Fantastic view of the city and the sea from the bedroom, very comfortable apartment with balcony, walking distance to the historical center of Dubrovnik, local liquor free to sample in the room, private free parking - it was just what we needed. A gift of a bottle of the owner family's wine went beyond our expectations. All of the above for a really decent price.

The family were friendly and check-in was quick and easy. They even give you a bottle of their wine! The apartment is modern, very spacious, has all the amenities needed and also a large balcony. The air conditioning is strong and cools the place down quickly. The location is good but be prepared that although it is located only about 10-15 minute walk from the old town, it’s about 400 stairs away. That’s 400 easy steps down and 400 steps back up. Honestly though, it’s not that bad and the steps themselves are shallow. An Uber or taxi is only a few euros if you find the steps too difficult. Be careful if arriving by car because if you drive past then you can’t turn around straight away. There is a gate that they need to open for you so call when you are there or a couple minutes away. I’d recommend to leave the car and walk most places, otherwise you need someone to open the gate when you want to come and go. There is a shop just down the road that is open until around 9pm. There are plenty of restaurants outside of the old town that are easily reached as well. We didn’t use the pool or spend much time but there was a nice outdoor space. This is a great choice if you are driving and don’t mind a short walk to attractions!

Friendly family-run apartments, helpful and welcoming. Clean modern apartment close to the old city. We were only staying one night, if we go back we'd go for a bigger apartment with views over the city but the 2-bed studio was perfect. Large bedrooms, one en-suite and a separate bathroom too. Lovely lounge/kitchen/diner, good WiFi, big TV, comfy sofa and beds. Great instructions made it easy to find when driving into the city, parking available if you book ahead. Many steps down into the city, but the free bottle of lovely homemade red wine help you recover from the trip back up :o)

We had a lovely stay, on arrival we were given a bottle of home made red wine and then shown to our apartment. We had number 3, the one at the back with nice side views over Dubrovnik, there was a public terrace oustide for use as well. The windows are very sound proof from the road so we got a good night sleep. Bed was comfortable and Wi-fi worked well. The room was clean and very well equipped with plates, cutlery and a microwave etc the family who live on site were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. They also organised a transfer to the airport for us at short notice. There are a huge amount of steps down to and up from the town so this should be taken into account on booking - I am not fit but managed these fine. It would be much harder in higher temperatures (it was 24 degrees for us) so I suggest taking a bus in this instance. The stairs up from the Pile gate are easiest (and less steep) and there are a few places along the way to sit and catch your breath if needed. We were very happy with the booking and would recommend to family and friends

Great family run apartments. Clean and modern and added bonus of parking. They gave you a lovely bottle of homemade red wine and had homemade liquors in the apartment to try. The views over the old town were wonderful. Next time I'd go for a full top floor apartment over the studio.
