The pool area is lovely. There is also a pool table, volleyball area and football area. If was in a good location, only 5ish minutes walk from pub street and they offer 50c draft beers 😊 The shower was nice and hot and our room was really big.

Just left this place this morning after the 4 night stay. Staff are excellent very friendly, good pool, excellent pool bar. They have a pool table and tour desk at the hotel. Our room was spotless, huge bed, great bathroom
With very hot water, shower is one of the best wev had in any hotel wev ever stayed in and wev stayed in all sorts of hotels and guest houses in Asia. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here the location is great they even picked us up for free from thw airport. We booked a tour with them to the temples and our onward bus ticket to phnom penh. Absolutely no problems with anything here. If you are coming to siem reap I would definitely recommend this place 👌. We payed 60 usd for a standard double room with Aircon for 4 nights.

My husband and I spend many European winters at Garden Village, about 4 months a year. We love the friendly staff, pool and bar area and the shady garden and gazebos where we enjoy our fresh coconuts in the morning and later meals from the restaurant. There are activities to keep you busy if you wish:
Volleyball, snooker, slackline and the recently opened upstairs gym\yoga center. I believe the soccor is being re-opened as well. The hotel organises many tours, airport transfers, bus tickets to other destinations, passport extensions and attending activities like cooking classes, just ask at the front desk. Room cleaning\ toilet paper is on demand, just ask and leave your key at the front desk as well.
Hope you enjoy the Guesthouse as much as we do.

We booked a budget room which was good for its price. There was hot water (rare for luw budget accomodation in Cambodia), the location was just perfect, next to everything but not on the noisy places around pub street, but still in walking distance from them. The swimming pool was the best place to spend the hot and humid midday hours. The best thing is the owners who always have a big smile and make you feel like home and are always willing to help with anything you ask. As the place was closed for a long time, it still needs some work to be done to go back to its normal condition but still it was the best low budget accomodation in SR (where we stayed for 1 month so we had a good idea on what was on offer).

Hi Danaip, thank you for your great review of Garden Village Guesthouse! Since reopening in November, we have worked very hard to make sure our guests will be comfortable and happy in our rooms! The pandemic was difficult for many local businesses, but we're happy to be open again and showing guests all that this great town has to offer! It makes me so happy to hear that you found our staff, and me the owner, friendly- we've always tried to make our guesthouse feel like a 'home away from home'. We look forward to welcoming you back again, we'll be beginning our relaxing Sunday pool parties soon too!

Not quite sure where that week went,
But I enjoyed it.
A mixed International crowd, young backpackers, volunteers, and long term expats .
Friendly crowd, cheap beer, slack line with instructions, futball, smoke friendly, pool,
Pool table and did I mention, cheap beer.

But, then again
Cambodia.

If you seek a high thread count and no mosquitos, look elsewhere, but for $9 with a private bathroom, it works.

Very good service. The hotel is excellent, nice people, food is so delicious, really recommend anyone who comes to Siem Reap to stay at this hotel. Especially the hotel’s Tuk Tuk driver and it’s service made this trip one of the best ever taking us to temples and restaurants.

We stayed here for almost a week and really loved our stay.
Super cheap, clean rooms, hot water, nice staff, nice pool.
They also provide towels + the menu is good.
AC gets very cold at night.

The location is great, it's about 10 minutes from the central market and pub street and there's a big store just down the street.

The location is perfect. Little walking distance to the centre, many food places, markets, the bar street. The hostel itself has a everything you need: comfy beds, an awesome pool area, a bar, a restaurant and the price is very cheap. Also the employee Leng was the very best tour guide!! He drove us all over the temples and knew everything about it. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Garden Village is a home away from home, with a variety of rooms to stay, a huge menu or western and khmer cuisine to choose from. Best part of the day is happy hour by the pool ! Around that same time there is football/ volleyball activities.
Very close to the temples and the main bustling pub Street!

My favorite place in Cambodia, can't wait to go back and see everyone !
