Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place was not what I expected very run down no aircon in the lounge and wifi is very slow they tried to charge more for wifi I wasn’t having it a lot of rust everywhere and definitely not worth more then 450 a day If your paying $1000 a day you would want everything to 10/10 very disappointing to say this. I stayed from 6/4/24 to 14/4/24

This is a fantastic villa for family or a group of friends. The staff are fantastic and take great care of their guests. The pool and views are to die for. You can relax and swim the day away. Can not recommend this place highly enough. Value for groups

Road to the villa is terrible! The frypan in the kitchen needs replacement, perhaps a note on booking.com stating no dishwasher and No airconditioning near kitchen / living area! Wall cracks and ants crawling through it! Most of the lights not working properly, aircons in the rooms are too old and needs servicing! Kitchen is very disorganised!

I have never heard of this place until we came for a work trip this week, absolutely amazing views of the misty mountain & ocean. I was so fortunate to have had the chance to experience the tranquility of nature at its best. Great amenities all around and very helpful staff. Highly recommend for a family or friends get together venue. Worth a one week work trip waking up to misty mountain and the sun rise outside your room!

It’s a beautiful resort and very private. There was a confusion around the number of beds per room but we managed to sort it out. As a tip, especially for larger groups intending to stay at the villas, ask the resort manager to explain the number of beds per room especially if three people are sharing per room. Do an stocktake on the number of towels per room as well so that there is no confusion between you and the resort on the number of towels allocated to each villa. It’s $40.00 FJD to replace a missing towel. The villa itself has a fully equipped kitchen with pots, plan, cooking appliances and cutleries. Even a rice cooker! Because the resort is a bit isolated, I really recommend having/renting a car for those food supply runs. The view is very beautiful and I really recommend renting villa 3 because you get to see the sunrise beaming out of the mountain. Let me know if you have any questions. Hope my review was helpful.

The Villas are located on Hill giving an awesome view of the whole of Nadi and an Sunset view too. It's near the Garden of the sleeping Giants and the mud pools. One has options to shop Lutoka or Nadi. The employees are very welcoming. However I found the pool very unfriendly to the Kids and those of us who are not accomplished swimmers. Probably the management would consider custome making a platform to raise the floor to accommodate all users. We still used the pool with floaters. Madam Vaal the manager was readily available and made our stay very comfortable.

Filthy, dirty, unmaintained, very basic and nothing worked. Villa manager was extremely rude. No safe, so security, villa manager turned up without notice whenever she felt like, very rude villa manager, out of touch with guests. nothing worked in this place.

We stayed at Sapphire Bay villas for 2 weeks. 2 families totaling 9 people. Plenty of space over 2 master bedrooms and 2 additional bedrooms. Very large living room with open kitchen with gorgeous views of the bay over an infinity pool. Villa was clean but could do with some TLC (broken tiles, falling skirting boards, very basic and old kitchen utilities, no dishwasher). 5 minute hike to local rocky beach and 3 minute drive to small harbour and local restaurant and small shop at First Landing, Vuda Point. Almost equidistant between Nadi and Lautoka. 40 minutes by car to Denerau to catch boats to the many islands of Mamanuca or Yawasawa. Staff and service was exceptional. We were provided with cell phone and the response time unbelievable. As and example, on a Sunday morning at 6:00 AM, getting up early to catch an 8 AM boat, the gas ran out resulting in cold showers. We called and the gas was changed within ten minutes. Staff is very friendly, helpful and accomodating, which truly made all the difference, since this was our first time to Fiji.

The best view of any place I've stayed at anywhere - our villa had uninterrupted views for over 180 degrees, with nothing but vegetation to see - totally private. The pool is pristine, deep, big and gorgeous - we spent days perfecting our dive bombs. Beds are super comfy, villa is super clean and well stocked. Huge gas stove top, plus bbq, fridge and blender on request for mixing cocktails. The dining / lounge is massive and the interiors contemporary and lovely. Mrs Va the manager is attentive, friendly and very switched on. We went out one day to find she had come by and given our villa a clean because she and her staff had some spare time! Thank you so much sapphire villas, you are stunning xx

Grandma and Grandpa from Canada spent a week on holiday with our family of six from Australia.... (mom and dad and four grandkids age 13,11,8 and 7) We loved this villa experience ..the fantastic private infinity pool with amazing views from our huge deck, the awesome kitchen and sleeping quarters and lovely staff to take care of all our requests... We knew were in a special place with the hot pink sunrises in the mornings and vibrant orange sunsets in the evenings...we have some award winning photos!. The villa is a bit isolated but the privacy is worth it..and all you have to do is call and you have a driver to take you wherever you need to go.. After a few days we found our favourite driver (Duna) and our favourite restaurant, ( "Boatshed") near the First Landing Resort.. After touring around the area and seeing the other accommodations we realized that we were very lucky to have the opportunity to stay at Sapphire Bay Villas .
