requests, and so on.
Really disappointed and I hope they up their game soon.
