All of the staff here were amazing and they made my stay extra special!
If you have access to breakfast or the club, you’ll find the most patient and attentive staff.
We were here for 9 nights and every breakfast and club was bursting at the seams and there were a lot of rude guests, but the staff here handled everything with grace and a smile.
While the entire staff here was amazing, there were a few standouts.
When there wasn’t plant-based milk for coffee, Heba helped order soy milk for my partner because she is plant-based/vegan. We were pleasantly surprised she would go through the hassle for us and even let us know when it arrived.
When my partner couldn’t find plant-based food, Queenie came out with samosas and daal that were vegan and weren’t available in the main self-serve area.
Carol told her what she could eat and was super helpful when navigating the buffet. Carol was the warmest, most nurturing chef we’ve ever come across. She was very patient and was happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions in a way that felt like she truly cared about our well-being.
The service here was phenomenal.
It’s usually difficult for my partner to find plant-based milk for her coffee and good plant-based food when we stay in Hyatts or other hotels.
In some cases, they make it feel like a burden or we would simply get a “no” when we asked for these things.
However, the staff at Hyatt Regency Dubai went out of their way to get soy milk, prepare plant-based/vegan food, and also ask the chefs what was vegan to make sure she didn’t accidentally consume butter, ghee, or milk.
The service here was as good as any Park Hyatt, Alila, or Andaz I’ve ever stayed at.

Stayed here for a few days prior to joining a cruise, it is a lovely hotel and has the bonus of being very close to the cruise port terminal, in fact you can see it from the hotel. Check in was friendly and professional, our room on the 8th floor overlooked the swimming pool and Dubai creek with the many small local boats coming and going. Room itself was large, clean and had all the amenities you would require. We were on a B&B booking and the breakfast was a buffet service which was very good with plenty of varied choice. It's a large hotel and has a small shopping mall including ice rink attached to it, here there are a number of restaurants and bars within. The swimming pool area is large, pool was warm even in February, it was clean and had a good pool bar, however prices at the pool bar are expensive a bucket of cold beers (6 small bottles) and a pizza £65 !! But if you go to the Sports Bar in the mall or the hotel bar between 7 and 9 pm there is a happy hour which basically gives you two drinks for the price of one. O top of the hotel you will also find a revolving restaurant that gives you some great views around the area. The hotel is also in easy walking distance of the Dubai Creek including the Gold, Spice and Grand Souks. Another bonus is the hotel runs various shuttle services to places like the beach, Dubai Mall etc etc. All in a very nice hotel and one we would be happy to return to.

This is our hotel of choice when we stopover for a few days in Dubai. Although it is an older hotel it still has a classy feel and provides a high standard of accomodation, food/drink and facilities in close proximity to the airport, old Dubai, the Creek and souks. Guest rooms are spacious, immaculate with comfortable beds and very good storage. The bathrooms have shower and bath but are showing some signs of age : despite this they are well maintained with generous toiletries and towels. The club rooms are more expensive but include access to a private lounge and includes excellent breakfast, tea/coffee during the day and evening drinks and canapes. There is an iron and board in the guestroom which was useful. The high level rooms have very good views although recent development in the area has compromised the view towards the Burj Khalifa.

We booked to stay here 2 days before a cruise and chose a room with club facilities as we know how expensive Dubai can be for eating and drinking . We were delighted on arrival when we were upgraded to a corner suite of rooms. Fabulous and the views were tremendous. Everything in the room was of a very high quality and a huge bathroom, beautiful sofas in the lounge , extra toilet room and separate office area. The club facilities were excellent allowing us to have food and nice drinks on an evening. There are 2 pools a quiet one and a large one. The staff were all very attentive and any request was followed through. Cannot rate it high enough for the cost.

Bad customer service.. not at all 5 star standards. Starting from front security to travel desk to chef to room service , no one is trained on customer service. Travel desk person was mostly on breaks, so we could not book any of the services. Breakfast was delivered cold. when we complained, chef started arguing to prove us wrong. We had to call them to our room to prove that the breakfast and tea was delivered cold. This property is no way close to 5 star standards. Also, very far from all the tourist destinations.would not recommend.
Our bathroom was not cleaned properly and toiletries were not refilled during our stay. We had to manage with the left over toiletries that were give. On first day . This property is a joke.

We had booked two King Rooms with Sea View and Club Lounge access, Breakfast included. At check in we were told we have been allotted 'very nice rooms' but in fact that was NOT the truth. We were given lower floor in the back and to make things worse, major construction was going on not only in the hotel (swimming pool) but also a new Fly Over across the Main Highway. The room was NOT sound proof and we were disturbed early morning every single night we stayed there! The breakfast was not up to the 5 star standard and the 'The Kitchen' (Restaurant) staff was neither polite nor accommodating with service. The food quality of Room Service was extremely slow and the limited food menu was poor and tasteless. The food standard was 3 Star or less. The Hotel's location is also cut off from all major shopping malls and deluxe restaurants. One must drive at least 30 minutes distance to find anything reasonable to 5 Star quality. We have been staying at this hotel for the last 30 years! The standard has dropped to its lowest standard and convinced us never to visit this establishment again!

Very very Bad service. The staff is rude and disrespect. One has to haggle for basic stuff like tissue paper and toilet paper. Despite charging a bomb they don't give any service which should be provided by a hotel of Hyatt's repute. Had a very horrible and unpleasant stay. Total rip off and would not recommend it. For them room cleaning means clearing dustbin twice a week as they don’t clean properly happy share pictures of bad housekeeping with anyone also the staff at housekeeping is super rude and disrespectful tell you buy everything even toilet paper you have to buy . Internet also goes off and even electricity also goes off for entire day. The staff at reception is so bad they show you finger on asking questions about electricity and internet and threaten unfortunately we are still staying and getting harassed by them daily basis like latest we asked for two packets of sugar and their staff shouted and said we can’t give. Anyone who wants to know about this before getting ripped off by them please contact me and my wife at +919560019659 A cheap two star hotel in Bur Dubai would be more courteous respectful and pleasing then them so don’t get ripped off at all by Hyatt and Galleria residences together

This hotel provides excellent customer service. The check-in clerk was such a nice person. I was put at a higher floor level and requested If I was able to get a lower level and she made sure of that! For the first time at all the hotel brands from Marriott to Hilton to Hyatt, I requested some soap and towels and in less than 5 minutes I received it, That was truly amazing. The room service clerk ensured the food items I order was prepared very nicely on my table. Best high-quality room service food I ever tasted from any hotel brand. Highly recommend this hotel for outstanding customer service.

I booked 4 rooms with a confirmation by the hyatt team check in at 11am , but sadly we got the room at 1pm . Travelling with a 2 months old infant , after coming back from the pool , called for housekeeping, I was told off rudely by the house keeping that room can only be clean the next day , my request was only for 1 room which had a 2 months old baby . The food spread was pathetic and more to it the chef who was serving the food was absolutely a rude person , makes me feel I stayed for free and they were doing favors, I paid aed 1400 for 4 rooms and the treatment was just horrible , my money got wasted with this stay at hyatt Regency and more to it even after the email to hyatt , I did not even got an apology email back , really confused if hyatt has stooped so low from a 5star to a local star behavior , 0 hospitality and 0 food quality . We checked in here for 13 nights, got room #1620 on the 16th floor looking over the port rashid.
Friendly check in, not much info given, but it was 12pm ! Room had complimentary coffea and tea everyday, and bottle water as well, in room safe was also a plus. Complementary wifi was also good most of the time.
Room was a standard room, fridge was locked and yet they hold a amount of AED500 on the creditcard, dont know why ! But i guess standard procedure, also city tax is charged upon arrival.
We had breakfast incl. as well and you wont be disappointed, first there lots of it and secondly also aims of the vast segments of guests who comes here as well.
The servers here now those with the hotel uniform with the vest is hired by the hotel some of them was really bad ! And those who were wearing the brown uniform and had “no name tags” was all externs ! Most of them was from the Philippines now when it comes to simply “good manners and simple” good friendly service they “deliver” please tell them all that they are the difference of this restaurant (breakfast ) and hotel.
The pool area was a bit to small comepare to the rooms they had here, sunbeds wasnt enough thats for sure, also the amount of hours of sun isnt many so one gonna go the opposite on the balcony if you simply must have more sun.
The pool music was just terrible it was the same thing every single morning for the 13 days were here, and from original artist in the morning to like Indian tecno was just really bad music taste sorry but it was horrible.
Whats wrong with some lounge music during the day ? i mean most ppl that comes is families and not younsters ! Just a thought. The 2 lifegaurds was always helpful trying to also looking for sunbeds during mornings they can get crowded around, you will while sunbathing hear the planes come by and annoying crows !
The stewards coming by with complimentary water was very nice small details is always appreciated !
Gym is also really nice and pretty big ! Just remember facemask around all indoor activities.
The gallaria next door have a nice supermarket, hairdressers ( salons ) ice ring !
Really nice didnt expect that though, Deira isnt that nice specially around night, mostly males that is hanging around the streets, it is the old dubai ! Did prefer like wafi mall, dubai mall, or Emirates mall. More touristic places.

The breakfast in the morning was not particularly exciting. I needed to get out early and was content with eggs done as you like it and fresh fruit. Indian and Middle Eastern fare was also available.
Drinks in the evening - guess you could have anything. I used it only on a single evening. I had a glass of red wine and roasted nuts as aperitif before going out for evening meal.
