Right in the old city and minutes from the Plie Gate, the Stari Grad is a welcoming, comfortable hotel. I stayed here 2 nights in 2 different rooms; one on the first floor and the other on the 4th floor. Both rooms were beautifully appointed with wonderful linens and a very comfortable bed/pillows. The staff is especially friendly and professional. Many thanks to Rodrigo and Margarita for their attention to detail and for making my stay as comfortable as possible; especially having a room available for me after my flight was cancelled at the last minute. The lobby bar area is perfect for a late night drink and restaurants and other attractions are just outside the hotel entrance including a spa just across the way. Plus, the rooftop restaurant is excellent!

This is a lovely hotel in the centre of the Old Town. Perfect if you want to step out of the door and be right in the heart of the action. The hotel itself is clean and modern with a wonderful aesthetic. The staff too are attentive and knowledgeable about the city and recommendations. The only minor issue preventing a 5 star review is an uncomfortable bed. A simple remedy in replacing the mattress would ensure top marks.

We stayed at Hotel Stari Grad during our short visit to Dubrovnik. The warm welcome from the hotel staff and the excellent services they provided were part of our great experience in this very charming town. In particular, we would like to thank the hotel staff for recovering an item we forgot in the hotel room upon check-out. I emailed the hotel after we noticed the item was missing, and the hotel responded immediately. A few days later, the item was delivered to our home in Germany. It was just perfect!

WE enjoyed our stay at the hotel. You feel you are with relatives. They pamper you and make sure all your needs are satisfied. Location is top. Rooms are not very spacious but functional and well decorated. there is a nice roof terrace from where to appreciate the roofs of Dubrovnik. A special thanks to the owner:))))
