Arrived at 8.30pm and reception said " drop bag in to room and go to restaurant as it closed at 9.0pm. Got to restaurant and no food left, told staff and they just shrugged shoulders. had to eat out. Next morning went for breakfast, nothing at all for English people except hard boiled eggs, no cornflakes, bacon, sausages, no toaster. Even the German guests didn't have much to choose from. Evening meal much the same, no selection and at 8.0pm any food there was cold as food was heated by 3 candles under the trays and had gone out. Next morning same again, hard boiled eggs, same all week except one day, yippee scrambled eggs, cold !!! TV is a joke, looks like ariel has fallen off the rook and wifi keeps dropping signal in the lounge. Private beech 200 yards away is good.

No Activities do at all The room is old ,TV monitor and no variety in channels ,even the channels quality are very poor. Room Telephone not working. Bathroom need maintenance. The Bed mattress is not comfort. Breakfast is very poor and the food is not tasty. The most positive point is the location , only 3 minutes walking from the Marina and many restaurants near by. Over all I don't enjoy the stay

Fabulous sea view room overlooking the marina with a large balcony to enjoy it from. Enjoyed sunrises and evening drinks as sun goes down. Hotel is in a quiet area away from noisy main road traffic so plenty of peace and quiet. Pool is quiet and secluded and captures the sun during day. A good varied breakfast to get the day off to a good start ready for a day of sightseeing or beaches. Good location - close to centre for shops, close to Marina for boat trips, fine restaurants and people watching. I ended up using Hotels restaurant for many Lunch/dinners as most reliable quality and best value around. Is a short 2-min walk to marina restaurants which were most picturesque in Hurghada. Very pleasant lunch overlooking moored boats on marina was possible with 2 minute walk from hotel each day. A good stocked hotel bar with large flat screen TV with English/european football so I didn't need to miss any games, was very convenient as difficult to find screenings outside hotel. Excellent manager Karim Swellam went above and beyond good service by helping me with an issue with dropped booking at my previous Hurghada hotel which were nothing to do with his hotel. This put my mind at rest and ensured I could relax and enjoy the rest of my stay in Hurghada. Staff speak a number of european languages and have good english so easy to be understood. Good wi-fi was excellent bonus so that I could stay in touch. I got lucky with an excellent choice of hotel and will stay again next time. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This hotel has such a great location but these rooms are just much worse what we expected... So When we firstly entered to lobby everthing seemed to be good and nice. But the truth hit us when we entered to our room, it was very old and everything is in bad condition. Our beds are hard and pillows were so over used (flat). Tiles on floor are barely on its places. Toilet doesnt even flush. Bathroom is in bad condition, there is probably some mold, and i have seen small bugs in bathroom. Air condition makes alot noise and not sure if its good to use because of the dust in the room. Breakfast is always the same, bread, cereal and some vegetables. Cant afford good meat and if you dont wake up before 8am all of the eggs are gone. Anyways the location is very good and very close to marina harbor and walking street, where are the very best restaurants

On a super location, close to the beach, free to use for the hotel and close to the city. We had a booking that included breakfast and dinner, the breakfast is almost every day the same but both are ok. The price is so low, that you can eat outside as well. this is an ideal hotel for persons who like to explore around. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. we forgot something after Haman and massage, the hotel arrange to get it back for us.

After a fantastic 1 week, live a board dive holiday, we had the displeasure of staying at the hotel. As we left the boat at 9.30am the dive holiday arranged for us to stay at the hotel till 2.00pm. We could use the facilities, such as pool/ bar and leave our luggage , for 6.00 Euro’s each. I had asked for a room as well and specifically asked if our party could use the shower in the room before we travel. We we arrived the receptionist was rude, abrupt and if he speaks to all guests as he did to others staying at the hotel it’s no wonder it was so quiet. Our party was not allowed to use the shower. Don’t know why as we only saw three other people at the hotel. The hotel seems to be in the final stages of decay, with poor facilities and a deathly atmosphere. Bare wires on the electric lamps, toilets that don’t flush. Coupled with the aggressive man on reception a real winner for a holiday location. Really don’t go, there’s better hotels in the same price bracket, where you will be treated with some respect.

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past three years on diving trips to Hurghada both solo and with my partner. On each occasion there has always been some problem, but nothing I/we couldn't put up with. And we do know that the hotel rooms are tired and that the bathrooms need a bit of tlc. This time though they surpassed themselves. I booked in for a two week stay in September. On arrival at 11 pm my booked pool view room was actually a room on the other side of the hotel overlooking waste ground. When I insisted that I got what I booked I was given a room overlooking the garden/pool which clearly wasn't ready - no towels or toilet roll in the bathroom. Nor had any food been kept for me even though I was booked in for dinner (it is usual in Egypt for the hotels to plate up a snack for late arrivals who miss dinner). On requesting towels a surly and annoyed member of staff brought me two small hand towels. I had to request that he brought me proper sized bath towels so I could shower. Next morning, it took three increasingly insistent requests and an hour and a half wait before a toilet roll was brought from the cupboard twenty metres along the corridor from my room. Later in the morning the lady on the front desk was apologetic and moved me to the room next door which she said was nicer. True - it did have towels and toilet roll but after a day the hot water in the bathroom stopped and there was a flood along the outside corridor from the ceiling but no sign of anyone doing repairs or cleaning it up. When I complained about the lack of hot water again I was moved to another 'nicer' room. Yes, it had hot water. Yes, they said they knew the hot water in my second room had stopped working - but obviously didn't think to tell me or try to fix the problem. So in the space of two or three days I had occupied three different rooms having unpacked and had to move my belongings.A couple of days later, I fancied a swim in the pool, but it was very murky and green looking. I mentioned this and it was agreed that it needed to be cleaned(!). The next morning after someone clearly put some chlorine in the pool the whole of the bottom was covered in green algae which was being sucked up with the pool cleaning apparatus. I was then told that the reason the pool was dirty was because Egyptians had been swimming in it. Not that I saw any green Egyptians. Or green anyone. Swimming or otherwise. Though you might become ill and go green if you swim in the pool. This same issue with the pool was repeated a few days later. So, beware, if you stay here and want the pool to be clean, you, the guest, have to ask, and then wait. The final straw for me was that the air conditioning unit in my room, which somehow managed to pick up the smell of cigarette smoke from elsewhere and blow it into my room (I don't smoke and don't want to) started to leak and took three days to fix. This hotel doesn't have maintenance staff of its own, so they have to be called in from outside. At this point I became tired of the succession of problems and having to complain, so I moved to another hotel. Note to Sea Garden - I was the guest and you are supposed to pick up and deal with the problems, not me. To be fair, I am pretty certain that none of this is the fault of the staff generally, nearly all of whom are very nice and try their best to help. The fault lies with the person who calls himself the Vice President of the hotel, really the general manager I think who occupies a basement room in the hotel and hides in there all day letting front desk staff take the flak for what is clearly not their fault. Clearly the fundamental problem is a reluctance to spend any money on maintenance, upkeep or renewal of items - the (three) pool umbrellas are the worst I have seen in any hotel. Anyway I moved to a much better hotel for the same nightly price. Any tning good about the hotel - well as I say, the staff are nice and the food, whilst limited in terms of selection, is quite reasonable. But for me , never, ever, again.
