Outside one of the rooms were packages of Kitty Litter. Appears to be frequented by people down on their luck/transients. It's only a few miles to the beach and appears to have guests barbecuing outside like they live there but that's the best i can say.

The room was nice, AC worked good, WiFi was good. The room had a fridge which was great.. The outside of the hotel including stairs was very dirty. Cigarette butts everywhere. Idiots throwing lit cigarettes from 2nd floor right where people come out of the stairs.

I read other reviews on this motel, but thought we would give it a shot anyway.
Don’t make the same mistake we did. Room was not ready at 5 pm, no big deal. When it was “ready” it wasn’t clean. Soiled sheets and a towel, ask them to remake one bed. Beer can and splatters on the wall behind the fridge. Told them about it, but was never cleaned. Second day room was not touched. We asked for clean towels and were given bath mats. I can’t believe Wyndham allows this place to use their name.

My family and I booked 2 rooms at this Super 8 and were appalled at the conditions since we checked in. Every appliance was broken, the sheets AND towels were stained and had holes in them. The walls have never been cleaned, even fresh brown stains dripping down in many places. To top it off, there was mold growing in the shower and on the curtain lining. No cable or phone service was even operable. We were promised WiFi and later told “it doesn’t work at night”. I have never in my life experienced such a grotesque setting that supposedly promises satisfactory customer services. We paid near $200 for a room that made us extremely uncomfortable in the middle of a global pandemic, might I add.

While we were pleased with the staff and location of hotel, we were disappointed by the state of the room. Parts of it were broken. There were stains on the sheet, a dunkin donuts cup in the lampshade, trash on the mirror and the appliances were missing. The photos attached kind of speak for themselves. Would be a fine place to stay if they cleaned up.

This place is awful. When we arrived we noticed half of the room doors were left open. Our room smelled terrible and had flies in it. The shower curtain had mold on it and the bathroom door had been kicked in. The carpet was dirty and had cigarette burns.

Checked kn first room was gross. Changed the room and the sencond one was worse. Found a bed bug. Opened the sheets and found two stinks bugs just chillin by the feet area. The sheets had stains and cig burn holes in it. Holes in the bathroom door. Didnt even put my stuff in the room. Tried to get my money back but the refused. Ended up staying at the hiltom for an extra 30 bucks.

My experience with this place did not start out well. Neither Waze nor Apple Maps could find the address, and when I called the hotel for directions I got the corporate HQ who could only give me the same address but couldn't transfer me (I was driving so couldn't write down the number). Finally we stumbled across it! This place is apparently too new, since it was built on the last year. Pro Tip: tell your GPS to take you to the Central Jersey Urgent Care at 731 State Route 35 in Asbury Park. It's right next door.
As motels go, the room was very clean, not too small, had a flatscreen TV and modern decor, the likes of which you would expect to see in a national hotel chain, rather than a budget motel. Coffee maker in the room and a clean bathroom.
This falls in the 2 star camp because it is a motel with bare amenities, but if you are looking for a place to crash after a concert at The Stone Pony, so not be scared off by the hotel class - this place is clean and affordable, not scary.

Let me just start by saying that this is the absolute worst hotel I have ever stepped foot in. For $250 for ONE night, you’d think we would at least have a somewhat decent place to sleep. It was SO BAD that we did not even sleep in the hotel, but in our car instead... there were flies EVERYWHERE... the bed was absolutely disgusting, stains on every square inch of both the bed and the walls. The front door did not even shut!!! There was a huge hole to the outside at the top of the door, so why even have a door on the room to begin with? There was also no bath towels OR toilet paper. The smell of mold was completely overwhelming.
Upon checking in the 2 people behind the desk were fighting with each other back and forth. Not once did they acknowledge that we were standing in front of them, let alone the line that began to form behind us. We basically had to beg to check in, feeling like a complete burden to these so-called “employees” of this dump. Everything was handled completely unprofessionally from the second we entered the door.
If I could give this place negative stars I would.. I’m sure everyone would agree it would be well deserved.
