We stayed at the JW for 8 nights and were overall very happy with the hotel. We booked 2 rooms, each with an optional upgrade if available. The hotel was fully booked when we arrived and I didn't have a room upgrade. But the very next day I got another room and was able to move straight away. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, and I was even able to sleep in the beds (I'm very sensitive to mattresses and pillows). The staff worked tirelessly, were always extremely friendly and Asanji and Vincent prepared the room perfectly. The only thing we didn't like so much was the somewhat chaotic breakfast. Despite good coordination, "check-in" every morning was a bit cumbersome because you had to enter your details by hand and sign each time (instead of simply giving the room number and being checked off digitally). The breakfast room on the first floor was also very noisy and the quickest way to get your coffee was to get it yourself (but: the staff never forgets you, even if it takes longer). What I was very happy about was that there was a small gluten-free menu and vegan milk alternatives. Overall, the selection is gigantic and I was wondering who would eat it all ;). Unfortunately, one day the breakfast room was so crowded that we had to move to a restaurant on the 6th floor. I was very frustrated here, we only got coffee after asking four times and I couldn't find anything to eat (I was given gluten-free sliced bread wrapped in plastic when I asked), whereupon we moved back to the first floor and put up with the wait there have taken. The location of the hotel is good because it is very central, the metro is nearby and there is a daily shuttle bus to the mall. In addition, the taxis are on standby in front of the hotel so that you can always get away. However, you are surrounded by the typical Dubai skyscrapers and a lot of traffic, and if you prefer a quieter location (like me), you should stay somewhere else. The JW is a great hotel and its 5 stars and worth the price, especially for the smooth service and facilities. Clear recommendation for the hotel, but the location wasn't ideal for me personally.

This place is UNREAL!
This is the second time we have stayed in Dubai (third time in the Middle East) and we chose this hotel as it was in a convenient location.

The hotel is absolutely huge and incredibly high, with two towers of 72 floors each.

They are able to cater for a huge number of people and the options are breakfast are vast including the biggest range of dairy and gluten free items I have ever seen (and I am a very seasoned traveller). There are all types of milk available in the best brands such as soya, almond, coconut and oat.

The hotel pool is lovely and has a bar which serves alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks including Starbucks. I don’t drink alcohol and love a cup of English breakfast tea which I was able to get with a good supply of oat milk. There is a really cute inside garden and a spa. Massages are available at an additional cost.

The downstairs bar area in tower 1 is huge and there are a few restaurants to choose from too including a sports bar. They take allergies very seriously (which is great) and are very honest about foods which are cooked in gluten - this is quite rare as I’ve found other places are not as honest and I end up unwell.

The staff cannot do enough for you - they will get you anything you need and always with a smile.

Despite this being a non-Christian country, the hotel went above and beyond to make this a Christmas themed break with decorations, singers etc, it was just beautiful.

All parking is free but it is valet parking. It can get busy so leave plenty of time. This hotel has some incredible cars and high profile visits, be prepared to be wowed!

Location is great if you have a car, do visit the light up bridge which is a short walk. There is also a new area being built with restaurants etc nearby which looks very plush.

The rooms are quiet as a mouse. I’m very triggered by noise in the night and I wasn’t woken once.

We had interconnecting rooms for ourselves and our two children which was very good.

Rooms are huge and the bathrooms have a shower and massive bath. Robes are also provided and there is a hairdryer, fridge, coffee/tea facilities and iron.

Is it expensive here - yes. But it’s not outside of the comparative costs at other hotels nearby, and let’s face it, when in Dubai you need to come along not worrying about budget.

I would definately visit again!

For a hotel that has 1600 rooms, JW Marriott Dubai did not disappoint in the service department. As soon as we arrived at the property, valet swiftly opened our doors, unloaded our luggage, provided claim ticket, and escorted us straight to the elite check-in counter. The check-in staff seemed really prepared for our arrival, from recognizing our names, knowing we came from Sheraton Grand, to highlighting our upgrade to the Deluxe Corner Suite with a view to the Burj, and congratulating on our anniversary, elite status, plus the details of the facilities at the hotel, the entire check-in process showed the property is a very well oiled machine in terms of its top notch service.

We were absolutely floored when we checked into our room. Needless to say, the beautiful towel arts, flower petals, and a prepared bubble bath in the luxurious suite already went beyond our expectation, but what blew us away was on the table in the living room, accompanying the chocolates and macaroon was a custom made card, with a photo of us. The team at JW coordinated with our previous stay at the Singapore St. Regis and obtained our photo to put up this surprise for us. In addition to all these extravagance, the team also included a nice JW braided reusable bag on the side.

The club lounge's evening service had amazing food throughout our stay. I loved the laksa from the hot station one night, but the chicken tenders, satay beef, chicken quesadilla and shawarma are all great tasting. Staff at the lounge are very attentive, with the managers personally come over to thank us for our loyalty with Marriott. Furthermore, on our last day, the staff in the lounge collectively brought us another tiramisu cake to enjoy, and congratulated on our anniversary with a signed card.

JW Marriott Dubai stood out amongst all of our recent hotel stays with its over the top service, great food in the club lounge, and beautiful rooms. I cannot recommend this hotel more.

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The room was well appointed, the concierge people were very helpful, the restaurants we dined at (Tong Thai and Positano) were excellent and the entire staff was top shelf. The executive lounge team was particularly friendly and helpful. We accessed the lounge frequently for snacks and meals and everyone was always very attentive. Our first interaction on checkin with Sayooj was smooth and very welcoming. A special shout out to Kashish who did a great job with the food and Tanya who made sure our needs were met particularly upon departure. JW Marriott hotels have consistently exceeded our expectations and this stay was no exception.

We stayed in the Hotel for 3 Nights, beginning of August, stopping over on our way back home from our summer vacation.
We were taken care of by Deki at the reception, who organised us two rooms next to each other, as we were travelling with our kids. She managed upgrade one Room to a Suite and moved us from 9th to 33rd floor - which was a special wish from our kids. The higher the better.
Deki also arranged a fruit basket for us.

We had breakfast included and enjoyed the variety of offered dishes, ranging from American / European food over Indian Dishes to Japanese meals.
One day we went a bit later for breakfast and were asked if we would be OK having the breakfast on the 6th floor, since there was a (short) queue at the main restaurant on the first floor. Also on the 6th floor - almost - all offerings were there.

The rooms were well sized, modern and clean.
The Pool area was not very crowded and from there you have a nice view up the two towers of the hotel. As an interesting add-on we could also observe the team while cleaning the windows of the tower.

From the Hotel you have a Shuttle bus to the Dubai Mall and back, on a regular schedule. The driver was very helpful and always trying to find some space even if the bus was seemingly full already. But he was also very strict in not allowing further people in, once there were really no seats available anymore.

Due to the short stay we did not use any other of the many facilities of the hotel.

The building is impressive. The reception at 1:00 a.m. was very friendly, accommodating and extremely helpful. Neha at the reception was particularly helpful.
The room on the 61st floor was extremely nice, large and equipped with everything you need. The personal care products were of very high quality.
Room cleaning, turndown service and the replenishment of the products was excellent.
Breakfast and half board are excellent, plentiful and of high quality. The soft drinks are included. Nynett in particular excelled here with extremely attentive service.
The pool is sufficient and pleasant for cooling off. The service at the loungers is very good. There are enough towels and small water bottles are available in unlimited quantities. Mohan in particular stood out here with his attentive and helpful service.
Taxi or shuttle are a convenient way to get to everything.
All employees were extremely friendly and accommodating.
We have been visiting the Emirates for 15 years and can classify this hotel as a top hotel. If not the best.

Statement on the second stay at the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai.

The reception at midnight was great again. In advance we sent an e-mail to Mr Ashwin Ashok from the front desk and to get rooms on the highest possible floor. We also asked for connecting rooms. At check in everything was already as desired: 60. Floor, large rooms and everything prepared.

That's what I call service.

We had half board and we have to say that those who do not use it miss out a lot. The service, especially from Siti , Swapnil and Gowtham was outstanding. The choice of food, both at breakfast and dinner, is indescribably large and of very high quality.

The perfect service continues by the pool. Ample sunbeds and umbrellas as well as free water bottles. Adam and Yousuf are particularly noteworthy here.

Room service was great on our last stay, but this time the service was sensational. The housekeeper Anant saw every detail: whether shower room, shampoo, soap, ballpoint pen, notepad, mouthwash, bathrobe, etc. He saw that something needs to be renewed and replaced it. The rooms were in top condition every day. In the evening the turndown service came and asked for wishes and brought daily dates in chocolate as a bedtime greeting.

At the reception I would like to highlight Ashwin Ashok and Jahangir Ahmad Dar. From late checkout to printing our boarding passes, everything was done promptly. Just great service.

We will also come back a third time!

My Family and I just returned from a bucket-list trip to Dubai. Prior to my stay I researched what seems like every hotel in Dubai and decided on the JW Marriot Marquis. From the moment we stepped through the doorway, our stay at the JW was an absolute delight. The staff's friendliness was unparalleled, truly making us feel welcome and comfortable.

A special shout-out needs to go to Tanya and her wonderful team in the executive lounge on the 37th floor. They were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed at each visit.

Within a couple of days, the entire staff at the executive lounge knew me by name and anticipated my needs. My green apple juice magically appeared before I even uttered a request, and Tanya, with her warm welcome each evening, listened to my day's adventures and offered personalized recommendations for local exploration.

Tanya's and the staff genuine warmth and professionalism shone through.

The rest of the staff followed suit – from the helpful concierge who patiently answered our endless questions to the housekeeping team who kept our room sparkling clean. Every interaction was genuine and friendly.

This was truly and remarkable stay at an absolutely beautiful hotel with some of the best staff I've ever encountered.

We will be back as I promise.

Normally we would give it 4*. However, the hotel offered us a very good home during the rain storm in April 2024 and the days after. We were glad that we had booked this hotel.

Otherwise, you have to know that the hotel is very large. Despite this (or perhaps because of this) everything runs very professionally, you could almost say "like clockwork".

A few small things could be improved: Although housekeeping always did a great job, some things in the room were not replenished. At breakfast, cups were sometimes missing or the buffet was not replenished quickly enough. At dinner, the service at the table was sometimes quite slow and not very attentive. Perhaps the otherwise very nice Executive Lounge could be made a little more "exclusive". Especially when it comes to the selection of food and drinks.

We can definitely recommend the hotel. However, you should pay attention to the price. It is not exactly cheap and you can often get something almost equivalent or even some higher quality hotels for less money.
