Hotel Taj Resorts is often celebrated for its clean and well-maintained rooms, although a few guests have noted them to be on the smaller side with occasional noise. The staff's prompt and professional service has garnered appreciation from many travelers, complementing the hotel's overall cleanliness and neat facilities. Its location near the Taj Mahal is a major draw, offering guests convenience and a serene environment.
The rooftop dining experience, complete with live music, adds to the hotel's cultural charm. While the array of amenities, including a swimming pool and art shop, pleases most guests, opinions on the hotel's value do vary, with some finding it affordable and others pointing out high costs for certain services and food.

Discreetly satisfactory stay, hotel located in a beautiful street and close enough to the Taj Mahal. On the top floor it has a terrace with a restaurant that is quite good but not the best, with live music and Taj Mahal view (when there is no fog). Discreet breakfast, Indian prevalence but also jam butter and fruit toast sandwiches, and cook for omelets. One day even pancakes. Better to request rooms on the upper floors, they also have rooms in the basement. Good cleaning. Staff available, some hot water issues - may take some time and attempts. The reception helped us. Under gift shop and marble, quality.

An old hotel. It is close to the Taj Mahal area. Better Deluxe rooms than running them. Cleanliness is not bad, it includes breakfast. They are attentive, offering you water and cleaning services in the room.
You have several services and spaces near the hotel.

We stayed in this comfortable, clean hotel only one night due to our trip plan, but it worth a longer stay. The staff in extremely friendly and very careful of the host (we had a very late check in and they wait for us keeping in touch by phone all over the afternoon), especially the manager mr. Yadav, skillful and kind to me: a truly indian gentleman! My adice is to enjoy the clean and fresh roof top pool, and have a have a delicious dinner - served by professional waiter and arranged by a top chief restaurant manager - on the overtop terrace, with the shape of Taj Mahal just right in front of you. And, trust me, you won't believe at what special, friedly price you'll can have everything! NB: the Taj Mahal site is about 5 minutes walking from the hotel; better tha this....

We spent a night there. The room was disappointingly small and located in the basement with no natural light. They only provided one liter of complimentary water; any additional water had to be purchased. The breakfast was dismal; the plain paratha was dry and difficult to chew, and the aloo sabzi was overly seasoned with jeera powder, making it bitter. The idli was powdery and challenging to swallow. The fruits and canned juice were spoiled, and the tea had an oily taste with a greenish hue. Overall, it was a dreadful experience with terrible food and unwelcoming reception. Apart from its location, there's nothing commendable about this place. I wouldn't consider returning.

Because we were leaving early in the morning, they made us a packed breakfast to take with us.
The location is not so good in terms of access to the city, but there is a shop right in front of the hotel, so we had no trouble buying juice and other things.
For some reason, Uber cannot use Hotel Taj Resort as a pick-up point. This may be because it is a road leading to the Taj Mahal, which regular cars cannot enter. After leaving the hotel, we walked left for about 5 minutes to reach the pick-up point.
Uber could not be used to leave Hotel Taj Resort at around 5am. This may be because there are not many drivers in the area. They called a taxi to Agra Fort Station for 500 rupees.
It is better to take measures to avoid mosquitoes before going to the rooftop terrace restaurant. Mosquito coils are lit in the restaurant, but mosquitoes still appear.

Our three day stay at the hotel in Nov. 2023 was great! The cozy room was tastefully decorated, clean and well-equipped. The breakfast buffet was rich in Indian breakfast options, but there was also a continental breakfast available (we would have liked a little more fresh fruit). In the evening, delicious Mughal cuisine was served in the rooftop restaurant, accompanied by subtle live music. The roof pool is beautiful and decorated with plants, unfortunately we didn't manage to swim there. In the basement there is a shop for marble inlays including a demonstration of the craftsmanship as well as a few other shops. But what we remember most was the super friendly and helpful hotel staff at the reception. We had problems booking our bus tickets for the onward journey, which was then completely taken over by the hotel for a small fee, including the replacement booking when our tickets were spontaneously canceled by the agency. Thank you very much again at this point!

My wife and I had an exceptional stay at Taj Resorts Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with incredible hospitality. The hotel arranged a very pleasant and reasonably priced taxi service for us to and from Delhi, making our journey hassle-free. Upon check-in, we were delighted to find that our room had been upgraded, and any requests we had were promptly addressed.
The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, and we never once felt like the staff was trying to sell us anything. A special mention goes to Mr. Gogi, who not only gave us a great local lay of the land but also took the time to teach me some Hindi, which was a wonderful touch. The General Manager, Mr. OP Yadav, was very accommodating with our bookings and ensured everything was handled in a timely manner. Shikha at the front desk was especially friendly and accommodating, particularly to my wife, making us feel right at home.
Even when we were late for breakfast and late checking out (completely our fault!), the staff made sure we were well taken care of without any issue. The attentiveness, lovely staff, and the hotel's close proximity to the Taj Mahal make this place a fantastic choice. I highly recommend Taj Resorts Hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Taj resorts is a good hotel in a very convenient location near the Taj Mahal. It is an easy walk to sightseeing, cafes and restaurants. The street is blocked off from most traffic so you can walk unhindered by horns and tuk tuks. Breakfast was good - plentiful and they make good omelettes. Staff very friendly and accommodating Recommend.

Great experience at this hotel. Hospitality was great and everyone was eager to help, especially the front desk. The location is the best part as it is only a 10-15 minute walk from the Taj Mahal east gate, and the walk feels safe and pleasant overall.
The room was modern, with a western style washroom and shower. Bed is a bit stiff but comfortable. Overall room is very clean.
The breakfast is definitely worth it as it has many south-asian and continental food options. My highlights were the sambar vada, puri bhaji and the live omelette stand.
The restaurant at on the roof is alright, and it's main benefit is convenience and the ambiance. The menu has a wide variety of items, we tried the hot and sour soup, the corn soup, tandoori chicken and the Hyderabadi mutton biryani. The soups and chicken were good but the biryani was a bit greasy and the mutton felt a bit undercooked.
The hotel also has a marble gift store at the bottom which was cool to look at.

First and foremost OP Yadav & staff were wonderful. When we arrived in Agra my daughter was extremely ill (not due to Delhi belly). The general manager stayed late and escorted us personally in their private taxi to the local hospital where he helped us navigate the whole process. He really went above and beyond and we are so very grateful! Another member of staff also assisted us with getting tickets to the Taj Mahal for a very small fee which was great considering the circumstances and I didn't have time to do it myself. Also, all the staff seemed generally concerned about making sure my daughter was doing better and they even messaged days later to check on her health. The hotel is located just a 10-15 minute walk to the Taj and if you buy tickets with them you get a complimentary bottle of water, free shoe covers and a ride back via electric moto (the only vehicles allowed to drive near the Taj). The room itself was pretty standard and came with a couple bottles of free water. The hotel also has a rooftop terrace where you can see the Taj Mahal as well. Seeing as my daughter was so sick and we were only there 1 night we didn't really get to enjoy anything, but overall I think this hotel is good for the price range. Once again the staff is what really made this place exceptional.
