Travellers' Choice
Situated on the beautiful peninsula of Lapad, the hotel's dramatic cliffside location, below the aromatic, pine-covered Petka woods, affords spectacular views in every direction. Fully renovated in 2014, each of the 308 contemporary rooms and suites all have private balconies and beautiful sea views. Great food and excellent service prevail. During your stay, you will be tempted to try out everything that is on offer: four swimming pools, one of which is indoors, hotel beach, tennis courts, fabulous snorkeling and a PADI diving centre, as well as a leafy jogging path and walking routes through the woods behind the hotel.

Very good hotel. Facilities are good with beach in front. Breakfast is also very good. Room very confortable eith good space. I suggest to reduce prices on restaurants and bar. Expensive and hotel couldget more clients consuming during the day if prices were more reasonable.

All in all s great experience. Note not all seaview rooms has a seaview as they are blocked by huge pine trees. But rooms are large and beds very comfortable. All jacuzzi, pool, lounge areas has amazing seaviews and sundowners. Breakfast was unfortunately not a 5 star quality. Cheeses and hams seemed like leftovers from the evening before because obviously been sweating eventhough I was an early riser and there at the opening. Not possible to order a bottle of water, so had to go up back again to get 4 glasses. Thats stupidity and lack of 5star service when the bottles were available on the table. Service was slow due to the setup of the chef making eggs and serving hot items also is the one serving cold items 30meters away from the hot stations. Terrible logistics. If I hadn't already paid for breakfast I would have skipped it during my stay. The healthy restaurant by the indoor pool area top floor has a great Foie grass and nice salads although small portions.

Excellent 5 day at this hotel . We were in room 452 with a perfect view. Lovely sunset seen. Staff very attentive. Chocolates left each nite ,nice touch. Any niggles were sorted straight away. Breakfast plentiful , but did not advertise there was toast, cappuccino etc. Covid screens in place and masks worn around the hotel. Outdoor pool with absolutely stunning views and access to the fabulous sea…..we only tried the pool bar and lounge bar in reception which were both great and good service…..we did not go to the spa but looked fab as we spent more time exploring beautiful Dubrovnik….and Cavtat ….worth going there on a boat and we caught no. 10 bus back We had a 3 day city card ,which got you do all the sights in the old city , Bus journeys and also return tickets to Cavtat No.4 bus sits outside the hotel and takes you straight to old city walls (pile gate)for a pound plus….bus back from where it drops you off…perfect …we walked which took about 45 plus mins if you like to see around …. Lapad had a street with restaurants , we tried two which were good and very cheap carafes of wine ….worth a try for a wonder down ,lots of locals very family orientated …..20 mins walk from hotel … Beautiful city ……. As you walk in the city from Pile Gate try some of the restaurants on the left up the stairs ….away from the constant stream ….

We as a family stayed in 2 suites and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The suites had 2 bathrooms, a living, dining area and bedroom with a huge balcony overlooking the Adriatic sea and the Elaphite Islands. The view is so stunning that you could spend all day looking at it. The hotel is very clean and all the staff we encountered were lovely and friendly. A special mention to Hrvoje, the Hotel Director and Ana, the restaurant manager for really going out of their way to meet our dietary needs. It was truly appreciated. The Old Town is just a 10 min bus ride or taxi ride away. We used the number 4 bus on the first day as it is literally outside the hotel and drops you outside Pile Gate which is the main entrance to the Old Town and cheap (15 kudos each). However, we found that Uber for a family of 4 was working out cheaper and only 1 min away from wherever we were so we were not restricted to the bus timings. Finally there are some lovely swimming pools at the hotel; both indoor and outside and again all very clean. Lovely to use after all the sightseeing! Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat, a truly lovely hotel with amazing views and great staff!

Really impressed with the Hotel Dubrovnik and their efforts to allow guests to have a great relaxing holiday whilst maintaining COVID safe conditions. The bed rooms are excellent with beautiful sea views and stunning sunsets. The suite was very spacious and well equipped. . The outside pool and terracing was exceptionally clean and well maintained. So nice to visit a hotel with lots of sunbeds and no requirement to do the ealy morning rush to secure a spot! We were on a full board basis and like many previous reviews the breakfast is outstanding with a great choice of food and a really good omelette station. Evening meals were not quite up to the standard of breakfast and tended to be a little variable in quality. Positively there was always a good choice though. The Covid secure service was a little slow at times, but fully understandable under the circumstances. The spa on the top floor is amazing and well worth a few hours relaxing in. The gym on the top floor was OK but a little cramped and lacks the range of equipment you would expect from this standard of hotel. A few minor comments..... Didn't like the drones flying overhead, but credit to the hotel security for reacting to my concerns and getting them stopped. This is a conference centre and was very busy and noise at times. Less of a complaint against the hotel and more about the conference attendees behaviour - shame on the Olympic Committee!!! Extra care has to be taken when entering the sea as the steps were extremely slippery. Overall great hotel with excellent staff and fully deserving of its reputation.
