Today, you too can discover and enjoy this intimate, authentic Fijian resort, ideally located only 25 minutes away from Nadi and 35 minutes from Denarau Island, for your Fiji holiday. The resort has easy access to the nearby Mamanuca Islands, by boat from the resort’s new jetty or adjacent Vuda Yacht Marina daily. The resort is nestled amidst magnificent tropical gardens, majestic palms and massive rain trees, just 15 minutes by road from Nadi Airport, and blessed with one of the only white sand beaches in the Nadi area. The beach faces due west, giving breathtaking sunsets across the nearby islands. A truly marvellous and relaxing holiday by the sea. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beach villa with pool is delightful. No crowds, just other friend,y, relaxed visitors. This is undoubtedly Fiji at its best.

The staff were fantastic and attentive to your every request. Food was magnificent, I highly recommend the Seafood Chowder, Seafood Linguine and the fried rice. Cooked breakfasts were awesome too. The Bures could use a freshen up, but seriously, how often would you be in there..... just to sleep.

Stayed in a large beachside villa for 3 nights. Beautiful views, but villa was very dated and needed maintenance. Got absolutely eaten by ants/mosquitos while outside. No wifi in villa at all, and weak cell phone coverage. Service was average, ordered an airport taxi pickup with staff the day before travel, and on the morning they hadn’t arranged anything and so we ended up leaving 20 mins late. Restaurant/bar has amazing views, but is a bit dated. Breakfast Buffett average. Beach is sand, but stony/coral in water.

We stayed in 2 bedroom garden villa which was beautiful, spacious, clean, with all amenities and its own private pool. Our stay was sensational and relaxing in a family friendly environment offering daily activities (like weaving, kava tasting and village visits) extensive dinning menu, beautiful grounds, spa treatments, cocktails galore and amazing sunsets during dinner. But what made this resort incredible were the staff. Beautifully welcoming and warm. 💜

We stayed in a Ocean Front Spa Bure (Room 319) for 5 nights. Our whole experience was just fantastic!! The view was incredible, the food delicious, the room unbelievably adequate 🌺. The Mosaic Tiling in the bathroom was done by someone with a sense of humour!! Ok, the details! Resort: Well looked after. Big swimming pool. Room: Bar Fridge, King Bed, Air conditioner, Place to hang clothes and to store luggage, heaps of electrical plugs, couch and sitting area. Electric Jug. Bathroom: Spa Bath that doubles as a shower, toilet and vanity. Porch: Fully screened. The best part of this resort was all the staff! Next door is a place called Vuda Harbour. There is a General Store, where you can buy spirits, beer, food items and gifts. Also there is a restaurant called the Boat Harbour you can sit outside and admire the Marina and the food is a fair price! Kids completely welcome. All this for a $5.00 taxi ride from First Landing!!!…

We have just returned from Fiji and stayed at First landing. We stayed in a one bedroom Villa. The place was clean and tidy. Room service daily with clean towels and absolutely amazing staff. There is a pool attached to the Villa which the kids loved. The food is amazing, delicious. The entertainment while having dinner is great too. All the staff were engaging and remembered our names. The kids club is great which gave us a nice break. I can’t fault this place and the Villa we stayed in. We will definitely return. If you are looking for a true Fijian experience please go to First landing. The sunsets are the best!

The staff were the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. They were great if a little slow at serving at times but we were on holiday and experiencing ‘Fiji time’. The food was good too. I had lobster one evening-really delicious, my husband tried pork belly which he liked so much he had it again. The bures were clean and tidy, but a little tired. There were some more modern ones. The pool was a good size and kept clean. Wifi connections were poor, very intermittent. We both had a back massage which was supposed to be for 30 minutes and we were dispatched after 20 mins. It felt like they were keen to get home! We enjoyed Fiji and taking into consideration it’s a 3 star, it was ok.

Visited Fiji for the first time for 2 anniversary’s and 3 birthdays with friends/family. As a first time visitor to the country, I wish I’d known a few things about this resort prior to booking. THE POSITIVES: - Staff: hands down some of the nicest and most accommodating people. They were so sweet and remembered guests names and preferences. It didn’t matter which staff we came across, they were absolutely lovely. - The Grounds: beautifully kept and very traditional. - Location: You’re 20 minutes away from the airport and 10-15 minutes away from local towns. - Price: we paid about $3000 for 6 nights for 3 people with breakfast included. Not bad in terms of what we’re used to travelling around the world. - Drinks were great and well priced. THE NEGATIVES: - ACCOMODATION: We stayed in the Royal 2 bedroom Villa with private pool and beach access. The pictures on the website are accurate from afar, however the villa is very old and unkempt. - couches and beds were dirty/burnt/damaged and really uncomfortable; - kitchen was surface clean but cockroaches roaming everywhere when you opened a cupboard; - bathroom was large but had no shower screen so it constantly flooded the entire space every time I showered and took ages to drain - lack of clean towels - we basically had to beg for new towels to be delivered. - BEACH: completely covered in rocks and basically a wasted space. You can’t walk on the sand or swim in the ocean without cutting your feet open. It would be a fantastic opportunity to partner with a company that sells rock shoes, however without footwear it’s basically impossible to enjoy. Such a shame when you imagine Fiji has some of the most beautiful beaches and nicest waters - The tide really takes the water out during the day, so there were times were it appeared we had absolutely no water, just an endless sea of rocks. - FOOD: very limited menu and one restaurant to choose from. Their bar menu/lunch menu is a condensed version of their main menu, and with nothing else around in close proximity it’s very disheartening - breakfast had nothing without sugar! Fruits/jams/spreads/yoghurt and baked goods. No vegetables or anything savoury in sight unless you ordered from the breakfast menu at an additional cost. Even then (I’m a vegetarian for reference) it was basically a hash brown or canned mushrooms. Really disappointing when you’re staying there for 6 nights. On the last night we went to the Sofitel for a buffet dinner and were amazed at the difference in food/cleanliness and service. So many different food options which was a blessing after 5 days and nights of the same food. For anyone wishing to stay here, it is a more traditional resort but fails to provide the basics for a great stay. The place needs to be updated and more food options provided for guests. They have a nice spot, but it’s such a wasted opportunity. Also just for comparison - after leaving I googled packages at some Denarau Island resorts which were basically priced the same as First Landing, but knowing how much more these resorts offer, unfortunately there is nothing that would draw me back here.…
