We stayed here for 2 nights as the heritage hotel we had chosen was having maintenance work done. So quite a different experience. We chose to dine at the roof top restaurant the first evening to be plagued with flies and had to use the swimming pool washrooms so literally paddled to the facilities. Staff kindly provided incense sticks to help keep the flies at bay on request. The ground floor restaurant the next evening was a much better experience with a more comprehensive menu on offer. Any meal expenses could not be charged to the room , even the laundry invoice had to be paid in cash and there was no money exchange facility. It is a modern hotel with a view of the Taj in the distance ideal for a 2 night stay.

The Radisson Hotel Agra generally receives positive reviews, often noted for its convenient location near the Taj Mahal and its comfortable accommodations. Guests typically appreciate the well-maintained rooms, friendly service, and the variety of dining options. The amenities, such as the pool and spa, are also highlighted positively.

However, some reviews mention areas for improvement, such as occasional lapses in service quality and the need for updates to certain facilities. Overall, it is considered a solid choice for travelers looking for a comfortable stay in Agra with good access to major attractions.

Good spread at the breakfast buffet ranging from continental to Indian. Very fresh! Chefs Ravi and Sanju and Sachin and service staff at breakfast and at dinner with Jitendra and Rohan ….went out of their way to attend to us. All very polite and gracious and courteous including the reception and housekeeping staff. Reception was also very helpful in what do and where to go and suggestions with good restaurants. The beds and pillows are ultra comfy and their shower gel is lovely with a light fragrance. The bathrooms tho could do with a few towel rods…. There aren’t any! The hot water was at a good temperature and didn’t run out! The rooms are stocked with complimentary bottled water and more is easily provided. There is a hot water kettle and tea bags and coffee etc. It was good one night’s stay!

This is a beautiful, clean hotel with very friendly and kind staff and service. It is quite central in Agra and we were never more than 10-15 min from anything we wanted to do.
The rooms are nice and very clean but perhaps a bit dated. Nothing was wrong per se, but probably could use a facelift.
We had an amazing view of the Taj Mahal in the distance. It was so magical to wake up to!
Our stay included breakfast and dinner, which was served buffet style in the lobby restaurant. The spread was always incredible with live food station and live music at dinner. The food was very good. Not the absolute best but very good.
This was one of the only hotels left in this price range and it didn’t disappoint. If other hotels had availability, we probably would prefer to stay at a little more modern location next time but this is a good and reliable option!

Seems a bit of a sham which is a shame. The name sells with tourists. The lobby and buffet were impressive. The expensive "Taj View Rooms" (Rs 10,000+ per night) were a joke, with one getting a view of roof tops, dish antennas and accumulated garbage all around the hotel (see pic). The rooms themselves were dimly lit and any reading was impossible. On complaining at front desk. someone came up to the room and tersely informed that the dim lighting would remain like this only.

To mask the damp smell from the carpets in the corridors, electric dispensers gave off a synthetic fragrance 24 x 7.

The rooms were no big deal and the washroom was depressingly dingy and poorly equipped. Tiny bottles of shampoo, conditioner etc, no hand towel, and a single hook on the door (see pic). Where was one supposed to hang towels and clothes etc? No comb, a single shower cap, a single soap cube, no slippers or bath gown. No soft drinks - the refrigerator running but empty. No cookies or snacks, few sachets of coffee / tea. Is this a 5* category hotel? "Radisson" seems to be surprisingly miserly in such petty things. As I said, it was a sham, which is a shame. I am sure there would be better options around considering the tariff charged.

We booked 2 rooms well in advance with a request to allocate rooms next to each other.
Lobby ambience was good however front desk staff seems to be disinterested, no eye contact, no smile, no welcome, uniform buttons were open. Anurag checked us in and was least interested, a complete cold check-in. It was only one night stay but it was a birthday stay which they were aware but they didn’t even wish. Despite of requesting rooms next to each other we were given rooms far from each other. After waiting for a long time for check in no expression at all from the front desk.
On the other hand F&B team was really friendly and with great customer service skills.
Anjali from F&B was outstanding and a true asset to the hotel. She has great customer service skills. Housekeeping porters who delivered the toiletries to our room were also very friendly.
There was some issue with the DND light and it was not working. The engineer who came to look at it was so rude, he said these thing’s happens and he can’t do anything and left. I was just shocked with his attitude and people working in this industry with these kind of attitude.

Room size was good, rooms were clean, food was good, breakfast was good.
Let down by Front desk and maintenance. Front desk team lacks customer service skills.

I booked this hotel for a 2N stay at Agra. We did a late checkin at night (coming from Delhi) and wanted to use the room service for the dinner. There was a set all-day-dining menu from which we were asked to order. It had lot of options, but not what I loved so I asked for a specific food to see if this can be cooked (wanted a started in Gobi) but the restaurant said that they cannot take my request. I did choose Veg Biriyani from the menu as my main course and I was surprised to see lot of Gobi in it. I even asked for other choices, but the restaurant were very strict in saying that they cannot accomodate.
We wanted to have coffee at night and we were told that the restaurant serves coffee from vending machine and we can make coffee at our rooms itself. I then asked lemon tea for which I was told that they can bring lemon and I can make the tea at room itself. For some reasons, we avoided both the options.
The next problem that I had was with hot water. I agree its pretty hot and most people might not need hot water, but I wanted it badly. The water from the showers and taps were not hot. After repeated calls to the housekeeping, someone inspected and said me that I have turn on the taps for 20 minutes, such that I can get the hot water. I was not ready to waste water for 20 mins. Complaining again, a manager came and he said that he will change the presets in his system and he even suggested me to give a call before I take bath in the morning. This was very strange. From then on, I stopped calling them and got used to the warm water.

Now let me come to the good things.
The room itself was good, spacious for 3 people (we were 2) and had good beds and pillows. Out of all, it had the mesmerizing view of Taj Mahal from the windows. We loved the view and it would make you forget all the problems that the room had.
We tasted the breakfast once during the stay and I should say that it was a very good spread of south and north indian dishes.

Not sure if I would stay again here, but if you want the best view of Taj Mahal from your room, this is one of the go to places.

Pleasant stay ,exactly what you expect from a Radisson , located close to the Taj mahal , we booked a room with Taj view , imo worth the extra bucks, rooftop isa bonus , taj view, outdoor dinner from 7pm (smoking allowed ) good chef , we could order food which wasn't on the menu ( palak paneer in our case).
A few sheltered " glass cabins " with A/c if you are caught by a rain shower during dinner , pool a relief in hot season , though just 5 sunchairs and no shade/umbrellas
breakfast top if you are into the indian style ( masala chai, masala dosa , uttapam) Western style average.
Some minor issues with the key cards , on average 5 tries to get the room door open, one time both had to be reprogrammed
staff very attentive
especially Anil bellboy
if you need anything, e.g. (not overpriced) cigarettes , hassle free transport ( Agra - Jaipur with fatehpur sikri stopover in our case) or any local info he is the man .
