We have stayed here during our business trip in this area.
Location is good n the room is very big n tidy. The only comment is there nearby a night lighting performance which would be quite noise till 11pm.
Also, the breakfast offer is very limited which I cannot find things to have after 0900

This Guest House is just next to the Government office. The Phase 2 is a newly established building decorated in modern business hotel style. The finishing was not very good, but the room is nice and comfortable.
In summary, worthy to stay.

Although they name the hotel as guest house, I think it's more of a 4 stars hotel.

I came here for business and received Good service from them. Room is clean, however would be great if they can hsve a better aircon system as they kept turning off during my sleep and woke me up as I got too warm in the bed.

Bathroom is sizeable and clean, room comes with a rooftop facing the pool which is nice.

I enjoyed the breakfast quality and variety. I have also used the gym facilities, it's small but I guess good enough for a short stay.

Overall I enjoyed my stay in this hotel but I would also try out other hotels in Hainan when I am there as the other international brands like Shangri-la or Hilton are also in the same price range

Will not stay again and don't recommend. The bed headboard was very dirty. There were bugs flying around in my room. The toilet didn't flush and was backed up - no English service to explain. This morning awoke to roaches on the wall.

I stayed 2 nights at the Hainan Guest House (or "State Guest House of Hainan Province" which is its official name) in March 2011 when visiting the HNA Group.

The hotel is located right across the street from the brand new skyscraper housing the HNA Group headquarters, and adjacent to the Hainan Provincial Assembly. It is managed by HNA Hotels and is a high quality international standard 5-star estanblishment, despite the somewhat misleading name.

Rooms are very modern and spacious, featuring not just free high-speed internet access but also a flat screen computer to access the internet if you don't have a laptop with you. The buffet breakfast is adequate and filling and the other restaurants are also ok - nothing special by any means.

Overall, this is an excellent quality and value property if visiting Haikou.

I have stayed here a couple of times and the last time was much better although the rooms are still smoking which is revolting in 2017. The room is comfortable and the restaurant is fine but please allocate non smoking rooms.

I loved this hotel. Great rooms at a great price. The rooms had ashtrays so people obviously smoke in the room but that said it wasn't obvious (until you turn the air con off). Spotlessly clean. The bathroom was great and I loved the shower. Great desk. Wifi was a little slow but workable. Bit soulless in the public areas. Wonderful breakfast options. Despite not speaking a word of Mandarin the staff were very gracious and spoke enough English.

Good location next to HNA building, hotel is an upscale Chinese hotel. English is not spoken in the hotel just like it is not spoken in the whole province. Rest of China is no better either. So have a good translation app with you. Room was clean well appointed. Restaurant seemed expensive.
Local pool seemed to be visited by Chinese families. Service was good. ATM is in lobby. Located about 30 minutes from airport without traffic. Elevators work well.

Invited to attend a conference, spacious and great lobby. Guest rooms are spacious and seem renovated and well maintained. Shower is big but without bath tap. I love the balcony and possibility to open the door for fresh air, as the room was stuffy. The pool is big but lockers are tiny and not cleaned. You need a swim cap if you want to use the outdoor pool. Ordered a chef salad and hamburger at the Cafe - the most terrible burger I ever had ( the meat seemed to be rotten ). Don't order WESTERN FOOD, Room service the same .. The steak comes with white rice and no bread. Ordered a glass of wine, but service asked me to buy a bottle. Overall good hotel but not 5 star.
