One of the best experiences I have had while traveling with our 4 y/o daughter. Our family of (2) adult, (1) child were visiting Dubai with another family with same number of children. The Rove Downtown exceeded every expectation we had, and it was the perfect location to explore Dubai. Arriving mid-morning from our travels in Muscat, we opted in for the early bird check-in at 10AM. Absolutely amazing that they can offer this for $20 extra, and perfect for families to arrive and start immediately exploring.
The staff was extremely helpful and kind. I want to recognize Mohammad Abbas from housekeeping who went above and beyond during our 4-night stay. On two different occasions I saw him in the hallway before he arrived to our room. He was eager to assist with any request we had - from extra coffee packets, taking our trash, or refreshing our toiletry items. Mohammad was always smiling and appreciative of us keeping the housekeeping needs to a minimum during our stay. I appreciated all he did for us! From the front desk to the 24/7 storefront and staff of TGI Fridays, this really was one of the most welcoming groups of employees all under one roof.
For those traveling with small families, we would highly recommend the Burj facing rooms. Not only is it a beautiful sight during the daylight hours, but the nighttime LED display is amazing for littles to watch from the comforts of your room. We loved the fold-out sleeper chair, it was the perfect size for our daughter and would be comfortable for an adult if needed. While the room is smaller compared to western style hotels, we found everything needed and well appointed.
Highlights of the hotel include the pool with it's gorgeous backdrop of the Burj, breakfast offerings from TGI Fridays (also equally great dinner apps) and the proximity to the Dubai Mall. This is an easy 10-15 minute walk, and we highly recommend using the entry from the elevated skyway and smaller attached mall. Ask the front desk for directions, it's not clearly marked the first time.
I can see us easily returning to the Rove Downtown on future visits to this amazing city. The staff, the rooms, and its location make this an easy decision to say it is one of the best family friendly hotels in Dubai. For our fellow Americans, if you like that Nashville-Austin vibe of welcoming and funky travel art decor, this will not disappoint. We love the Rove Downtown.

We loved our stay at Rove, the staff are great and incredibly helpful especially Nicholas Hanna who checked us in & gave us great tips about Dubai that made our trip different than all of our trips to Dubai. 10/10 experience all around, the bathroom was clean but the rooms were smaller than I imagined not a big deal though. If I would change a thing, I’d change the sink as the faucet was short and placed away from the sink so my hands (though smaller than the average female adult hands) kept hitting the sink…we were three ladies and we all had this issue. The location is great, and taxis are almost always available, and if not just use Bolt or Careem (not Uber though, it’s expensive for no reason at all though it has the same riders or Careem and Bolt 😅)

The location is a 10 minute walk from the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa, the hotel store and food atations are excellent, the gym and pool are brilliant and worth spending time within, Travel Saga is an excellent tourism experience company with a very helpful workforce.

Hotel without luxuries but with everything you need for a good stay in Dubai. Very good located very close to Dubai Mall and Buj Kalifa. Recent two night stay on a 36 hour Dubai stopover for my family of five.
We asked for connecting rooms prior to arrival and got them (connecting door was opened with a quick call to reception). Our rooms had spectacular views of the Burj Kalifa and Dubai Mall. This is a well located place to stay in downtown Dubai. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are on the small side but the beds are comfortable. There is an overwhelming odor of cleaning products more appropriate to a hospital rather than a hotel but you get used to it.
The hotel provides a complementary shuttle service, and apparently you can walk to the Dubai Mall. But, it’s a walk crossing major roads, and we felt safer taking a taxi at night.
The lobby (with PS5) was active at all times and the 24 hour mini-mart and gym were well appreciated. The attached Fridays restaurant was convenient for a late evening arrival and the included breakfast was decent. We did not make it the pool, but it looked lovely.
Still, it was a fairly expensive hotel with no luxury flourishes, so keep that in mind.

We stayed here for NYE, and it was the best choice to see the fireworks hassle-free. This little hotel is close to Burj Khalifa, and we upgraded our stay to a Burj Khalifa view for a fair price. It was fantastic for NYE. The hotel is very clean, with 24/7 cleaning services, and the staff is friendly and attentive to small details. For a 3-star hotel, it is excellent.
The amenities are top-notch, including the pool, a small supermarket in the lobby, a tech corner for kids, a spacious lobby with couches to relax, and a laundry corner.
Dubai Mall is just a 10-minute walk away.
The room wasn’t big, but it was sufficient for a 3-night stay. All the essentials were provided. The bed and blanket were very comfortable, which my wife greatly appreciated.

The only suggestion would be to add more closet space for clothes.
Also, getting NYE information from the hotel was a bit confusing. They seemed more focused on promoting dinner at TGI Fridays than simply answering our questions. Located very close to the Burj Khalifa, it has a very good location to be in the epicenter of the city at an average distance from the points of interest of this immense city (it must be taken into account that between the souks and the Palm Jumeirah there are 35 km. )
