Detailed Reviews
We stayed in Building No.4. The rooms were old and had smell. The bathrooms seriously need renovation. The pool area were not bad. There were 2 hot springs pools and 1 warm swimming pool. All guests must wear swimming suits. The breakfast were limited but ok, mostly Chinese food.

It is a Chinese resort, not fancy and a little run down, but the better rooms or even villas are at least clean and spacy and good value for money. Communication may be an issue if you do not speak Chinese. Even though it must have had better times it sort of has it's charme and they have a big fresh water pool and a hot spring pool. The greenery is quite nice. It is far out and there is not too much around except some little shops and restaurants, although not too many and catering to Chinese tourists, mostly the elder generation. Breakfast you better skip and the other two restaurants are just ok, nothing special, so it is advisable to head downtown where you can find amazing restaurants with great food, as in this region they have amazing seafood and other local dishes, partially reminding me of Vietnamese cuisine, yet with less herbs and fresh ingredients, but always adding spices. The resort is good for all type of travelers, including families with kids. Staff is quite friendly and helpful.

Spent the new year's eve and a day at the hot springs. The room quality is fair, nothing came over as bad. The restaurants on-site are fine and as long as it's not too crowed you'll more than likely have a good stay there.
The prices of the rooms change from day to day so keep that in mind. The price can go from 300 RMB a day for a room to 2000 RMB around the Chinese holidays.

I came through this hotel on a biking tour of Hainan Island. The hotel rooms were what I would expect from a motel in the USA -- clean enough, but not in beautiful condition. My room had a really nice balcony and the hot spring pool itself was large and really beautiful. There is also a bowling alley, a few restaurants, an outdoor cafe, and even a large-screen TV that played Mando-pop at night while we were in the hot spring.
The hotel was certainly not luxurious, but I have no complaints about it. It was nice enough, and clean enough, and I am happy to have been there.
