As a Platinum Accor member and regular guest I am always treated extremely well by all of the staff, from the friendly and helpful porters Adnan, Bilal, Collins, Edwin, Jowi and Richard to Shehab, Zakariyae Jenny, Kathleen and Zilola at the front desk, Bharat at the lobby café who makes my smoothies along with Isuri and Krizzha in the restaurant and Adham on room service.

The person who is really outstanding is the housekeeping supervisor Ken who gets my suite ready which involves getting the electrician to disactivate some of the lights and housekeeping to make my bed the way I like it. It was nice to meet the new director of rooms Kazim too.

There is a large swimming pool on the mezzanine and another one on the rooftop and they are both heated to at least 30°C. There is also a large gym.

As a Platinum member I would like to see some executive facilities especially as this is now a 5 star hotel. I stayed at the new 3 star Mercure Dubai Deira too and they had a club room off the restaurant with breakfast, afternoon tea and evening canapés included for Platinum members. Room service could also be improved, I waited for one and a half hours one evening just to get in touch with them and the evening I had a mushroom pizza it was really dry.

My stay at the Grand Mercure hotel was made all the more enjoyable by the exceptional room I had the pleasure of occupying. The room was a serene retreat, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean, providing the perfect sanctuary after a long day. The comfortable bed and plush pillows ensured a restful night's sleep, and the modern amenities and complimentary Wi-Fi, kept me entertained and connected. I was particularly impressed by the spaciousness of the room, which provided ample space to relax and unwind. Ferdous deserves special mention for his exceptional service, ensuring that my room was always clean and tidy. It has been quite a while before we used Accor benefits and decided to try GRAND Mercure on our last day in Dubai. The welcome was epic from the energetic Front Office Manager Mr Henry, his cheerful smile made even the welcome to much more enticing. We loved every moment of interaction from our arrival till we saw our room, we thought of upgrading the room but as soon as we entered, what a design of modern architecture enough space to manover each corner, we had a room facing the pool and it was just perfect. Food selection is limited as most people are always out, clean places all over, good WiFi however service delivery from Room Service and Housekeeping is relatively slow you will have to call more than thrice to receive ordered items, in terms of sustainability they are plastic free with a huge glass bottle of water inside the rooms. Overall stay was short sweet and nice, always keep in that if you want to know and understand the best stay ask for Mr Henry the legend. Its a must to return and we shall come back to the best hotel in town.

This hotel is definitely not a 5-star hotel. Not even close. In summary this is a 3-star hotel at best.

First of all, there seems to be an issue with hotel management because nothing works. Breakfast is a complete chaos, and the staff doesn’t clean up after previous guests. Cups and plates are always out of stock for some reason, even if you are among the first to arrive during a quiet time! You also have to get your own coffee and tea (with no cups available), which is quite outrageous for a 5-star hotel. How is this even possible in a 5-star hotel..

Rooms are not cleaned on time; you have to wait for housekeeping, and they won’t come unless you specifically request it 2-3 times. Additionally, the room had a horrible smell of smoke or mold.

I am thoroughly disappointed with this hotel in every way. If you don’t care about quality at all and want a terrible hotel for your vacation, then be my guest!

If you have your own food, like baby food, don’t bother asking the staff to heat it up—they simply refuse to do it! If your baby has a special diet, unfortunately, they won’t be able to get any suitable food.

The water in the children’s pool was cold. The gym was okay. Some of the staff members were friendly, and I don’t want to blame them, but I would point the finger at the management.

I stayed at this hotel for 12 days but had to leave early for another hotel because nothing here simply worked.

The breakfast buffet is a complete disaster, and I don't understand how it has received such good reviews. We went to eat at different times between 8 and 10 AM, and every single time, all the cutlery was gone from the tables, there were no coffee cups at the coffee station, and this so-called five-star hotel didn’t even offer specialty coffee or tea served at the table. The food was either gone or cold when we went to the buffet. Also, having only one omelet chef making eggs while 20 people are queuing on a weekend is absolutely ridiculous.

I was traveling with a 2-year-old toddler, and I called housekeeping to request a small spoon for his evening porridge in the room, but I was told I would have to pay for it. Pay for a spoon in a five-star hotel that I needed for my child?!

Additionally, they refused to heat up my child's pre-made food anywhere in the hotel. What if I had been traveling with an infant?

Housekeeping was also a constant struggle. I had to call several times about cleaning the room, and the first time, our family of four was provided with only two towels. Not even hand towels. We had to call multiple times before we received more towels.

This is far from the five-star experience I’m accustomed to, and I don’t feel like I got my money’s worth.

If I must say something positive, the concierge staff was friendly and always attentive to our child. The hotel is also in a convenient location, close to the airport.

Starting from reaching the hotel, there was miscommunication. I had requested a Dubai Suite while booking and for 4 am checkin which was confirmed to me via text messaging at extra charge which i had confirmed. Upon reaching the hotel, the reception advised it was subject to availability. However it wasnt communicated to me via text messaging or i would have booked another night or another hotel.
Despite us explaining we have had a long flight and my son has autism, we are happy to take any other room which we will pay for, reception advised they didnt have any available, however after few hours, Dubai suite was made available and we were charged 150 dirhams extra per night for the stay and provided with a room.
Upon checking into the room and turning on the shower, coloured water came out indicating this room hadnt been used for some time, hence we were lied to since the start. The thermostat in the room was broken and couldnt maintain temperature in the room and hot water system wasnt enough to last you to even fill the hotub they had provided in the room. My son fell sick on the second day as the temperature was either too hot if we turned off the aircon or too cold if you left it on as the thermostat was useless. I spent more than 100$ on medicines. As we raised a complaint, reception reached us at night 10pm to allow them to compensate me by refunding the 5 nights charge that they took for dubai suite. Next morning instead or refund, i got a second debit message from the bank that the hotel initiated a second payment request for my stay. I had to go to reception and had to show the lady my bank statement showing a second debit request. She said manager starts at 3pm and will ask him to sort it. I asked the lady about the refund as promised by their reception night before, she said she can see the notes on my system and it will enter my bank by itself. Till date no refund has yet been received. Staff need decent customer service and conflict resolution trainings.
In all I would never recommend Grand Mercure or any Accor group hotels.

Great location and near to the airport and free shuttle bus to the airport.

There were 3 staff/bell man when we reached the hotel in a taxi and none took the initiative to help us bring down the luggage until we started to struggle with the third luggage.

Check-in was smooth and quick. But together with the experience at the entrance, overall vibe is that the staff are generally not friendly (not to the extend of being unfriendly).

The room that we got, 214, has the smell of cigarettes despite requesting for non smoking room. We managed to get the smell out by opening the window but after we left the room (with window closed) and enter the room after a few hours, the smell came back. Informed the front desk who mentioned that they will get the housekeeping to check but there is no further update and smell persists for the next few days.

The shower room can be better with more than the one existing hanging hook for clothes/towel.

Basic amenities are provided and housekeeping are quick to respond to requests.

Ferdous was diligent in ensuring that my room was spotless and well-stocked with amenities every day. One of the best hotels in Dubai. Ibis Styles Dubai Airport Hotel offers high end luxury and the best of services within a budget range and a low tariff rate.
The rooms are clean, spacious, airy and well ventilated, well furnished and fitted with all conceivable amenities. All of the rooms are extremely clean and rigorously sanitized.
The glass windows look out to a beautiful, manicured garden, decorated with fairy lights. The room lightings and lamp shades, and the cushion covers and curtains are color coordinated.
There is hot and cold water and premium quality shower gel and conditioning shampoo in the washroom.
The work desk, bed and mattress, bedside table, wall racks, chairs and table, hair dryer, iron, clothes rack, hangar, ironing board, LCD TV, all add to the comfort.
The air conditioning rund fine and can be adjusted. Tea, coffee, brown sugar and mineral water, toilet paper rolls and a set of five towels are provided on a daily basis.
The hotel staff is polite and courteous and attends to all your concerns immediately. The housekeeping team works diligently and cleans the room meticulously.
And the Wi-Fi is just superb. Good WiFi strength in all the rooms. So it is easy to make video calls, join video conferences, or simply watch movies etc., or do online work.
The sumptuous breakfast provided at the adjoining Grand Mercure hotel is a connoisseur's delight.
There is also a swimming pool on the rooftop, that is adorned with fancy lights in the evening.
The hotel is located very close to the Dubai Metro (GGICO is just 400 metres away) and the Dubai Airport.
There is also a free shuttle service to the Deira City Center Mall.
This hotel is especially safe during these trying times, as it rigorously follows all hygiene and safety measures.
All in all, Ibis Styles Dubai Airport Hotel and the adjoining Grand Mercure Hotel provides premium services at an affordable rate and I recommend it as the first choice for both travelers and residents.

Grand Mercure Hotel and Residences Dubai Airport is a beautiful modern hotel That offers a free Airport shuttle to and from the airport.

The hotel is modern and elegant And after having my flight changed and arriving early As an Accor gold member, the manager and staff looked after me exceptionally well.

The rooms are beautifully appointed with black out curtains and the rooms are sound proofed. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious.

The beds are super comfortable with nice comfortable pillows, and there is a desk and chair, a bar ridge, a safe, large LCD TV with a good selection of channels and there is a separate shower and toilet. Really comfortable good sized rooms and I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at this hotel And I would highly recommend this hotel to anybody.

A special thank you to the manager and the young man excellent job and made me feel very welcome. Both the manager and staff member were great and did over and above what was required of them. A great experience and I would definitely return to this hotel

Hi - do you have a free shuttle from the airport? How much would a taxi be?

Don't even bother with the shuttle, just take a taxi, the meter starts at 25 dhs from the airport and it will be about an extra 10 dhs to the hotel which is 5 minutes away but you can not walk to it not can you walk anywhere else in Dubai even to cross the road, you need to take a taxi.
