Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed there for a couple of nights during our Balkan Roadtrip to visit Dubrovnik and relax for a couple of nights. Was the perfect hotel for this. You get to Dubrovnik by public bus very easy and fast. The location at the end of the "Peninsula" is quiet and has the advantage of an own swimming sea access. Walking distance to town for dinner at night. Breakfast was sumptious. The Hotel come at a hefty pricetag but it's worth it IMHO.

The room are of a very high standard, the bathrooms have high end products. The buffet restaurant had a varied menu and the breakfast selection was excellent especial the omelette station . We swam in all the pools and found them clean and well managed

One of 4 hotels beside each other all owned by the same group. Great location. Lots of pools and patios for enjoying a glass of wine overlooking the sea. Balcony rooms. Easy walk along the promenade to the down town area. Recommended. They have a taxi service that picks you up at the airport.

Perfect location. Excellent facilities Comfortable clean rooms. Could not fault the Hotel and very friendly staff. Went through TUI but did not get the room with a view which we booked just looking over at other apartments, very disappointed. Great costal walking and a must to visit Dubrovnik Old Town, stunning.

Absolutely beautiful clean hotel . Cannot fault . All staff from reception to housekeeping we found to be helpful and polite. The breakfasts were excellent and varied ( the egg station and staff superb ) . We ate in the Zoe restaurant one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a beautiful meal . Dubrovnik isn’t cheap , drinks and food expensive but for a special holiday this hotel did not let us down . Thankyou to all staff and management at the Neptun you are doing a great job .

We were excited to end our trip in a “sea view” room but instead had a balcony blocked by two large trees. We asked reception if we could change rooms or even pay to upgrade and they told us there were no rooms available. However, when we looked on their website it gave us booking options for our stay in higher level rooms (which we would have been happy to pay the difference for!). Overall the hotel was nice and the breakfast was good.

We were very happy with our three night stay. The amenities are wonderful - Beautiful pools, athletic club, restaurant, etc. Staff were very helpful and cheerful. Definitely a first class experience. We were part of a tour group and this was - easily - the nicest place we stayed.

Stunning hotel with a beautiful view! I travel a lot for work and pleasure and this is one of my favourite hotels. You have access to around 7 pools (I lost count!) and also love how they have beds in the rocks so you can swim in the sea which is amazing but be careful of the rocks they are slippy. Hotel was pretty full when we were there and so breakfast was busy but still fantastic and always well stocked. Egg station was excellent and omelettes were on point!! Short walk to restaurants and a 10 min bus (€2) into town or Uber is cheap and very quick. €7 into old town. Staff were amazing. I hope to be back to this hotel

Horrible staff in hotel. IMpolite, unfriendly and very rough. They took from us 240 euros without any earlier notices and even did not try to listen us while we were trying to understand the situation. Liares and nonfriendly. Never recommend anyone to visit this place

What a special and fantastic place. Everything was so clean. The staff were friendly and charismatic, stopping to chat about local attractions and how to get about. Nothing was too much trouble. The room we were allocated was beautiful and spacious. It had a mini bar fridge. Which was useful. Complimentary tea and coffee making bits and bobs. The food (half board) was extraordinary. There was so much choice at breakfast, (even a glass of sparkling wine if you wanted), cheeses galore, cold cuts, fruit and veg, Strange but nice sausages. The evening meals were also buffet style. All of the hot food was replenished frequently. The Lamb was mouthwatering and tender. There were plenty of veggie options too (if you’re into that sort of thing) There was a barbecue station two nights, and a pasta station on a couple of evenings. Yum!! There was no real beach to speak of, although there were handrails to allow you to plunge in from the rocky coastline. And a cordoned off area so that swimmers were safe. Multiple pools ( some of them sea water pools) A well appointed gym and spa. Altogether a luxury trip I was impressed The local transport network is impressive, 2euros to go all the way from Babin Kuk to the old town. Well worth the experience. The only downside I can see to any of it is…… Since the arrival of the euro, what used to be a relatively inexpensive holiday seems to have gone up exponentially. But that is no reflection of the quality of the hotel. In a word……..stunning
