Hotel Veliki is in a perfect location to the City Center. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the center. Me and my husband stayed at this hotel for 10 nights. We didn’t know what to expect because we’re African American. We didn’t feel any discomfort the entire time we were there. Matter of fact the staff was very accommodating, extremely nice and they all spoke English. I usually have a hard time sleeping if there’s any noise or light. They don’t have blackout curtains but they have these shutters that will keep any light out. If they are not open, you can’t tell if it’s day time. I slept soundly every night I was there. The restaurant at the hotel is one of best restaurants in the area. If we had a complaint, it would be that they give you too much food. EVERYTHING we ate was delicious and we are foodies. We also went to Bosnia for 3 nights and stayed at a 4 star hotel…Hotel Holiday. I will take Hotel Veliki over Hotel Holiday any day. Thank you to the staff for delivering a wonderful space for my husband and I to lay our heads and fill our bellies with great food. Hvala!

Veliki team is very welcoming, the place is clean and the restaurant is nice. Rooms are confortable and good sizes. Located at the centre of the City, you will have to walk only 2 minutes to be at the centre. Surrounded by lots of cafes, restaurants, shops etc ... I recommand.

The hotel shuts off the water every night at midnight. At all. If you come back from the bar, you won't be able to brush your teeth or shower. Totally sucks. Not recommended. There are three outlets in the room and they have a kettle, three lights and a TV. Where do I turn on the charge? You didn't even make an outlet for the lights.

Since a long time we did not get such a friendly , affirmative service , as if each front office staff knowledgeable as much as 5* hotels concierge. Great food ,incredible taste at the restaurant down there...

I would like to start by saying that this hotel offers exceptional standards regarding the price/quality. Not just because of the excellent services provided by the hotel, as well as the really nice breakfast but also because of the staff members that with their kindness make you feel welcome and comfortable. The hotel is located right in the old city center, a small but pleasant and familiar hotel.
As for the restaurant, the food served is really good and the staff members are really friendly.
Congratulations Hotel Veliki for what you offer!

The hotel is perfectly located in the city centre, though in a quiet street, so you can be sure you will rest at night. Rooms are very clean, spacious, well furnished. There is a free parking lot in front of the hotel, wifi is free of charge, there's also tv in the room. The one in which we stayed was a studio with a small kichenette. Bathroom was also very clean. Hotel's staff is professional and very helpfull. We can surely recomend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is excellent-- very close to the downtown square, which can also make it a bit noisy at night. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious, with simple furnishings, though the mattresses are a little hard. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There is no elevator, which might be a problem for some people. The best feature of the hotel is its restaurant, which is really lovely and serves great food. They were very accommodating with my daughter who has severe food allergies. Even if you don't stay at the hotel, you should eat here.

We were relocated to this hotel because of some problems in the one we initially booked. The staff at the entrance and at the restaurant was very nice. We got a large room on the top floor, right under the roof which provided a cozy atmosphere even though the room itself looked a bit old. Everything was very clean and it would have been perfect if the bathroom had had a better shower (single tap shared between sink and bathtub, vertical shower holder??). The breakfast and the dinner we had at the restaurant were good. The hotel has few parking spots and the city center is round the corner (church bells could wake you up in the morning :D). Free good wifi everywhere in the building. A small supermarket next door was open on sunday as well. Book at Veliki and enjoy your stay!
