Stayed at the Fairmont Dubai for one night as an ALL Gold on an Accor Preferred Hera rate. I was accommodated in an upgraded junior suite. The room I was assigned was beautifully appointed and functional. I appreciated the large windows which allowed for significant natural light to enter. The hotel met all brand standards, including a tasty welcome snack of dates with almond bits. The location of the Fairmont was also excellent, with doorstep connectivity to the Dubai Metro’s WTC station. I would pick this location over hotels closer to the Burj/Mall just for the ease of access to transportation. There was a minor hiccup with the application of the hotel credit that came with the rate. While I had arranged a spa session with the hotel beforehand and mentioned plans to use the credit both via email and at check-in, I was informed belatedly that the credit would not apply to the spa as it was not run by the hotel. By the time this was the case, there was no practical way for me to utilise the credit. While the front desk agents were not empowered to resolve the issue, I was pleased that Guest Experience Ambassador Kate heard me out and made things right. She arranged for the credit to the honoured. This allowed me to complete this stay on a positive note, barring which this would likely be a 2/3* review lamenting how the hotel has misleading practices. Kate is a credit to the hotel, and I’m prepared to return and recommend the Fairmont largely due to her hospitality.

The Furnitures and decorative things at this hotel were incredibly, thank you Javed from Front office manager for welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. Special thanks to Housekeeping team who made a towel art at turndown time, We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning and loved the convenient location close to major attractions." I have been at Fairmont in Dubai first time about 20 yrs ago and it was a top quality hotel in the city. After so long time it lost several positions in the ranking. Despite the duty manager Amer Hanna Slibi did his best to accommodate all problems, there is a lack of accuracy in room cleaning - I have been there 8 days and that is a valid sample - two times forget to refill the towels, dis not change bed linen for all my stay. The food I experienced with in room dining was awful, when you have some drink at pool you must pay upfront because they say outsourcing so nothing to deal with your hotel bill…..quite often you queue at breakfast…..uhmmm with so extensive hotel offer in Dubai would make sense to come back at Fairmont next time?

Rooms are big and spacious, and the location of the hotel is very convenient. But that's the only good thing about it. I would highly recommended your staff to learn basics of hospitality and how to treat the guests. I would have to request so many times for simple service like room cleaning and they would still do such a terrible job. At one point I just gave up and stopped requesting. On the last day before checkout, I requested for a simple bathroom cleaning since i wanted to take a bath before leaving for my trip onwards and the guy comes and just replaced the towels and calls it a day. I asked him to clean the bathroom and he gives me a weird look as if I asked him his kidney. I get it I am checking out in an hour but that doesn't mean you don't clean the bathroom and I am forced to take a bath in a dirty bathtub. Then I asked for a porter for checkout and despite waiting for 30 min, no one came and had to drag down my luggage by myself because my time is important. I don't have all day to wait for just to get my luggage to lobby. I can go on and on. Breakfast was so bland and terrible, and even something like waffles would take them more than half an hour to make. Spread was very limited.
Overall, very disappointing end to our trip. Had high expectations from Fairmont since it's the luxury chain of Accor but it was so bad that I am not going to consider it ever again if I want to go for luxury. Folks over at Marriott know and do it better.

This hotel is in a perfect location for Sheikh Zayed Road, with the World Trade Centre Metro Station directly outside the hotel. The Metro can take virtually take you anywhere in Dubai and at a low cost. Sheikh Zayed Road has cafes, restaurants, global food chains and other hotels. The hotel is not far from the Frame, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall and Fountain and other major attractions.
The staff were really helpful and friendly, with a shout out to Teddy and Gerald on the Concierge Team and Ehab on the Reception Team.
Breakfast was buffet style which was a surprise as mask wearing is still mandatory. I arrived at breakfast at 6.30 am to avoid people coughing over food and cross contamination from touching food instead of the receptacles provided.
Food and drink choices were varied and of a high quality, but a la Carte would be the best option as it prevents waste and cross contamination.
The hotel has two pools one sunrise and one sunset. The former closes at 12pm and becomes a restaurant in the evening. There are great views of the city from the sunrise pool, which opens at 7.30am.
The suites were very spacious, contemporary and clean. If you require a turn down service, you have to request it. Daily free water is provided by the hotel.
If you want to take a taxi from the hotel, the cream coloured ones are the cheapest as they are metered.
I thoroughly recommend this hotel for your stay in Dubai as other hotels are charging more for their beach location, where there's very little to do.

as head of marketing, we choose Fairmont for our top-notch event because of the reputation, but when we started coordinating with Cindy Capili, we got the feeling of being partners, Fairmont team shows that they are part of the progress, not just service provider, on-call, available all the time, reasonable prices, a value that exceeds the price.
Event attendees were high C level, and the event needs high tech support, the technical team was always there to support as partners. coffee breaks were high value, and the dinner was high value too.
another big star goes to the location of the hotel, at the main high way in Dubai (shaikh Zayed road), 2 minutes walking distance from the DWTC metro station, and 10 minutes walking distance from the world trade center.
Fairmont Hotel will be my first choice for events and staying, I highly recommend this hotel with this team.

Clean and modern hotel with extremely helpful staff. Great service at check in and check out. At check in I even received a complimentary upgrade which was very much welcomed at midnight. The room was always kept clean each day and the fixtures/finishes all felt almost new. Great location only being 5-10 mins from downtown and Dubai mall.

This hotel was perfect. Perfect location, perfect ambiance, perfect staff. Nothing bad to say! The service was above 5 star! Any time I am coming to Dubai I will come to Fairmont. The housekeeper Mandeep was so kind and diligent. The rooms were spotless, she always asked if we need anything every morning with a smile on her face.
