All inclusive service - that meant no worring about what and where to eat etc, that was very comfortable and stressfree. Big variety of foods and something slightly new every day, that was also nice.
The room was fine - wasn't cold, had opportunity to open the windows (and air conditioning that we didin't need) and had a nice balcony to sit on. Everything was clean and housekeeping came cleaning regularly, also left us some fun suprises in the room (like swan made of towel etc)
The hotel is located next to the sea, so there is a private beach in the hotel area. The hotel is located in a street with a lot of other hotels and little shops for tourists. Hurghada city is also not far with the taxi.
All the staff at the hotel was very friendly, making sure everything was good with us all the time.
Animation team was also very friendly, inviting us to fun activities and we also liked their shows at night.
All in all we were very happy with the stay and would advise to visit for a nice stress-free vacation!

I stayed here for 8 days and it was one of the best trip experiences that i have had.
Rooms that me and my family stayed were all clean and in modern style. One problem was that we had to change it because rooms with sight to the pools are really cold and Conditioner doesn’t have heating programm. It is a problem if You decide to come when it’s winter time in Egypt. So we switched to one that has a sight to the city.
Our one of the favorite part was the food that they serve in “Carina” restraunt. It gives you all sorts of food that you can taste, from their national food to the the one u eat at home, including fruits, salad, desert and all drinks including alchol. They serve three times a day Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Second favorite part was the staff and animation team, they were so welcoming, caring, outgoing and with great humor.
Without animation team ir wouldn’t be so fun, because they didn’t let me get bored. They had such fun activities as Yoga, football, morning streches, pool aerobic, dance classes. Special thanks to animators - Fox : Volleyball game, it was a full of laugh and enjoyable game.
Mo and Milana - who taught us dance classes with their help i learned new dance moves.
Liana and Polina- with their help my daughter made new friends and always was in good mood and most important i could leave her with them without need to worry and knowing that she will be in safety and happy.
Also i want to thank Animation team for their hard work and the shows that they performed every evening for us!

It's amazing hotel everything here is so clean rooms it's so wonderful the covers it's new the view of our rooms it was so good really and we enjoyed to much in the aquapark and the sea is so clean and safe for children also and the food here its more than wonderful because everyday is deffrent foodl and you never feel boring in this hotel because the animation every where on the beach and in the pool and the show I. Extremly unprofessional staff. They dont know how to handle any problem. We had to wait for 3 hours just to get fresh towels. Our bathroom had a minor problem with the shower that could’ve been easily fixed under 5 mins but we had to wait 5 hours and file several complaints just for someone to come up and fix it! They only gave us one bin per room and when we asked for an extra one to put in the bathroom they told us that we’re only allowed one bin. We stayed there for 5 days, 4 nights and not once did they provide us with tissues when we asked. We booked a triple room for three people, they gave us a room with 2 mugs and 2 water bottles and we had to ask them more than once to get us a third of everything.
Kitchen staff are very rude and the food is just bland, they lacked creativity in putting together a decent lunch and dinner menu, no variety of options, served what appeared to be heated up leftovers and they even managed to screw up pasta in every possible way and omelettes didn’t taste like omlettes at all. The drinks were abysmal, tasted like water.
People also go into the pool not wearing appropriate swimwear. Will never go there again.
The management style is flawed, they don’t know how to follow up on complaints to make sure theyre fixed neither does the staff know how to follow the management’s orders.

Samra bay really is a very good hotel. Two lovely pools one heated & a great man made lagoon in the sea wich is netted to prevent ingress of flotsam & jetsam. Plenty of sun loungers & shades although a shame only a few lounger cushions. The rooms are large & clean with a little tea/coffee making area & tv with a couple of movie & news channels. The food is of great quality but I thought the choices could be improved. Animation team do a fantastic job of keeping you entertained but are not pushy ! Hotel staff all friendly . Only slight negatives are reception never had change to split 200 egyptian pound notes & you are charged to keep AI wristband after midday on departure even though you arrived late evening. All things considered RECOMMENDED

The hotel is a truly fantastic place.
Starting from its central location in the heart of Hurghada in the Hurghada Promenade.
The hotel is very clean and The beds were really comfortable. The room was spacious and the house keeping was really good. The Breakfast and Dinner buffets were very good with a nice varieties of dishes. The Lunch Buffet was fine but not as good. Most important is the hotel management and staff starting from the Reservation manager Mr. Maher, Reception manager Mr. Hany and his staff Mr. Eslam, Mahmoud and Mohammed. Also the restaurants staff and the animation team. They were all really helpful and very eager to make our stay as pleasant as possible.They would even go out of their may to help whenever they could. We will definitely come back again to Samra Bay Resort next time we are in Hurghada.

Had the best holiday here for Christmas and my daughter already wants to return! Every single member of staff was friendly and helpful (except main resteraunt manager who is always shouting at the staff) Food was good but no glasses all plastic cups. The reception guys (sorry cant remember names) were amazing with my daughter who loves football. They printed some concert tickets for me to suprise her and nothing is too much trouble! Bar, pool side and restaurant staff work tirelessly and always with a smile. We tried to book the Italian a few times, Noor another restaurant manager couldnt have been more helpful running across to get it sorted for out last night. cleaning staff do a great job of keeping rooms and grounds spotless and again always so friendly and polite. The entertainments team were probablly the best we have had with shows funnier than expected. British lady Becky, a girl from Czech and DJ Jamaica all super friendly! Cant wait to return!!

So, the hotel is big and have all the facilities - pool, bar, restaurant, spa, sunbeds at the sea,but the management has to work a lot more so they can deliver better service. The rooms were OK.
The all-in is not worth it, because the alcohol is very bad and if you want a cocktail to chill at the beach or pool, be prepared to have to go 7 times, as they give you only one small plastic cup (100ml), whit maybe 10gr alcohol, with bad soft drink in it. The food is not good at all. Let's say you won't stay hungry, but the salat section is very poor. The best thing we taste was small slises of pizza. There are a lot reviews with congratulations for the staff, but maybe they are different now. I am very disappointed from the staff. They are unpolite, barely understand foreign language, unhelpful.The person at the reception told me at least 3 times, when I had a question to ask my guide. The animation team was the only good one, but a bit too much for us as all of them came at least 2 times per person(we saw 6 people from the team) , in an hour time ,to tell us we can go on a disco, for which we have to pay extra and about the program for the week. After them came the boat man and the spa man again a couple of times and instead a chill day, relaxing and speaking with your family we had to explain over and over again that we know about the program and we just want to relax. So I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Super friendly staff by the pool, in the restaurants and on the beach. Also the animation team is very nice, they try to involve you in their activities without being pushy. People at the reception barely speak English and often have a hard time understanding you when you ask for something. The food was horrible, really to cry for. The same things every single day, bread was always old and hard, vegetables were always in a horrible sauce, salades were exactly the same every day and the fries were always still raw on the inside. After 3-4 days I stopped bothering even opening the trays to see what was inside. Out of pure misery we went to eat somewhere else on our last night. Also not vegetarian friendly at all. Meat in most of the salads for no reason and stuffed vegetables or pasta also very often contained meat. If possible the drinks were even worse. Cocktails were undrinkable, wine (if they had any) was always warm and did not have a nice flavor. Would not come back here for this reason!

Please note that all your concerns regarding food & Beverage quality have been directed to our Food & Beverage Manager to investigate and to take the necessary corrosive action, but we would like to draw your attention that we have not received any complaints about food or the the quality of the offered drinks during the mentioned stay, we would also like to confirm that we have food menu changing weekly at the main restaurant to keep the menu always variety enough, as we have good number of long stay guest( minimum stay 3 weeks) who confirmed that, the served food at the main restaurant is variety enough and nothing to complaint about, the main restaurant is serving the dinner with different themes night, we offer snack corner with different menu daily at the snack bar from 14:30 to 17:30 , we offer Ala Carte restaurant oriental and Italian for more variety ,we do apology that you didn't like all the previous options , and it wasn't up to your expectations, regarding the cocktails and the drinks, we have already conducted training for our staff to make sure that the drinks come with the expected result as it should be. we do thank you again for taking a part of your valuable time to share with us your experience, and we hope we succeeded to explain the inconvenience situation, and to welcoming you at the near future at Samra Bay Resort as our VIP repeater guest Kindly regards Guest experience & Quality Department

We are a mature couple and been to Hurghada many times over the last seven years . This is our first time in the Gravity and will not be the last rest assured. We booked for three nights between the 15th and 18th of March. We liked it so much, we extended our stay for a further 2 nights. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by two nice young men Mahmood and Mohamed. They have done all they can to make our checking in process smooth and hassle free. The Font desk manager Mr. Rami was also present and participated in giving us a nice see view room. The room we got was large with a nice balcony and directly over looking the swimming pool and the sea. One thing we noticed about this hotel is very clean through out and has well kept ground including gardens and swimming pools. The house keeping was excellent Ahmed and Mahmood done very good job. The bedding and towels were spotless and changed regularly during our stay. Mr. Rizzik the house keeping supervisor were always there to check on things and make sure every thing was up to high standards. The hotel has a nice restaurant just been built and opened to guest while we were there. The food is quite good and tasty and there is something for every taste. We were on all inclusive, there are bars serving drinks, food and snacks throughout the day. The hotel have a nice private beach well kept and clean.
I do not write reviews very often, but I felt this time I need to write one about The Gravity in Hurghada. I highly recommend it to every one . I must mention though that the hotel has an aqua park but was relatively quite when we were there.

No noise from planes, you do notice them flying over in the day, but certainly did not impact on sleep

"For the spa, don’t get a pedicure. It was the worse pedicure I’ve ever gotten and it was a bit expensive. The massages were nice, though. "
