Ghazala Gardens Hotel garners praise for its pristine condition, with visitors frequently commending the spotless rooms, pools, and well-kept gardens. While the rooms' cleanliness and aesthetic appeal receive positive mentions, a few guests suggest they could benefit from modernization. The service is generally celebrated for its friendliness and professionalism, though instances of slow or unsatisfactory treatment have been reported. Despite the high marks for the hotel's amenities and vibrant atmosphere, some guests find the value diminished by service delays and confusion regarding the all-inclusive offerings.

We arrived on the first flight from UK. After an excellent reception at the airport, we were welcomed at the hotel with drinks and refreshing towels and lots of smiling faces. The first room we were allocated was on the ground floor, but we were moved to a 1st floor better room which was much more to our liking.

The location of the hotel is excellent, being a few minute's walk from Naama Bay, and there was someone to escort you across the busy road (Lollipop chap 🙂)

The food for the first few days was a bit disappointing compared to other hotels in Egypt, but as the two weeks went by it improved every day.

The food was served in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, but we also found the Italian and Mexican at lunch times very good. In the evenings there are also a la cartes in which there are all inclusive options and also pay extra options, and you could book as many times as you liked, but it needed to be booked in advance, the food was superb in all of them. We found the Kokai (Chinese/Thai) very much worth a visit, even though this is extra charge as it is located at the sister hotel near the beach, but can be booked through food and beverages at the hotel. It was great, even if you wanted an alternative to the menu there.

The drinks were OK, larger, 3 wines, usual local spirits, cocktails - some at extra charge, soft drinks which were usually served out of the bottle and hot drinks. The water was served by the glass at the bars, all mineral water including ice, but you also got bottled water and tea/coffee facilities in your room.

The staff were absolutely fantastic from the General Manager, Mohammed Abuelwafa, down to Susie the cat 🐱, also Ahmed the front office manager, Sabah from Reception, Mohammed 'darling' bar waiter, Sammi the English Guest Relations, Fandabbydozy Chef, Mexican restaurant manager/chef, sorry didn't get your name and Sayeed the Red Sea Holidays rep, in fact too many to mention personally, nothing was too much trouble for any of them.

There are plenty of little pools although a little cold in the winter, but one heated pool and an artificial beach but plenty of sunspots and sunbeds with towel cards provided, and you could use the beach at the sister hotel across road. It is worth looking at the hotel on you tube etc. to see the complex.

We also made plenty of friends, thanks to all for your great company 😀

Overall the hotel is a bit tired/dated, but we saw improvements over the two weeks and the management were always happy to receive feedback/suggestions. The food may not be 5 star yet, but the staff were definitely 10 star 😃😄

We will return in the near future, Inshallah😀😀

So we came for my sisters 21st Birthday... I didn’t know what to expect and being used to a modern feel it was definitely a shock when we came, but that was a minor error and quickly forgotten.

The hotel itself is so clean, the rooms are quite dated and do need a bit of upgrading as we had dim bulbs and on the last day our bulbs did go out but they quickly rectified all our issues we had straight away and were more than happy to assist where needed.

The beach at the sister hotel is also so beautiful, It’s so lively and there’s loads to do, I never actually dined at the restaurants there but some family did and they thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Animation team were the biggest disappointment here, they weren’t very warm and welcoming and when we did ask for songs they made it seem like a bigger deal then it was, this didn’t put a downer on our evenings as we created our own parties and made the most of our Holiday. It would be nice if there was more going on during the day within the hotel rather than most things happening at the sister hotel but that’s personal preference too.

The highlight of the holiday was the staff at the main bar near the lobby! AMAZING! We made friends with them all and they treated us so kindly, I would definitely return as long as they were all still there... Ahmed, Umrah, Hercules(Selim) the three of them are the biggest legends to look out for two of them are in the picture too and if you go into the hotel and ask for Hercules I’d like to think they know who you mean😂!

There’s a heated pool near the Italian restaurant which we didn’t find till the end of the week but it’s a beautiful area, the beach had more as there’s a heated pool, a gym and all the other water sport activities.

At the start of the week food was an issue as being vegetarian I found the choice was minimal but we had a chat with our holiday rep Fady and 2 of the managers and they quickly helped us out and we got personal visits from the chef and meals made just for us, they were very accommodating and I enjoyed every meal after this so a big thank you to the Mexican restaurant manager and the chefs! THANK YOU!

But seen as though it’s just opened up to the British public all issues we had were simply teething problems and soon they won’t exist as the buffet food itself improved towards the end of the week.

I can’t wait to come back to Sharm and I would recommend this hotel to everybody.

I have just come back from a weeks holiday at Ghazala Gardens, and it was one of the most enjoyable weeks I’ve ever had. The moment you arrive in the country, there is someone there to support you and guide you through the process. A short coach ride and you arrive at a gorgeous building, with lovely cold drinks and flannels, smiling faces and a heavenly air conditioned foyer. Within moments, having walked past one of the two pools that connects all parts of the hotel, you reach your spotless room, with fresh fruit and bottled water and your cases having beaten you there.

The spotless sand beach was less than 5 minutes away, but the hotel have even put a restaurant and a bar on the shore, so you don’t have the return to the hotel when you’re peckish! You also pass the gym and spa in the sister hotel across the road. I had 3 massages and I was in pure heaven. Having arrived at the hotel with a bad leg, and many knots in my back, I left with no pain and even managed to run on the sand. Naama Bay is less than 5 minutes in the other direction and hosts a lovely collection of local and tourist shops.

The hotel itself is beautiful and the call to prayer that can be heard really makes you feel connected to the Egyptian culture, whilst sipping your cocktail. Whilst the food could use a little work, the staff work tirelessly to make sure that everything in your stay is to the highest standards. Even the cats that live on site are amazingly taken care off; being taken to the vets every six months to be checked over, making them wonderful hotel companions.

The thing that makes this hotel head and shoulders above the rest is the people who work to maintain it. With a photographer and a beauty spa, it is the restaurant staff and front of house who should be applauded. I must give special mention to Sam (Samantha) who is the Guest Relations Officer. Practically living at the hotel, no problem is too large or too small for the marvellous woman to fix. Her passion for her job shines through every act and she is an asset to the hotel and to Egypt. Whilst staff such as Mr Ali and the other guest relation officer, Ksenia, Sam changed my stay from a lovely holiday to a once in a life time experience, one that will be hard to beat.

My first time in Egypt, my first time on an all-inclusive package, so I can't compare with other such resorts. For what you pay, you get a large, comfortable room (I had a junior suite), access to swimming pools and a beach with amazing snorkelling, excellent service and plenty of food and drink. I wanted a quiet place to rest and good swimming. I got both. The suites are fortunately based far from the central area where there is much loud music (not my thing, but clearly Egypt's thing and perfectly bearable if you can find time away from it). There's a wonderful 50metre heated pool (the unheated pools look lovely but are rather nippy in late January). The sea is nippy too, don't go at this time expecting tropical conditions. But the sea is remarkably clean and clear, with incredible snorkelling just metres away. Booked a £42 day excursion snorkelling from a boat, which was well run and very enjoyable. Also took a cab up to Sharks Bay for some excellent snorkelling on a small beach with mercifully no music. The beer was acceptable, the white wine undrinkable, all in large quantities if you want it. Choose carefully and you can find good food - omelettes, aubergines, cream cheese and salads - but there's not much variety in the decent food. Burgers and fried food seemed straightforward and fine. Otherwise the food seemed more about carbs and quantity. And there was plenty of it. I ate out at restaurants in Naama Bay, but found nothing to compare with, say, bog standard towns in Spain or Italy. Not too expensive, but not too good. All this said, you can't help falling in love with the hotel, because the people who work there are so friendly and helpful. The service is exceptional, from everyone I encountered. Also, I understand the hotel is changing fast to adapt to and to attract holidaymakers from western europe. Food may therefore improve. Overall, I was delighted to visit the Ghazala Gardens Hotel.

We have just returned from Ghazala Gardens. On
arrival we thought the hotel looked nice, the reception was
large with shabby chic sofas and latern lights. The pool area attractive and clean. The room
was spacious and clean. Our mini bar fridge which incidentally had nothing in it even though we were all inclusive, was old and rusty inside and not cold at all.
After three nights at 4.30am the fridge exploded like a bomb going off, shrapnel was all over the beds and floor, then the smell of toxic gas filled the room. We had to run out into the corridor. Cutting a very long story short we eventually moved to the room next door. That fridge could have killed us so beware if you go there in the future.
The food was awful and repetitive. Due to the airport shutting down we only had five nights, I would have hated to spend two weeks eating there. They didn’t put any butter out with the bread after breakfast. One night the food was so bad we made ourselves a couple of dry bread cheese sandwiches. The bars were
also terrible. The beer was warm and had a weird taste, the all inclusive cocktails were just shorts with soft drinks and no frills. Bottled beer was chargeable and also the
fancier cocktails. The pool bar had no working fridges
so they wrapped 2ltr bottles of soft drinks in foil to keep them cool. Everyone was complaining about it all. The entertainment was a few young lads playing Ibiza style
music when most of the guests were middle aged and older. The beach was across the road at the sister hotel.
There was an all inclusive bar that served the same warm beer and soft drinks as the hotel. The beach restaurant for all inclusive guests had an extensive choice of hot dog, burger, pasta all served with chips. The same Ibiza music was played very loud on the beach all day. The WiFi was so poor we had trouble checking back home about flights and the corona virus updates.
Most of the staff were friendly and are about to loose their jobs again due to the the lockdown in Sharm. The area itself has gone a bit run down since the ban on flights there. A lot of bars, restaurants and shopping malls have closed down. There are no banks open at all but we paid for everything in sterling. I hate to write this review because I know Sharm has had a bad time in recent years but they need to know what tourists want or don’t do all inclusive. Good food, cold and decent drinks, entertainment for all and decent WiFi.

We stayed at the Ghazala Gardens Hotel and this was one of the best hotels we had stayed in. We had not been to Egypt before and the friendliness of all the staff was first class, two people we would like to mention who were absolutely fantastic and made our holiday was Saeed Mohamed and Meimei or as we knew him as the lovely Jubbly man. We must also mention our room cleaner Mohamed who did a great job. Our room was one of the swim up rooms and it was worth the extra money because we could just get up in the morning and have a swim outside our room. The overall layout of the hotel is very good and it is easy to find and reach all the amenities. We would definitely recommend this Hotel and are planning to come back soon. Thank you all from Andy and Bonita Curtis.

We were moved here by the Red Sea holiday rep because we were previously staying at the experience St George,

Having had a terrible experience at the first hotel we arrived at the ghazala Gardens on the 21st of February, my wife is disabled in a mobility scooter so we thought being moved here we would be able to have access to more facilities and a better choice of food. That was definitely not the case, thankfully close by in Naama Bay there was KFC there was McDonald's.
Otherwise we would have starved.

On first impressions they hotel grounds looked very nice, however looking closely the pool has all dirty, we didn't go in the pool at all that week, for fear of getting some sort of an infection.

The sun beds were very rickety falling apart,

The furniture in the reception was all stained and marked, if you dad sitting at you got stuck to the seat, The Wicker furniture was held together by nails they were falling apart, the, my wife hands and feet were cut by the nails.

They put us in a disabled room that had been previously Condemned 5 years previous, the handrails in the disabled room were coming away from the wall there was nothing to grab onto, the water never drained when you had a shower so my wife fell over because of that. The fridges never worked, so we had to put my wife insulin in a cold water bath in the sink,

Moving onto the food and drink we were on an all-inclusive package, we paid for that but what we were given was a cheap crap package. The food was appalling unedible never any change same old crap every day, again there was a restaurant up some steps which my disabled wife could not use because she was in a mobility scooter so not suitable for disabled people.

The drinks were always warm never any flavour the beer was flat warm,
Drinks were awful, the bottled beer you had to pay extra for, the glasses were chipped and It cut my wife's mouth made her bleed.

The only good thing about this place was there guest relations officer Samantha, and the manager of the Mexican restaurant Ahmed.

So pleased with this charming hotel. Particularly the beautiful gardens with meandering pools. I have been amazed to discover a sparkling clean 50 metre pool surrounded by palm trees in which to satisfy my daily addiction to a good long swim. There are poolside suites with steps down into it and I would definitely try to book one of these next time. And of course there is free access to the beach with a large swimming area which contains a tiny reef and quite a lot of fish.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and always try to meet every need. The food is of good quality and I always find something nice for each meal. I discovered the best alcoholic drink here is rose wine, and it is delicious. And the daily breakfast omelettes with fresh bread were amazing!

There is also a spa where I enjoyed a facial, a pedicure and a sports massage. And a snorkelling or diving trip to Ras Mohammad National Park is not to be missed.

Sharm el Sheik has struggled through the drop in tourism over recent years and they are absolutely delighted to welcome back English visitors as the flights have just resumed. Sharm has extensive security in place and I feel safer here than I do at home in London.

It’s important to keep in mind this is an all inclusive offering available at very affordable prices, so not everything is perfect. Some of the food and drink were not to my taste - so I didn’t have them again! And the rooms are rather tired BUT they are very clean and the staff respond immediately to feedback. I think some of the bad reviews in this site are rather harsh. If you have a positive outlook you will definitely have a great time here.

All in all I would definitely come back here.

I'll be honest, looking at the list of things that didn't work out, I cannot believe what a good time we had. The hotel is beautiful, the staff is exceptionally friendly (we traveled with a 11-month old baby who had a huge fan club by the end of our stay). But don't expect all the amenities you would normally see at a 4* hotel: our fridge, phone, and some lamps didn't work, toilet paper is a precious commodity, there is no shower gel provided, shampoo is not refilled every day, ... The rooms are designed to keep you cool during the hot summer but in February it can be a bit chilly so be prepared. The food at the restaurants is pretty much what you'd expect, and the whole place is still good value for the money you pay. Just be aware it won't be a nice, basic experience but nothing too fancy.

We have been to sharm 8 times now and after 4 years when we could not go because of the goverment stopping flights to the country we was delighted to be able to visit sharm again .We selected the ghazala gardens fir its cost and local to the local centers .
On arrival an english lady met us called Samantha ,she was Excellent, providing us with information on the hotel services etc.
The staff could not do enough for you and wait on you hand and foot.
The restaurant was like many other fully inclusive hotels, plenty of choice and we always found something we liked. When we wanted a change, we went the other restaurants in the hotel little Italy. a Mexican and a Brazilian restaurant ,the menus had a cost besides the payed meals and the rest of the menu was covered within the fully inclusive .These restraints was first class and at lunch times when we wanted a change we went to the Mexican and the staff especially mimi Mohamed and faris was absolutely brilliant ,when you go in just ask for him he will look after you that’s for sure,
The reception staff was also very good nothing was too much trouble for them to assist you.
On reading other reviews on the hotel I am surprised they are people moaning about the hotel ,Yes it is a little tired but they are doing it up as they can .We must all remember that Egypt has been without many tourists for 4 years and it has hit many hotels hard .
Would we go back to this hotel yes most defiantly .
