Magical! We stayed one night, but it was literally one night in fairytale…. so many worldwide and classy hotels can’t beat Kostelski buk in beauty, comfort, cleanliness, food and friendly, warm staff. The rooms are comfortable and impeccable! Food is perfect for each stomach and taste… Staff is incredibly kind, lovely and friendly… 🌸 Loved the fact that guests came from around the world, so the breakfast lounge was like a little globe, different cultures and languages but the same happiness! Good job Kostelski buk, proud of you! ♥️

This small hotel provides rooms with balconies in a serene location by the river with great views of the surrounding waterfalls. It is out of town but has a fantastic restaurant on site with views to rival the room balcony views.
The rooms are larger than other hotels in the Balkans with very comfortable beds, providing plenty of space to move around. Would love to stay here longer next time.

Part of our trip to Bosnia we visited Bihac a great city so magical and beautiful and we choose to stay at the Hotel Kostelski But.
When you stay there don't expect a fancy modern room this hotel is historic and old and this the unique things about it.
It is a beautiful hotel one of the best in Bihac rooms we stayed in was over looking the river and nature. Best feeling you wake up and open the balcony and see the that amazing nature green and river and smell the fresh of the air
Service is great food is more than tasty, over all it was one of my best ever experienced
Thanks
Sari

This is not a 4 star hotel!
The interior is outdated, the bed comes with a sound, the minibar is empty, there was no coffee in the room, the closet has a dust layer, the bathroom smells from the pipes, the hairdryer did not work properly, there was no balcony as promised and if you're not in a room with river view, you're looking on a busy road that connects two cities, not somply a street as I was told.
My explicit wish, when I booked the hotel, was a nice room for a romantic weekend. We ended up in a room with three beds and bed for a child, no sofa, no robes and I had to ask for a water stopper for the bathtub - they charge extra if you want to fill the bathtub.
The hotel is a popular location for weddings - you can hear the music everywhere in the hotel.
Locals appreciate the hotel restaurant, so it's busy all the time.
There is no shop around the hotel, the city is 10 min away.
The hotel personell was kind though.

This is one beautiful hotel right on the river, it's just beautiful to wake up to . Great for honeymooners but also for kids as there's a nice swimming area where the river fills up a natural pool and a nice zoo with animals to watch. From the balcony or while taking a walk. Whats also nice that breakfast lunch and dinner is served in the restaurant right by the river and in the summer more seating are placed out side. The hotel is affordable and the staff ate more thank kind and helpful!

Warm and welcoming staff which speaks good English, waitors in the restaurant area are also having good knowledge and recommendations of the menu.
Room is cozy, clean with extra comfortable bed. The view from the balcony is amazing, directly on the waterfall as well as the sounds of ducks and geese every morning.
The breakfast consists of big variety of food and for the ones who are in need, there are vegetarian and gluten free options.
Hotel is also equipped with the gym, jacuzzi and sauna.

The place is 10/10, food is great, location and view are unbelievable, friendless and flexibility of the staff top class. Last which the most important to me (room or hotel) cleanest which I had nothing to complaint about, I could not thank enough the staff for their kind hosting.
The hotel is fully equipped with spa and gym facilities, Sona, (jacuzzi & gym facing the river beach side).
Long story short, if you want to enjoy a calm friendly environment, this is the best place to recommend. Btw check out their island when you visit, it’s another story to be reviewed 😍

I am a tour guide from Israel. I have been to the hotel for 2 nights on April 2023 and I decided to bring this year group to stay there as well. The hotel got all the compliments from my groups. The location is stunning, rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are tasty.
Simply a plesure to stay there.

We were a group of four who felt we`ve entered an episode of "Twilight Zone" when this magnificent hotel suddenly appeared on our way to Bihac. Although located a 10 minute drive outside of the city of Bihac the location alongside the waterfalls and the river i splendid. The quality throughout this hotel, everything from interior to staff and breakfast, is simply excellent - and same thing goes for the hotel restaurant so elegantly integrated within the building with a splendid view of the waterfalls. Magnificent surroundings. To top things of its probably the cheapest hotel experience I`ve ever come across, as they charged us only approx. €25 pr. night. A complete bargain.

I went to this hotel to enquire about wedding options for myself and my future husband. We asked the receptionist to speak to someone about it and she advised that the managers were in a meeting. I asked how long before I could speak to someone as we were looking to bring across 100 of our friends and family for 3nights to also stay at the hotel, she said half an hour, so we smiled and said 'no problem we'll have a drink in the restaurant'. We sat down by the waterfalls and were served our drinks, which was really nice and I was looking forward to seeing the rest of hotel in half an hour.
However, during this time we tried to get the waiters attention again and again whilst they were play fighting at the bar (very unprofessional) and when he came over he was very rude, we paid and then went back to reception with the hope that someone would be waiting for us to discuss options. Instead the receptionist apologies and said they are still in the meeting - she then went to speak to them but no one would come to speak to us. I then asked if someone could show us around the rooms and the wedding venue - and one of the receptionists reluctantly took us round. The rooms were luxorious, but the receptionist was very arrogant and rude whilst showing us around.
We also spotted the 'managers meeting' that was going on on the balcony where they were all gathered together smoking and drinking. This was disappointing to say the least considering we were potentially going to be spending 1000s there for a wedding and 100 guest stays for 3 days, and they could not be bothered to speak to us. Together with the staff attitudes we were beginning to see how they treat their customers!
However, I wanted to give them another chance so when we left an hour after we arrived and no managers present to discuss wedding options I decided to call them the next morning to see if someone would speak to me. The manager answered and I explained what we were looking to do and we could get prices - she responded by giving me some prices and then asked me to call her back as she had to attend to some guests that had just arrived. I was gobsmacked!
It's safe to say that after spending an hour at the hotel waiting to be seen by a manager for potential wedding options, then served by arrongant employees and asked to call the manager back rather than her calling me back I did not want my wedding at this hotel, let alone for my friends and family to be subjected to such unprofessional service. I did not care about anything the hotel offered, because if you are not made to feel good in the place you are staying the rest of it cannot make up for it!
I would not recommend it.
