Hospitality means Trident.. I mean it.
We were there for 2 nights and were upgraded for the third night to Udai vilas Oberoi, but Trident in itself was super. Be it reception, Checkin, Breakfast, Dinner, restaurant, ambience, gardens, activities, kids area or room service, everything was one of the best in the country. Specially if you have kids with you, the team at trident tries to make every effort possible to please you.
Special mention to Jyoti, the Team leader, Shubham at front desk, Vikas at the restaurant and thanks for the decorations in the room for our anniversary.
Overall we got memories for life..

One could not wish for a hotel with better service, the rooms are of international quality, everything works.
The staff go out of their way to ensure that one’s stay is enjoyable.The grounds are very pretty and well cared for.The food in the restaurant is excellent but a little pricey, we avoided alcohol in the bar because it is seriously overpriced. The atmosphere is somewhat rarified the hotel being in a gated area with security much in evidence. Udaipur is a clean well run town whose traffic is quite sensible compared with other cities, and does not feel in any way challenging, one might think that some guests would rather be in Europe as they spend much of their time behind security cordons. That said the environment of the hotel is delightful. A short walk from the hotel at the lakeside is a magnificent spot with a wonderful view of the Old Town, City Palace, Lake Palace, within the security.

Its been almost 15 years since we are visiting this lovely property. However, Trident Udaipur never fails to impress.
The entire property and the rooms have been constructed, maintained superbly and regularly renovated with perfection as per the needs of every traveller. The hotel lobby is a perfect place to just laze around, enjoy the tranquility and ‘do nothing’.
The pool area and the huge lawns are also perfectly manicured. The pool was closed due to the COVID guidelines, but it did not make much of a difference as sitting at the pool side was equally pleasurable. Shravan at the Poolside made sure that the pool side recliners and shades were keep are spotlessly clean. He also was on his toes and keen to serve the guests with refreshing mojitos and cool lemonades. The gardening staff is always on its toes always doing something constructive to beautify the garden even more. You can spend hours and hours listening to soft music relaxing on one of the hammocks among the huge trees in the lawns. Lake Pichola is just at a walking distance and its beauty just mesmerizes us. A must do for every tourist is to take the hotel’s boat ride on the lake Pichola and witness the beautiful sunset.
The restaurant and its mouthwatering cuisines just makes you crave for more. The staff does not leave a stone unturned to pamper your tastebuds and fulfill all your dietary wishes. Special thanks to the Captains Lokesh and Ayush for their care and to Jeevan for the lovely service.
A huge shout and special thank you for the GM Mr. Gaurav Kumra and his first officer Hanumant Singh at the front office for their warm welcome and all their special care for each and every minute detail. It is leaders like these who inspire the team members to go out of the way and help the guests in all ways possible. We stayed at trident on 26nov . Room num 219 . During covid situation nobody would venture a stay out but trident is one property you can bang on. All safety measures are taken . Places are sanitised often and each and every staff is with gloves masks . The check in process is with a self declaration form which is very well explained by Akanksha. Very dynamic and thorough clarity in explaining about the property.
The property welcomes all with lovely immunity drink.
Every step they go a extra mile to satisfy the clients which is the signature of Oberoi. We had an amazing tea at the coffee joint the guy there was very courteous. After a long journey tea at 4pm the body required.
Being our anniversary we had our dinner at the restaurant amazing service by Harshad Dhiraj .... they wen an extra mile making it special . It was a great experience which we least expected during covid days .
Morning another great experience at the breakfast. The staffs were very polite in explaining the dishes . The sambar was made authentic typical Udupi sambar and one must try it at the Oberoi. Chef
Chinmaya made our special dinner and helped us with breakfast all together an amazing experience.
Also your staffs to be praised are paulrush Arpit Chang Ankit and the executive chef who made our morning special with great sambar.
The house keep another amazing team . We well trained for covid times . They take extra care in room cleaning and the surroundings the guys who deserve a appreciation are Hari Deepak Renupriya and Nikhil. They decorated our room well for anniversary which was a surprise.
By chance if we had left anyone’s name kindly forgive us . We had a great moment would definitely make another trip very soon

Our next stop found us in Udaipur and the trident hotel. Our travel agent Aberdrombie and Kent had done all the bookings as we requested, however, the trident was a cheaper hotel than we had been staying in. Having said that all members of staff could not be more helpful, friendly and professional. In many ways we where at fault in staying here, as the hotel is more aligned to a business traveller, with all that entails. All rooms are relatively small and are all the same, with the exception of two corner suites. Fortunate they were unoccupied and with the great assistance of duty manager Mr Mayank Sood, we quickly moved into a a two room, two bathroom suite, which was perfect we had a great view over the hotel grounds to the lake. The dining experience was a Buffett strop with a limited aka carte menu , which is not to our taste. Again the staff rallied to our assistance and arranged for us to dine in their sister hotel, which share the property, which is a much grander and expensive luxury hotel. Transport was arranged for us to go back and forth between these two properties. Two other members of staff we would like to thank are Sharwan, the pool attendant who was always very helpful and Sharwan, who I think was the food manager, who at all times was very helpful. So what might have been a low point of our trip, due to no fault what so ever of the staff at the trident actually was made so , so enjoyable.

Went after almost 6 months and it felt really safe to be during COVID situation. The hotel was upto the mark but more than the 5 star standard the people working there be it at the lobby or in the restaurant during breakfast, lunch and dinner was remarkable. They served food as if you are being feed by your mother and the entire staff was on their toes to go out of their way to make things happen for you. Needless to say the food was delicious and could sense the hygienic behind cooking of freshly made meals. I would like to thank Rewa Singh for making sure every minute of our stay was pleasant. Muskan for arranging the cake on my Bday and Sharanya for easy check-in and check out. At the restaurant was Aayushi and his entire team for their unconditional service which made us feel like home. Giriraj at house keeping ensured that the rooms were upto the mark and also gave us an upgrade which was really commendable.

Whilst the Trident chain offers a similar package this hotel offers a little more than their standard fare. The hotel has extensive grounds with a large number of peacocks, lots of different birds, Palm squirrels and we even saw 2 mongeese.
The place is very clean, the rooms are quiet, and the staff are very pleasant.
Rooms numbered 200 & 300 are on the ground floor whilst those numbered 100 are down stairs (don’t ask).
FOOD: There is plenty of choice and both the toast/ egg station is ‘hidden’ in the bottom left hand corner. The place is very clean, the rooms are quiet, and the staff are very pleasant.
Rooms numbered 200 & 300 are on the ground floor whilst those numbered 100 are down stairs (don’t ask).
FOOD: There is plenty of choice and both the toast/ egg station is ‘hidden’ in the bottom left hand corner. We visited Trident Udaipur in September 2020. At first we were quite skeptical about the safety and precautions during the covid times but it was a great choice definitely. We enjoyed our experience here for two days. Its really a wonderful stay for two days. The staff is so courteous and friendly. Since the time we entered the place they have made sure that at every pace they are keeping up with proper hygiene and higher standards much more than expectations. The property is really beautiful and we got a suite upgrade with a wonderful view. They make sure that all your requests are met with proper satisfaction. The Dining experience during breakfast and dinner was also very much hygienic with proper maintenance of social distancing. Would like to mention few names of the people who were very much courteous Saurabh , Ashok, Jeevan , Vishal, Arpit , Hanumant - very kind and hospitable.
All the female and staff at reception are awesome. Thanks a lot Trident team. Richa and Isha took photos for us and made us walk around the whole property. They were very kuch interactive , helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed a two-night stay at the Trident, a modern luxury hotel...while not as luxurious and nearly as expensive as the world renowned Udaivilas (within the same complex) or Lake Palace hotels in the city, it qualifies as a solid 5 star property with comfortable rooms, upscale amenities and efficient service.
The sprawling property is located close to Lake Pichola with pool view and garden view rooms and feels cozy and relaxed. We also enjoyed happy hour in the bar every evening. The breakfast buffet has an adequate spread, though service can be slow during busy times, as the hotel is popular with tour groups. The hotel is serviced by experienced staff as well as enthusiastic young trainees from Oberoi’s in-house hotel management program.
Overall, the Trident is a recommended option for a comfortable stay in Udaipur.

This hotel stay was a wonderful experience ofIndian hospitality. From initial check in, through means, bedroom, use of laundry facilities, swimming pool and leisure areas at each element of our stay we have been spoiled. In particular, I would like to share the chef’s assistance to ensure my gluten free dietary needs were met. The staff also offered tasting samples of regional and Indian foods.

They have a buffet for lunch @1600 + taxes round about per person and dinner @1800 + taxes round about. If you are vegetarian you can try their shakahari thali @1700 + taxes round about sufficient for 2 person. Non vegetarian thali rates I do not remember. If you have time you can go to chandini in the oberoi Udaivillas for dinner it is a most romantic place in udaipur. You have candles light dinner in open with live singing Rajasthani songs. You can also have a view of city Palace and lake place in night.

Yes they have this ferry service common for Oberoi Uday Vilas and Trident. You can drop an email to the hotel directly for the timing.
The hotel reception can arrange a golf cart to the nearest point of ferry and pick you in return from lake pichola. Also, the distance is not much if you feel like taking a stroll and admire thier beautiful landscape.
It serves ala carte & buffet. I doubt they have thali system. About the price please confirm with hotel as I was there on a package.
