We are a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 teenagers. We were recommended the resort as we wanted to go diving. We stayed for 9 nights in a honeymoon Bure and 2 ocean view bures. The honeymoon bure was great as it was big and had a plunge pool, perfect for us all to hang out in. The food was amazing, I'm vegetarian and usually have to have the 1 pasta dish on a resort menu, every night. However every night we stayed, there was a vegetarian dish on the daily specials menu, which were so delicious! Dishes included chargrilled vegetable and tofu stack, deconstructed vegetarian lasagne and the most divine risotto! The breakfast buffet was great too, with an egg station including perfect omelettes.
The diving was fantastic, separate review done.
The staff at the resort were lovely; friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well maintained.
It's not your typical white sand beaches, but we swam every day to the side of the resort from a little jetty, where the sea was calm and quite deep.
We had a great holiday, and will definitely come back!

This is a very quiet out of any business area. Not great for families with kids, but for couples who want to unwind and relax it is perfect. The Allinclusive breakfast buffet was real good. Dinners were also very good( we did not Allinclusive on these meals). Most workers were very friendly, other than the man who took us to room on check in. He barely tried to talk to us and didn't show us anything. We drove into town approx 10 to 15 min away. Great market there and neat hanging with the locals. We stayed 3 nights and that was plenty since there is not much to do there.

Biggest down fall was the food. Everywhere you go food is the major part of any holiday. But shocked to what we’d expect from what we had read in the reviews. We ordered chicken satay and believe me not worth a single cent. $18 and you get Two tiny strips of chicken on a skewer and a dash of peanut sauce just covering one satay with some veg and dry and hard rice. Very disappointing. Then lunch main I had $30 chicken fried rice which lack in basic seasoning and the mini sliders were just disappointing $33 Dry and over cooked fish and chicken straps with a pile of bbq sauce. $16 Dessert for lunch was also disappointing. We ordered banana split and were served with two bananas which wasn’t split nor it was sautéed with butter and honey or sugar. Vanilla ice cream rock solid. Ice cream are per scooped and kept for service which was freezer burnt. Totally disappointing. Breakfast was ok compared to lunch and dinner menu. Dinner we had taste of Asian and fried rice same as lunch full of whole black pepper not even crushed. Dessert we decided to have mango sorbet with meringue kisses. Meringues stack together with buttercream and one scoop of mango sorbet which was again hard and freezer burnt. Served with leftover fruits and one frozen strawberry and one frozen blackberry and a blob of sauce. We asked to waitress to ask the chef if the ice cream was freezer burnt and to our surprise the chef reply was that yes she has scoops the ice cream and sorbets in advance. Like you have around 20 to 30 guest in house how hard is it to scoop ice cream and sorbet ala minute. Menu needs to be really looked into by the management and costing done to what guest are getting. It’s a total ripe off as that’s the only restaurant available near wananavu. We had traveled to volivoli for lunch the next day and was very happy with the meals and service provided. Worth every penny. Dinner we drove to Golden point resort even though it was a 26 km drive from wananavu it was worth it. Chefs really need to step there game up and give the guest the best.

We had planned to say in April and May and had put down a deposit. I had emailed many times like the folks below asking for a refund and Beto also told us that he would check with the billing department and then no response after that. Also in the booking process the communication was awful and it took forever to get us the price for the right amount of rooms with diving and food and it felt like we were pulling teeth to get the info instead of helpful responses and making us feel like they wanted us to stay there.. Now I am out $1500 deposit and no response from the resort. I am willing to update this review if they get back to me and provide my deposit.

This place appears to have absconded with my $2,500FD, along with others' (see reservations.com). Recently, they contacted me, thanked me for being patient with refund (10 months after I asked for it!), and then asked for my banking info to send me my refund! Needless to say, I did not send it. I said they could issue me a refund to the credit card...Not seen it yet. BE VERY CAREFUL.

Still waiting for our promised refund from March along with others!!! No way to run a business not replying to anyone. We did the transaction while you were still open, so no excuse. Also spoke to a staff member at the time to make sure you had received the cancellation, which you had. Just had to go to accounts, yeah right!!

Overpriced. Bedroom sheets were wet. Shower not working. And when working the water so so salty and felt like leather on the skin. Room was very basic and the amenities of v poor quality. Thank goodness we brought our own. Breakfast was served almost cold.
Management- owner very rude and insulting and would not listen to our concerns. We checked out early and cost not refunded.

A lovely location with such nice scenes.surrounded by nature I.e trees and water .beautiful ocean.
Rooms are ok but it's dark and gloomy .Not appealing at all.Staffs are smiling and friendly but lack service like we had to ask for stuffs around the resort whilst a day trip to volivoli we were taken around the resort and shown what all services are available there. That counts an excellent service
For food at wananavu not so good to match its prices.breakfast same fruits and same menu with lack of varities.i guess they can do much better.Id say volivoli has better choices and delicious meals .
Location of wananavu superb.very beautiful place but few places they can offer better service.

It all depends on your walking ability, cardio and stability, the resort is quite hilly.

Depends on how mobile you are. It’s a uphill walk to reception and restaurants. I am 60 and overweight, not a big deal, good exercise. If you use a cane, walker or wheel chair, heart condition - forget it

We stayed in one for about 5 days, it did have air conditioning was plenty Rumi and a nice size bathroom. We found the bed plenty comfortable and the view is quite amazing, we found stabbed funny helpful and enjoyed our stay. It is for those who like to enjoy the outdoors as there is no TV Oar radio but if you're there for a good relaxing stay it's a nice place to visit
