Right from our arrival into the Palace we were treated royally every day. The two restaurants one fine dining Indian and the other Italian/ Asian / Mediterranean serve food that each one of them is so tasty 😋. Can't find a single complaint on any of the food that we ate.
Again the breakfast is great with the dosa live counter the best , don't miss to eat Mysore Masala dosa done by chef Srinu.
Arun Reddy the Executive chef the man behind the success of the food is a very humble chef and have a great team of chefs around him to satisfy the palletes of the guests. Special thanks to chef Pradeep & to Santosh / Nilesh / Archana / Ajay some of the gems at the restaurants.
Sunaina the duty manager at the front desk is another asset to Taj who takes care of the interests of guests always. Special thanks to Subham/ Harsh / Jhanvi / Evi / Aabid / Rahul at the front desk who adds value and strength to the front office.
Madhvi the spa Manager is a multi task person not only taking care of the spa but she is a loyal person of Taj and you can see her in every part taking care of guests be it at restaurants or at room service . Special thanks to Meena / Datatri at the spa who are really good and we enjoyed their spa service during our stay.
Housekeeping Shrishal / Mounika take care of the guests everyday ensuring the rooms not only kept clean but also decorative . Special thanks to them
I will not do justice if I don't thank the security / golf drivers and the guide who took us a tour around the palace and explaining the history behind the palace that was memorable . The 108 seater dining table we understand it is the biggest in the world and we had an opportunity to see it during the Palace tour.
Overall it was a memorable experience and we would like to visit this place atleast couple of times in a year ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

The 'Tajness' started right at the entrance, we were taken to the palace in a horse cart & my daughters were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed like a princess with a crown.
On our request, the duty manager showed us 2 rooms and allowed us to pick the one we liked.
Post check-in, we received a birthday cake for my daughter along with strawberry shake - my daughter's request well accommodated by the duty manager.
The palace tour started at 5 pm which was followed by a serving of wine & watermelon juice.
By the time we reached back to our room, the housekeeping arranged 'itra bath' for us, I & my wife thoroughly loved the experience.
At 6 pm, a qawali session was arranged in the open accompanied with a refreshing drink.
The swimming pool closes at 7 pm so make sure you take a dip before that. Palace's swimming pool is one of its kind. It is made to look like a small lake in the middle of a jungle.
For dinner, we loved the ambience of Gol Bunglow and wanted to dine there but we learnt that its open only for 6 course meal which costs 10k + taxes per person. I & my wife are light eaters so we requested for a deviation to let us order from the menu, staff promptly agreed.
During dinner, we didn't like the Veg.Subz Biryani much and informed our waiter when he asked for it. Upon receiving our feedback, he promptly informed the chef who came to meet us and explained the preparation process. He insisted on replacing the biryani with a new one but since we were already full, we politely declined it. But what surprised me was the final bill, the biryani was not listed in the bill just because I didn't like it much. The chef didn't stop there! Next day, he sent a well cooked biriyani to our room at lunch time...experienced true 'Tajness'
Next morning, we went for a peacock feeding session at 6 am. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
During the breakfast, a cake was arranged for my daughter since we were celebrating her birthday. This was accompanied by a gentleman who played the flute while my daughter was cutting the cake, the tune was truly mesmerizing.
There is a hidden gem at Taj Falaknuma named Mr.K.V Rao. If you ever stay at this palace, do find him! He knows all the picturesque spots in the palace and clicks amazing pictures. He took us to all major spots in the palace and took breath taking photographs for us. A memory that my family will carry for a lifetime.
On the day of check-out, staff arranged a baking session for my daughters in their inhouse bakery and the cup caked that they baked were given to us during check out.

The carefully renovated edifice, the rooms, the courtyard on a 2000 feet high hill wrapped with green foliage and lawns elevate the guest physically and psychologically. Peacocks move around the gardens and pathways. Feeding peacocks in early morning is a nice experience.
The signature rituals of a welcome drive on a horse driven carriage with liveried attendants add to the Royal feel. Escorted by a flag bearer while climbing up the stairs with rose petals showered from the top make the Palace entry a dramatic event. The welcome lobby has marble statues, ceilings and walls with wonderful marble-dust paintings, The sitting room of Nizam is attractive with period furniture, clocks and oil paintings. The study room too has interesting exhibits of furniture and paintings. The 5500- book Library, the Dining Hall with a 108 feet long Table with chairs around, huge cut glass Chandeliers with infinity effect mirrors, French designs and paintings on the ceiling, thick carpets on the marble floor, wooden cabinets and oil paintings on sidewalls remind the visitors of the level of grandeur of the Nizam era. The exceptionally large billiard Table, ivory inlaid cue sticks, the leather panelled walls smack of opulence and luxury. One can touch and feel the itrs or attars with a large variety of fragrance on request!
The courtyard is very well kept and can be a space to stroll or rest under a mango tree.
The options for food and beverages are plenty. Two restaurants serve different genres of food.

The commitment to excellent service was evident through every interaction. Santosh, Ajay, and Rakesh each contributed to our comfort with their attentive and personalized service. Saurav, the restaurant manager at Gol Bungalow, ensured our dining experiences were memorable, while Nasir at Celeste was exceptionally attentive, catering meticulously to dietary needs with his warm smile. Every day our breakfast felt special with the care and welcoming presence of Nasir with his contagious smile and hospitality.
Shaibaaz was a pillar of support, always available to assist, notably helping with my mother’s wheelchair at scenic spots. The historian Mr. Arastu, and Mr. Ismail enriched our stay with their deep knowledge and stories, making the palace tour an enlightening journey. KV Rao clicked some great pictures for us!
The spa treatments by Vinika and Meena were a sanctuary of relaxation, and Sandeep’s yoga sessions added a refreshing start to our mornings. The housekeeping team, including Karishma, Abhishek, Shubham, and Priyanka (who kindly assisted my wife with saree draping), upheld the highest standards of cleanliness and care.
A special mention to Nagaraj, whose horse cart rides added a touch of historic charm to our visit. The entire staff at Taj Falaknuma went above and beyond, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect. I for sure might have forgotten some other staff members names who took great care of us.
Thank you for a truly majestic stay. We left with cherished memories and look forward to returning to your beautiful palace.
Warm regards,
Seetharam Reddy
