Positives: - first and foremost, the biggest positive is the hotel owner Josip, a wonderful person that will go a long way to help you in anything you might need. He will jump into your car with you in order to show you parking spots, explain everything about the city etc., if everyone had the same attitude towards their guests, it would tremendously help the tourism industry. - location is perfect, right in the old town. Besides that, the building and rooms are really nice, with great attention to every detail. All is spotlessly clean and, to my surprise, even though you might expect some noise in such a location, the rooms are quiet, I had no problems sleeping. Negatives: - well, you are in the pedestrian zone, so be aware that you cannot park your car right next to the building. It is not a negative per se, if you choose such a location, it is always like this. Basically you have two options - paid street parking (very close, across the main street) or free parking (10-15 minutes walking). - no breakfast, but there is bakery right around the corner. To sum it up, this place certainly has its character and I can warmly recommend it. If you are already there, go for lunch to nearby Marenda, where you can get tasty home-cooked meals for more than affordable prices.

The Fenice Palace was centrally located, close to the bus station and the port. We were pleased with the communication we had with Josip prior to our arrival. We were greeted by his wife on our actual arrival...she met us on the main street and ushered us to the Palace. We ended up staying in a nicely appointed suite which was beautiful and well thought out. I would classify this as a boutique lodging. The owners wife shared with us the information and tools to enjoy our stay. Old Sibenik is a beautiful historic city which appears to be well-healed economically and culturally.

Nice, clean rooms with good amenities in a great location and very helpful staff made the trip so much better. Exceeded expectations. (Josip - keep on doing what you do.) Nothing to complain about and everything to recommend - get a room here if you can.

Josip is a class act. Communication was superb, we alerted him to our time of arrival and he waited for us at the street, quickly helped us unload our luggage and hopped in the car with my husband to show him to the closest public parking. Fenice Palace is in a pedestrian zone, but close enough to the main road that you don't have to lug your bags very far--only a few steps. Josip has it all down to a science, and the check-in and check-out was fast and easy. The rooms are beautifully decorated, the details will astound you, and every amenity you could need is provided. The beds are so comfy and the AC was very much appreciated! The old town of Sibenik is literally at your doorstep and Josip's wife provided us with a couple of great restaurant recommendations. We loved Tomaseo! Thank you! A lovely couple running a high-end Inn. Great value. I highly recommend it--you'll love it!

This place is located in the pedestrian zone and you can park your car some 10-minutes walk away. We were upgraded to a comfortable suite with bedroom & kingsize bed, seating area including tv, little desk with coffeemaker and big bathroom. Everything was spotlessly clean. We were welcomed warmly and received a map with some tips for sights and restaurants. Sibenik is a very nice little town with historical center and we really enjoyed strolling and discovering the streets. We would have liked to stay some nights extra here, just to enjoy the peace and quiet and relax in this luxurious accomodation.
