Great location although 160 stairs from the sea up into the building. One in our party counted them. Super friendly and helpful owners. Once down the stairs the gate to Old Town is 100 yards or so and the Banje Beach is less than that. I would stay again.

A lovely studio villa in a family run complex. We arrived much later than anticipated however our lovely host was there waiting for us when we arrived. We had a large balcony with table and chairs with magnificent views of the water and old town Dubrovnik. Literally a 5 minute walk to the old town. Beautifully maintained gardens. Our hosts were extremely helpful and nothing was a problem. Would definitely stay at Villa Gloria again.

The property was very nice, there are gardens and grounds and a pool. The two sisters are so nice, very friendly and accommodating. I had been traveling for two weeks so asked about laundry service and they did my laundry for free. They also lent us sun screen because we couldn’t find any in town. The location is great as it is just a couple of minutes walking to the old town. It’s also a couple of minutes walk to the beach. The Villa is close to two markets and a bakery if you want to grab patisseries in the morning. They will provide you with towels to take to the beach too. The accommodations are simple, not fancy, but clean. We had a nice terrace outside of our room, we could enjoy coffee or breakfast there. And there was a rack for drying wet bathing suits or towels. The street is really an alley of stairs from the top of the road to the road at the bottom by the beach and Old Town Gate. Villa Gloria is located about halfway between the top and the bottom. So you get dropped at the top and you have to take your luggage down about 80 steps to find Villa Gloria. Since it is in the middle, you walk down the steps to go to the Old Town and then have to climb back up the steps to get back. So you have to be prepared to climb the stairs. Also be prepared to pay for your room in cash, they do not accept credit cards. You can pay in the local currency or Euros.

We had villa 3 , which is the same Level as the entrance hallway , we were greeted by Ophelia on our arrival who was very welcoming. This place was a little dated but nevertheless super clean. What we loved about this place was the tranquility that it gives you from the hustle and bustle of the busy city , it was just perfect and I would highly recommend it , I would Not hesitate to rebook if I decide to return to Dubrovnik

Recently, my boyfriend and I stayed in Villa Gloria, Dubrovnik. My bf booked true b.com double room with sea view balcony and they didn’t take the payment straight away, he phoned b.com Custumer servises why they are not taking the payment and they said he have to pay cash to the owner on arrival. When we reached Villa Gloria just before midnight owner came out and showed our apartment, he opened the door and I saw unexpected roof flat with open plan tiny launch, dining room & kitchen, then we went to see the bedroom and that was totally wrong TWIN bedroom, my boyfriend was fuming and very upset about it. I try to calm him down I said let’s see the balcony and that was the only place it was nice because of the view. I wouldn’t recommend this villa to anyone as it’s not the right thing as written in tripadvisor or b.com. Bathroom was so small and shower sims to made for midgets not for normal people, walls and selling also made for midgets, I hit my head several times and had bad headaches after that, you cannot turn around I was bending and waking as didn’t want to hit my head all the time. Also do not use cash machines in Dubrovnik as the fees really high, better go to bank and draw money!
