We stayed here as part of a package tour with Trip A Deal (Australia) - the hotel was booked as part of the 'standard' accommodation package. We were only here for one night and overall the stay was OK. Rooms were OK...clean and quite spacious; but a little 'tired'. When we tried to go to sleep there was a lot of noise from downstairs/outside that went on for a long time keeping us awake (sounded like building work). We called reception who promtly asked them to be quiet - we appreicated this. Breakfast buffet was very nice. We enjoyed that this hotel was close to a McDonald's and we got to try some Indian-style burgers which was fun.

Rooms were very good and spacious and just adequate lighting to have a great ambiance. Tea Maker with sachets of Tea and Coffee provided. The washroom had toiletries provided and hot water was served by central Geyser. Lifts available in the hotel and hence no issues for kids and elders.
Somehow the lunch items consumed by us on the day of arrival didn't suit any of us (travel group of 6 including 2 kids) and 5 of us had tough time in the next 2 days of staying there.
Couldn't enjoy thoroughly their Buffet Breakfast which was part of our booked package but their were sumptuous amount and variety which is worth mentioning.
I would give 4 out of 5 for the overall stay including food quality and quantity taken into consideration.

Reservation was made by India Karni Agency. The hotel is located in a rather disaster area where there is nothing to see. You can walk but there is nothing. We reached a shopping center a few meters away really horrible. Inside two or three shops, the rest looks like a bombed, destroyed, dirty building. The room rather small and smelly of mold/wet. There is definitely a humidity problem, ok it was hot and humid, but the clothes were wet in the morning and the toilet roll was completely soaked. Even at the front door of the hotel it rained on my head water that I assume came from the air conditioning. In the evening at the restaurant we did not eat badly and the breakfast was quite plentiful and with a wide choice. Friendly staff.

Booking a hotel like taj vilas, Agra comes with it’s backdrops. We were welcomed by the impudent hospitality of the receptionist Mr. Gopala, who refused us entry into the hotel at 11:20pm in the night. He argued that our booking for two rooms and four rooms allows only one in each bedroom. The point could have passed as a fair one if only the two bookings had a significant price difference. Despite having only a Rupees 100 price between them, we were ready to pay Rupees 500 for our booking. Nevertheless, seizing this opportunity as a perfect excuse to cash in the receptionist asked for Rupees 1000 and made us wait an hour. He argued thoroughly as he wanted to make an extra buck through our misery. Additionally, utterly humiliated my father, mother, and even my grandmother by denying them the room access. Furthermore the hotel is unpleasant in its aesthetic appeal and the rooms just don’t pass for the price listed. PLEASE AVOID!!!

Room size was good but smelt musky & mouldy. Although room appeared clean bedside tables were dusty. Lucky we only were staying 1 night as we were with a group & others also complained about the horrible smell. Western style design & decor. Food was ordinary & staff not at all friendly which was our 1st exeperince of this after 10 days in India. Wouldn't return as there was nothing about our stay that was nice.

Travelled with my brother and we asked for a Twin room. What they gave us was two mattresses on one bed board. I was absolutely furious when the front desk guy started teaching me what a twin bed is. I am a hotelier and know what a twin bed is and what they have provided is NOT a twin bed at all. They didn't even bother to move us to a proper twin room. Refused point blank saying "we have no rooms". Will never recommend this horrible place to anyone at all.

We stayed here for 2 days in a delux room. The room was spacious and tidy. AC had a bad smell and mould ( shown in they pic), because of which both me and my husband got severe cold. The attached bathroom was clean, but there was a problem with hot water. We got only warm water which was difficult during cold weather. The complementary buffet breakfast was not good. Not much options were available. They don't know to cook South Indian food. Even idli was terrible. The staff were cordial and room service was good and quick. Overall the stay was pleasant except for the AC, hot water and breakfast part.

The downer for this hotel is the smell in the rooms. Acidic. We had a very smelly room and when moved to a different room it proved to have just the same smell. Thankful to have just the one night stay. Otherwise the rooms are clean and tidy, good beds, helpful staff and quite adequate food in the restaurant. Just need to fix the smell.
