Not exactly new as it is located at the so called "old dubai" but the rooms are big and confortable. The employees are courteous and helpful. It has a pool, gym and sauna for the guests to enjoy. The downside is that it only opens at 8:30 in the morning. It is near restaurants that caters to international tastes and bargain shops. The price is amazingly suited to tourists.

4 adults and 2 children travelling to Dubai for a wedding. We stayed here because of the reviews and location. Our initial 3 bed apartment was good but had a lingering smell so we requested a new room. The new room was more spacious and decor much better. Really pleased with the room on the 6th floor. Staff are all excellent. Mr Rafiq and Mr Mohamed Altaf always available and extremely helpful. Great service by the whole team from reception to house keeping. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

I stayed in this hotel property many times before in the past and this is nothing close to what I experienced this time and I am still in shock.

We booked 14 days stay in this hotel and arrived after midnight and were forced pay extra night even tho we informed the hotel about early check-in.

This new so called management all they care about is money and zero customers support!

During 14 days stay they changed our bedsheets once!!!

We begged them daily bring water to our room.

We wanted shift to 2 bedroom apartment for one day and experienced worst experience ever which costed us that all our 20kg of chocolate we brought with us melted in lobby because the management kept our bags in lobby entrance in heat waiting for us pay their difference with 90 AED!!!! before letting our luggage to be shifted to the room!

I would suggest all travelers stay away from this hotel property not only did we waste our money, rude management, dirty rooms and zero customers support!

I really hope the hotel owner of this property can read this and take immediate actions because to be honest reputation is everything in business and me personally as an business owner would never ever recommend this property to anyone after how we were treated during our stay.

We checked in yesterday at ECH to treat ourselves for a 4* hotel and paid double after spending 7 night in a 3* hotel. Sadly, the only 4* treatment we've received the solid firm uncomfortable mattress, back pain and sleepless nights for a higher price. What a horrible way to end our amazing holiday to Dubai this way. On the first night, I had to visit the manager at 2 am, but I've been asked to wait until 10 am to speak to the duty manager. After clock watching till 10 am I spoke to the duty manager who then asked the matters to be changed and a double topper to be added on, Unfortunately, this too didn't help the situation bc the matters is beyond the firm and the toppers release heat. Here I am at midnight tossing and turning waiting for another 10 am to come. I do hope the duty manager will resolve this problem or refund our payment for the rest of our stay and we will be more than happy to go back to the 3* hotel which was heaven in all aspects, especially the most comfortable mattress & bed sheet after all what matters to guests in the hotel is a comfortable bed and a peaceful sleep. Having said that, the concierge, securities and for man are all very friendly and helpful.

I checked in very late. It was Friday early morning and the room was booked from last night. The behaviour of the Reception staff was not at all acceptable. He was rude and reluctant to do his job. I told him that we are a group of friends and we r 6 people and we will pay individually by different card which he refused to do and said his system will not allow it. This hotel is using Opera PMS which very much allow to pay by any number of card you want. Its just the person need to do 2 minutes extra job to calculate the amount and post manually by different cards which here this guy clearly didn't want to do.And sorry to say but he was not at all polite.

Plus this hotel doesn't provide water bottles in their apartment. They will not provide you room slipperrs as well. If you ask they will say that its due to the corona virus which is really a lie as All the hotels provide that. Maybe they just want to save the cost..Anyways.

Incredible value for money! There’s a lot of amenities at the hotel which make it great. Whilst the room was satisfactory, the staff on the other hand were INCREDIBLE! So attentive and helpful. Special thanks to Abbas and Mohamed Altaf! Definitely would recommend

I go to UAE a lot with work, I tried to keep the cost down and therefore booked this hotel as the rate was cheap and it looked OK.
I can sleep in almost any sort of bed but this one was so uncomfortable so I could not fall a sleep, not only that, as I was 2 rooms away from the lift I heard the ringing noise from the lift every time it stopped to pick up people on any floor its really loud and as the hotel is kind of found, the noise bounces around. Around 4 - 5 AM they start every morning to play some sort of classical music in the lobby area. This music is so loud so it seams like you have full orchestra in your room,.
One evening I was out with friends and got back around 11PM to my room, got ready and got in to bed, around 01AM I hear that someone is trying to open my door, I got so scared and was about to go to the desk to use the phone to call reception when the phone started ringing. At this point the person outside had stopped trying to open my door. The person ringing in the phone was hotel security stating that they know I had a man in my room and that I will now suffer the consciences . Being n alone woman in the Middle East I got terrified and explained that I did not have anyone in my room and that they can come and check and in fact someone just tried to come in to my room. The person responded that they had cameras and they did have proof and did not need to come to my room. I asked them to check the cameras again. He said he would and would call me back after, 15 min passed I still had not heard anything I called them and I got to speak to the security manager who apologised and aid he knew I was right and he said I could relax now. The day before I left I had do not disturb sign on my door in the morning as I needed some sleep ( or at least try to as I spend 4 nights with very little sleep) Then housekeeping called me to ask if I did not want my room cleaned, So they woke me up. When I left I put my rather expensive top and shorts on top of the bed when I came back in the late afternoon my top was gone. I called housekeeping but was told my cleaner had gone home, they advised I had to ask reception staff , I did this and they said they would get back to me the next day. My flight was at 08.00 in the morning so I left my email etc with them. No replies about my tops. I also wrote to the hotel to make a complaint about all of this but I had no reply. What ever you do, don't use this hotel, especially if you are a woman

My husband and I stayed at the Concord Hotel in May 2012. The staff were arguing with another customer at the desk on our arrival. The receptionist then asked to keep our passports at the desk to copy them and he would give them back to us later, we insisted on having them back straight away which he was unhappy with. We paid for the hotel in advance on the net and were asked for our credit card on arrival at the hotel for security reasons. I checked my bank on return and noticed that AU$40 had been charged to the credit card (we had not purchased anything from this hotel). I emailed the hotel and have yet to hear from them, who knows where my money is? If you want to keep your money, don't stay here.

Well, we travelled from India and pre-booked it from an Indian travel portal (make my trip). Paid the full amount but were shocked when we're denied check in and was forced to pay almost 50% more, over and above the booking amount. Hotel authority simply refused to check my booking voucher where it was written that nothing to be paid at the hotel.Back in India, taking make my trip to court and hopefully will get justice. But I feel the reputation of this hotel will suffer because of this.

We paid 200 AED though it was never mentioned while making booking through Make my trip. Don't book this hotel through Make my trip as they don't honour mmt confirmation voucher and may demand substantial extra amount
