FIVE Jumeirah Village Hotel presents a dynamic and spirited environment, as described by guests who enjoy the energetic music and entertainment, despite a few noting the noise levels as a nuisance. While service quality varies, with commendations for attentive staff alongside gripes about sluggishness, the hotel's cleanliness stands out with travelers consistently acknowledging spotless rooms and well-maintained common areas. Room experiences are mixed, with size and luxury being highlights against a backdrop of noise and maintenance issues. Amenities, particularly the pool parties, are a hit, though not without their own critiques. The hotel's location is deemed convenient for nightlife lovers, albeit a bit removed from the city center, leading to mixed views on its value proposition.

Valet parking was quick on both arrival and departure. There was no additional cost for this.
We checked in at 3pm and it was very busy however staff were attentive and professional throughout, it did take around 10 minutes to check. We were advised to check out a little before 12 which we did, there were no queues and took 3 minutes max.

All staff we interacted with maintained the social distance and wore masks. The lifts are 4 people max which takes more time than before covid - as would be expected.

Our room was spacious, could fit 4 adults no problem. Once we had arrived the sanitation team came to ask if we wanted an additional spray over the furniture etc. Our room was very clean and had amenities such as iron, bathrobes, slippers, glasses etc. We called in room dinning for a bucket of ice - this cost 12 aed - definately worth it.

At night there were people enjoying their pools and jaquzzis until after midnight, as were we. Once in the room with the door closed we did not hear anything from other rooms. Something which we were very impressed by!

In all honestly there were signs of wear in places such as a cigarette burn in the curtain and some sun lotion stains on the lounger cushions. None of which bothered us as the room was spotlessly clean and we placed towels over the loungers.

We had a great stay and would highly recommend. We will most certainly be back with our friends and family.

To start, some rooms are right above the disco and you will have a lot of noise. But it is no problem if you ask for another room. Make also sure you ask a skyvilla with a heated pool because not all pools of the skyvilla’s are heated. The turn (main reastaurant) is delicious. The buffet is good and for breakfast you can order almost any sort of eggs, for dinner you can order pizza, shoarma and there is a bbq where the chef bakes meat as you like. Make sure your waiter at the restaurant is DARSHAN. He works hard and sees work. Your table will always be clean, finished plates are gone in no time and he is very polite. The bus to the five palm is easy. The beach there is amazing with very good seats.

Me and my partner visited this hotel for a week in February 2020 and had a fabulous time.
We received a warm welcome on arrival, and offered a very reasonably priced upgrade to a suite however decided against this as we simply would not be spending much time in the room due to exploring. If we had been staying for relaxation however I would definitely have considered! The decor of the hotel is lovely, very modern and plenty of opportunity for instagram snaps!
The room was nice. Very large comfy bed and lovely bathroom with a bath that looked out onto the Dubai skyline. The room was spacious for two. We were room only, however each day were left with 4-6 bottles of water for free which was a lovely added touch as there are no shops nearby! I did find that after showering I ended up with lots of bits on my feet, so I would suggest maybe that the room is swept daily to prevent this.
The area is very up and coming! (However I’ve the next few years this is definitely going to change) So there is nothing locally to do or see- however the hotel are aware of this and run free buses to the sister hotel FIVE Palm Jumeirah every half hour and buses to Mall of Emirates and Dubai Mall which come in handy and we utilised.
The pool area is lovely. We did struggle for sun beds if we went out around midday looking for a bed but the staff were keen and on lookout for people leaving so we could enjoy the sunshine. The pool bar is also very nice and the staff are great!
To get to the marina area in the evening for meals or drinks it is around 10GBP each way. There are always taxis outside the hotel and plenty of Uber’s around!

I would recommend the hotel, and as more buildings and hotels are built nearby I think it will become more and more attractive to tourists.

Booked for a celebration, had an awful experience from start to finish and the management don't seem to care, or answer phone calls or emails regarding complaints.

We waited 3 hours to get to a room, and during those three hours there were numerous occasions where staff were extremely unhelpful and wouldn't let us know what was going on. We waited for over half an hour in a queue for check in, only to be told our room wasn't ready and they didn't know how long it would be. There was no food and water being served, so we had to wait around with many many other guests facing the same issues. We eventually found out that our room had been 'given to someone else accidentally' and that we had to wait for another one to be cleaned. No one apologised or explained to anyone what was happening and there were many angry guests in the 'waiting area' that the Five had told us to stay in. After three hours and many attempts at communication with any staff, we managed to get a key.

When we eventually got to the room, the state of it was quite frankly disgusting. The outside (see attached picture) was completely full of the previous guests' rubbish and dirty plates, bin bags etc. The cleaners were still in the apartment, but they were barely able to clean as there was so much mess - they were tidying things up. It is beyond my comprehension how if check out is at 12, they were still 'cleaning' this villa at 5pm. This was the start of the Covid pandemic and the rooms were certainly not cleaned to a basic standard, certainly not to a standard when hygiene and health and safety should be paramount.

We didn’t have hand or bath towels and some bathrooms did not have toilet rolls. I phoned down to ask for pool towels, to which your receptionist responded to say they were being brought up. Rather unsurprisingly at this point, these towels did not arrive, so we were left with no pool towels whatsoever and did not want to use those still left on the sunbed by previous guests. There were also no plates, cutlery, glassware etc., but it is advertised as having kitchen facilities - this is again, false advertisement.

Will not be recommending to anyone else in Dubai or any friends who visit regularly.

I stayed in Five Jumeirah Village for 4 nights and it was my first visit. I booked a One bed Jacuzzi for me and my two guests. The hotel is by far one of the most modern and vibrant hotels I have stayed in. It looks like it was made for Instagram. Despite it being in the middle of nowhere, it has a great vibe and it was always buzzing. Getting a taxi was never a problem. I thoroughly enjoyed using the pool and was taken great care of by Tash who made sure we were never short of a strawberry daiquiri. Loved the little msgs on the drinks.

Whilst I think the hotel is definitely good value for money, I do think there is room for improvement. I booked the one bed jacuzzi so that we could use the kitchen and make our own breakfast. Unfortunately I was informed on day 2 after having trouble getting the hob on that there was no gas in the building. At no point during me receiving my reservation confirmation email and checking in was I told this, despite it apparently being on the website (I visited the website about 8 times the week before we arrived). I had to follow up with the reception desk twice before the situation was resolved, which is not what you want to do whilst you’re on holiday. At one point I was told that I should of checked the kitchen worked when I booked it, which I thought was a very bizarre thing to say to a guest. Also separately whilst housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay, it felt like the room was only every stocked for 2 guests, despite us being a group of 3 so it felt like we were constantly having to ring Guest Services for more bedding and toilet tissues.

Overall great hotel, however customer service could do with some improvement.

Me and my partner and another couple stayed at five jumiera hotel and all 4 of us couldn’t be happier with our stay, we had the room with the pool and it was out of this world! The cleaners came every day and changed our sheets, towels and gave us new loo rolls and small bottles of water (about 8 bottles a day) the cleaners also did our dishes which we weren’t expecting at all, they always go out and beyond for you!

The main pool in the hotel is very nice and clean and the waiters are very friendly, however it does get busy pretty quickly so if your not down by about 12 then you probably won’t be able to get a bed, but there are loads of tables and chairs around the pool. You also get given a towel each, which again is a very nice touch.

The food and drinks are pricey however I would say the food and cocktails are worth it, all the food is freshly made and tastes amazing.

The one and only thing that I would say I was disappointed with, is that in our room we have no long mirrors lol so the only way you could see yourself is to go on the balcony and check your reflection in the windows, they have mirrors in the bathrooms but not full length, but that’s the only downfall, apart from that I would highly recommend booking!

The Hotel was lovely, the staff was amazing. They make you feel as though you are the only ones in the hotel with their excellent personal service.
Everything is clean and secure, everyone is friendly and goes above and beyond from cleaners making towel animals to lifeguards taking photos for our family and playing splash... they made our family especially our 2 year old feel very special.
We had a direct number to the floor supervisor for any room needs or extras and the cleaners happily worked around our daughter's nap schedule. They even brought our daughter surprises throughout our stay including a pillow embroidered with her name and a sippy cup in her favorite color.

We had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend.

The only thing we thought could be improved was the food was just okay, and the in-room dining menu didn't open with the QR code.

We stayed in this hotel for four nights and was very impressed with it. As soon as you enter the hotel you must be temperature checked and must be wearing a mask - it was very clean and felt safe enough.
We had a room with a pool on the 43rd floor and the pool was freezing, too cold to actually use or be enjoyable. After engineers not turning up we spoke to reception and within ten minutes the manager had offered to move our room to the 47th floor after confirming the heaters within the pool were broken. Both our rooms were beautiful and amazing quality for the value, the pool does not heat up very much it is only ever warm as oppose to hot. The rooms were outstanding however there were a couple of things which could have been cleaned better (there were still cup marks on some of the counters in the living room and kitchen).
We ordered room service twice during our stay which was excellent value and the food was delicious. We also ate in the Italian restaurant within the hotel which was delicious.
There is quite a party atmosphere around the pool, pool bar and soul street however we could never hear music or people and were not disturbed once, would definitely return.
There is also a free shuttle to Five Palm which we used to get to the beach. This goes hourly from both hotels.
Only other thing of interest is our room had an amazing view overlooking Burj Khalifa, The Palm etc. however it faced the opposite way from the sun so it doesn't hit the balcony at all - you either get a view or the sun.

Liked · The spacious 4 bed is beautifully laid out and furnished. The Sky Bathroom in the master is just stunning as are the views of Dubai which stretch for miles and miles. Just watching the weather change was entertainment in itself. The balcony is epic. Plenty of space and the little pool is fabulous fun. The staff do their absolute best to accommodate and if you are travelling with kids get in touch in advance so you can jump the queues at 5th floor reception. The room service menu (on the TV guide) is excellent and we all enjoyed the food. The sound proofing is exceptional. In spite of the raging parties we were surrounded by it was quiet in each of the bedrooms. If they say they are going to be 20 mins with your food they are. I liked the fact that expectations were managed based on the fact the place was so busy.

Disliked · This is a party hotel. At 95% occupancy turning over a 4 bedroom suite in 3hrs was always going to be a challenge. On arrival it was pretty grim. I ended up using dettol wipes on every surface the kids would touch, not coz of CV19 but because of all the sticky left overs from the previous occupants. Everything takes time. So the cot, the mop, the coffee pods... and so on... it just takes time as the lifts are constantly in use and we were on the 55th floor. The kitchens are kept empty for short stays so if you are travelling with kids take stuff like cups, spoons etc

UPDATE - since posting this on Bookings.com the hotel have been in touch and addressed the cleanliness issues. We are going back enticed by a lovely discount to revisit and review again. The Guest Services team have been consistently AWESOME.

My friend and I just stayed at this property to celebrate her Birthday, after the initial impression of the room things pretty much progressed downhill. The room was not an inexpensive one, it was an up-market room with a Jacuzzi etc, however everything additional to the base room was poor. We had to request towels and toilet roll which took 4 calls and 3 hours, 20 dirhams per bucket for ice, 40 minutes to retrieve our car when we left, not to mention the absolutely RIDICULOUS security arrangements. COVID rules not in effet in pool areas. Honestly, wouldn't give this place one more dirham and won't even bother going for the nightlife any more. Finally, we booked the room in advance for around AED 1000, our friends booked the same room on the night for AED 400. Rubbish.

How did you make the booking? If online most of the time cards are entered but not charged to hold the booking. It’s only guaranteed once and if you pay which is sent via a payment link or at the property upon check in. Not a scam 😊
