Hotel Nova a lovely little hotel. We received a warm welcome and a great introduction to the hotel. The rooftop bar was amazing. and the staff are just lovely. They helped with our tours of Mandalay and arranging additional tuk tuks and a bus to Bagan! So grateful for all the help Breakfast was minimal but this was the same all over Myanmar so no complaints. We had a few cocktails a few evenings and some meals in the evening and were quite delicious. Coming into the dining room the staff would change the channels to justin bieber music channel I believe thinking this is what we would like. Another trend we witnessed over Myanmar. Such innocent fun. I really enjoyed staying here. My only issue was the cleanliness of the room. the walls has marks on them that really could have been cleaned quite easily. Marks from food that spilled or something. Room was clean otherwise. Would stay here again

Dear Louise, Greetings from THE HOTEL NOVA, It's an honor for us to receive feedback from you and our staffs are very excited to hear back from you. We are really embarrassed about the dirt on the wall which is clearly our mistake to not look into the room clearly while house keeping time.We are really sorry and will try not to make that kind of ignorance again .We hope to see you again in near future. Simon(Mr.)Sales and Marketing.

We have stayed in hotel recently, friendly and helpful staffs in the breakfast room and reception, doorman is manned all the time. Nice rooftop bar! Our room size for 3 guests is perfect with the paid price. Toiletries and amenity are completed, my dislike and may suggest on the labelling of toiletry bottles hard to read, too small letter with highlighted color! Otherwise everything else is nice.

Dear MaYa, Greetings from THE HOTEL NOVA, Thank you for leaving a review and a suggestion for us. We know about the amenities problem and we have also agreed to change the label size and also to change it to water proof wrapping so that the labelling will not go spoiled. It's a very supportive suggestion which is definitely in need. Thank you so much. Simon(Mr.)Sales and Marketing.

The main problem in the Hotel Nova was that the room was too small for the giant bed, which was about 2.5 m wide. The wifi was good and the rooftop bar and restaurant were pleasant. The room was quiet. The laundry service was poor; we requested it at 2:30 pm and were told that it would not be back until 11 am 2 days later. After we complained they managed to get it back the next evening. Even so, it was very expensive and it would not have cost much more to just buy new clothes. The breakfast was very poor.

Dear Ron, Greetings from The HOTEL NOVA, Thank you for your suggestion about our service flaws and strengths. We will definitely make sure to adjust the price and the time frame of the laundry service. For the breakfast, we normally receive good and average reviews but we will follow up the date you had. The room size is fit with our hotel ministry standard and if you think it's small, then we have a larger room called Deluxe room and Junior suite room which we can recommend. Thank you and see you again with great breakfast and laundry. Simon(Mr.)Sales and Marketing.

My family and I (wife, 2 teenage daughters and me) spent several days here in January 2020. The facilities were basic, but comfortable and inexpensive. The staff was friendly and quite eager to please - this became really apparent when we had to extend our stay because my wife had an accident (broken ankle). I very much appreciated the consideration and assistance. The roof top bar was pretty, and a good place to unwind. Why would I consider not giving the Hotel Nova 5 stars? inconsistent and underwhelming breakfast and intermittent hot water. At the same time it is worth recognising that this is an inexpensive hotel in Mandalay and they deliver what they promise.

I have spent 3 nights with my family here in January and experienced light and shadow. The good things: - staff is attentive and helpful, some speak good English - front desk was helpful, booking boat tickets to Bagan, getting us a breakfast box when we left early - great roof top bar - good, central location The things to improve: - really small rooms (I know that´s hard to improve, but I felt very confined with 3 people in a 10 sqm room - AC (in room 903) was not working properly - shower head was hanging loose, it was not possible to take a shower without holding the shower in one hand - toilet paper was missed in our room (after house keeping) - breakfast buffet is below average (missing good coffee) I think this hotel is just average. I would not really recommend staying here, but come here for having a cocktail at the rooftop bar.

Dear Sir/madam, Greetings from The Hotel Nova, Thank you for leaving comments for our hotel and we really appreciate your point of view. We will definitely try to improve the drawbacks. But if you have complained us about the AC, we would repair it straight away because although proper maintenance, electrical appliances can got problems anytime. Toilet paper missing is our fault and we will take good care of the complete refill of amenities and try to add more items on breakfast. Thank you for your suggestion and hope to see you again.
