Was here on business, 2 nights stay. The hotel overall like most things in China is majestic, huge, larger than life ... and I like it.
The location isn’t great, but you could get around easily, so I don’t really consider it a real hindrance. For those into running, there’s ample place by the river. Quiet too.
Now for some negatives. I ordered room service, had no currency and offered to pay via credit card. Was told they could only swipe local cards in room and would need to go down to reception to pay - the only place where international cards could be swiped.
Finally, the breakfast isn’t great and could do with some improvement. Needs more western options in my view.
Overall, though, it was a good stay.

On arrival the hotel lobby looks very grand and was quickly shown the way to the Marriott Bonvoy check in in the lounge. The staff ensured that we get some refreshments while checking us in as we have a few rooms. First impression is that service is prompt but the spread at the lounge during cocktail hours did not appeal to me.
Due to my membership status, was given a suite room which is grand but somehow I felt the ventilation in the room not good. The walkway to the room is also rather oddly designed. Room wise I would say it is above average but what I felt was rather not good are 2 points, there are 2 toilets in the room which is usual for suite but one of that is kind of hidden behind a nicely designed mirror! the other point is that the sound system of the TV is rather complicated (maybe it is me) and that for 2 sets of TV, I found only 1 remote and I was not able to use the remote on the TV in my room.
Breakfast is very good with a good spread but again the design of the restaurant made it a challenge to navigate your way through the food.
One other plus point is the pool which is decent length (my guess is 30m ) and it also comes with an outdoor pool.

This is a five-star hotel. I have stayed in many hotels, but I have never had such a delicious breakfast in other hotels. This does not seem to be very important, but when you travel in China the number of times is like mine After so many times, you will feel that a delicious breakfast is simply invaluable! Delicious bread, fresh fruit, bacon, eggs, Chinese food and good coffee. The staff of this hotel are the most well-trained and enthusiastic I have ever encountered.

Ridiculously bad service!! Not a place I would recommend, especially for treating clients and business purpose. This is not a budget hotel but freaking Sheraton! I cannot believe what I experienced.
At fiery, staff are quite friendly. However, interesting story comes... we went into our assigned room, cleaning lady was there and asked us to wait. She called the front desk to arrange another room for us, so we asked if we should go to front desk to collect our keys. She said no. After a few minutes, she said we need to go down to collect the keys, so we went, and queue (I thought it’s normal for us to be served when next counter staff is ready, obviously no one was aware and available.)
We then waited for a while, then one of her staff seemed to be looking for someone with a set of keys in her hand, so I showed interest and asked. Then I got my new keys. This was not the most “exciting” incident, next episode was. We then checked in to the new room, got changed and be ready to hit the pool. All of a sudden, our door was opened! Someone has a card and able to open our hotel room door!!!! Luckily, we were done changing!! This is absolutely unacceptable!! Poor guests felt so sorry about the incident, and we don’t blame them.
One more ridiculous thing happened after dinner. So we went with another pair of friends, he needed a shave (which should be available in the room but not). So we went to front desk to ask, front desk staff saw the room key, asked the room number and asked him to provide extra personal information. He was only asked for a freaking shave!! And the front desk staff ultimately sending someone to bring it up to the room, what’s the point of asking personal information?!
Then we asked for wifi access, we were telling her there was a problem. After a few information exchanged, the staff raised her voice!! A Sheraton hotel staff raised her voice! In a five star hotel! In the end, it was their unprofessional service and sloppy work and mixed up room information and assignment that contributed to the WiFi issue.
This cannot be the standard of a five star hotel like Sheraton. This is absolutely unacceptable. If this is the true Sheraton, the hotel has went downhill tremendously!

Fabulous decor and furnishings…. But no currency exchange, no western food available. Zhuhai was like a ghost town, roads, buildings, shopping centres either closed or desolate. Could see Macoa in near vision and was so disappointed to be here. Don’t forget you cannot travel here from Hong Kong without a visa. Also realise if you’re thinking this is a bargain compared to Macao prices that despite being so close it’s another country so need to go through immigration to travel back and forth. I can only praise John Liu on concierge who if I could rate I would give 1000/10. This man is a credit to the hotel and made our stay.

Sheraton Zhuhai is the best hotel I stayed in Zhuhai comparing with all international 5 stars hotels in Zhuhai . Even if I have chance to choose Sheraton or her sis hotel St Regis, I would definitely choose Sheraton by its awesome hospitality , value of pricing, dining services, customer relationships . It’s deserve to be mentioned that the management group apparently knows what buz & leisure customers really want. There were two staffs in the hotel I have to appreciate. GRAY & WINNIE in the front desk. They were very professional and catered to my every need. Everything has surpassed all my expectations.

Rooms are modern with all key amentities needed. The Club lounge offers a decent spread (but only in the evening). Breakfast is plentiful and of good quality, although spread out over a large area. Hotel can be recommended (if you do not need to stay downtown in Zhuhai). However, the service feels rather transactional - an area to improve.

Although the hotel has a nice facade however upon entering the lobby I was automatically welcomed by a dull atmosphere coming from the lobby lounge, the architecture was nice but it was not balanced light up. The condition of the furnitures in room were not upkeep, off thread sofa, over time stained bathroom.
The food & beverage offerings at the Feast Restaurant were low far beyond my expectations. I know it’s was a busy restaurant but we were not being greeted and escorted to table during the time we were there. We have to look for our own table where a table tag places on the table to indicate it’s availability or occupied.
The quality of fruits display on the buffet table was relatively low in quality. Some fruits were oxidized, buffet wares were not cleaned, empty chafing dish waiting to be replenished, wrong food tag to name a few. I told the supervisor on duty that the some of the food tag placed on the buffet table was irrelevant to the food displayed, example the congee area, one of the congee stated salted pork bone congee, in fact it was sliced fish fillet congee, in the event if I have allergy to seafood then I’m screwed. Staff removed the food tag and did not have it replaced and blamed the kitchen for not informing. And asked if she could changed for me …. And f I insisted the pork bone congee can she get it for me ?????
Staff behavior when announcing last call for buffet was not acceptable as well, the tone of voice seems to chasing us away.
During my stay the only thing that captured my attention was the view and only the view.
We went up to the 18 floor exec lounge to check out the place but was not being greeted with a smile, the lady seated at the desk simply asked us to mention our room number that’s it … don’t even escort or introduce the lounge facilities etc… staff basically has zero interaction & connection with guests. How to build a lasting connection between guest if the staff behavior at such ????

I need to say, first of all, this is a great hotel. The room was a good size and the bed was super comfortable. They even upgraded my room to have a sea view. Service was friendly and prompt. They had a good size indoor pool and the steam room and sauna was a nice touch. The reason I have given it three stars and a poor review is the club lounge access. It was crowded and I had to wait a while for the table. The food was extremely limited in choice and of poor quality. I genuinely have had better school dinners. The alcohol was self serve but there was no coke on offer and bourbon would have allowed for a better selection. It also felt cheap in there and more like a Holiday Inn. I expect better from a Sheraton.

I had an amazing stay here during my short business trip in Zhuhai. All of the staff was friendly and accommodating. The customer service is top notch. Jennet is just amazing and make me felt like home here in Sheraton . If you are coming here for vacation or having a business meeting, you sure won’t be disappointed. Being platinum member, I was lucky enough to have upgrade to one of the top suites. The room has great view of Macau. Last but not least the breakfast buffet is one of the best buffet I ever had in Sheraton.
