Totally uninterested staff - they prefer to play with their phone rather than helping a client. I'm still not certain they speak English.
I stayed for 2 nights and each night I had to go ask for a towel.
Rooms are nice though and very comfortable.
The view over the bay is lovely.

We spent 3 nights here in March 2006. I will never forget the view from the balcony - it is spectacular! Savusavu Harbour is one of those places which changes under different light, so you just want to keep taking more and more photos. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and had been recently refurbished. The air-conditioner worked well for a bit of relief from the heat. The swimming pool is really nice and also looks out over the harbour. A big plus was that the ex-chef (of 14 years) from the Costeau Resort has recently opened his own restaurant at the Hot Springs Hotel. The food is simple fantastic! We didn't want to eat anywhere else - you could not have got better anywhere. It was some of the best food we have eaten anywhere! Quality of meat was incredible. Prices were very reasonable. We caught Tuna and the Chef prepared the most fantastic sashumi for us! We loved Savusavu and the Hot Springs Hotel - would thoroughly recommend! Just one small word of warning - we were charged 4% extra for paying by Visa card!!!

This is one of the best views in savusavu. Early in the morning, you get to see islands appearing through the thick mist and disappearing in between. You cannot get enough of it.
The staff here is amazing. Super friendly. Very helpful and kind.
Hotel is clean and comfortable.
The breakfast in the hotel is also reasonable not exceptional. It does not cost much anyway.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Hot Springs Hotel. Two of the main things that we have constant good reviews from our guests are the spectacular view from the hotel and the friendly and helpful attitude of our staff.

Not many hotels or lodge in Savu Savu, either it’s full or the price is a bomb!. When you tell people you going to Savu Savu Fiji, people will suggest Hot Spring Hotel.
Location, i think the best, in the middle of the town, on top of the hill facing a beautiful marina. Experience .. zero to 10
Room was dirty, no dust bin, smell like nit clean! We have to go to town to buy air freshener as you get zero service!. Bed sheet, smells somebody has been slept on it and pillow smell fresh Kava , what i am trying to say, they did not change linen. Pillow case have sweat stain and smell of somebody oily hair! I do not know how i manage to sleep that night, i have to cover the pillow with my jacket and the next day i cannot use the jacket as its smells like the pillow.
Upon check in, you will be given a yellow, thin, discolour towels ar reception, and upon check out you have to bring your dirty towel back to reception! Seriously!
You can’t ask for any service after 6pm as everything is locked. When we asked to change pillow, reception will say, you can take the chair seat to sleep on!
Check out, we check out at 5am, so we brought our wet, dirty towels to the reception counter. Nobody was there, and we saw two gentlemen snoring on a sofa at the lobby, we went to wake them up, one is a security and another is the receptionist. We put our towels on the counter, he woke up still sleepy, smelly! and collect our dirty towels, and said ok you may go, I told him I have not pay for the room, he said , ‘oh give me the money!’ , I said wheres the check out paper i need to sign, he said no check out paper, all locked! You give money, NO receipt! Things getting weird, we both ladies at 5 am in the morning and nobody else at the lobby. So I told him, pls ask your management to call me and i will bank in the money! So we left!! The next day received a nasty call from Hot Spring Hotel, the exact words, ‘helloMs.. you did not pay for the room yesterday!’
No more Hot Spring hotel for me! I can’t even sleep and i have to pay for the bed!
Savu Savu is beautiful by the way! But beware of drunkard if you check out early, they toooo drunk and slept everywhere at the shops walk way! I don’t think they are homeless!

I will start with the positive - pool deck area is great with amazing views.

Unfortunately, I then went to the room. It is neat and tidy but clearly needs a major upgrade. It looks old and feels old

Bedding is old. Pillows are paper thin.

I booked the hotel because it had a bath. No plug. Can't call reception from the room. Got the plug after they had to look for one. Returned to the room to find no hot water! I don't like cold water.

Then discovered no toilet paper. Couldn't be bothered walking back to reception so just used tissues.

Only 1 old towel provided. No help at all with the drying process.

I am very disappointed. There are better value for money hotels in SavuSavu. Next time I will research properties better. I suggest you do the same

you d book this hotel just to take pics of a nice bay.
it is very clairaudient, the rooms are basic, though the hotel staff promote them as luxury, the staff is just so unhelpful and unprofessional in whatever they do or say.only few cleaning ladies are normal and nice.
very very basic breakfast
many drunking people at nite making terrible noise
I d never ever choose this hotel.
better go up the hill to a nice and private place.

Staff is generally really friendly. However they never passed us the messages that the dive shop left for us. When our room got broken into (when we were eating at the pool with some friends) the staff had the good sense to tell us we should have eaten in our room instead of by their pool.
Later on they even told stories of how we had all kinds of different people (locals) in the room, which is completely false.
When we moved to another room after the break in, the staff wanted us to pay the difference.
All in all the friendliness seems supericial at the best of times and turns into outright lies when I would have expected all cooperation to solve this crime.

I stayed there 4 nights recently. Great place for the money and the staff is always very polite. The rooms are tidy, bed a little small for a 6.2 person. Overall a great experience

This hotel has the best location and view since it is located on top of the town of Savusavu. It is just amazing with the hotel facing the sea. Its a must visited place in Fiji. You will just love everything about this hotel, the town and the people.

The stay in the hotel was excellent. Excellent staff, not a bad size room and location was very central.

The only down side to the hotel is that the rooms could do with a bit of renovation. The executive rooms were simple with beds and pillows needing a change. Bathrooms were old and very needed attention. Towels and linen could be a whiter.

In saying the above, staff were really friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as they could.

Clean room, good and simple aircon and secure.
