Really nicely appointed room. Outstanding breakfast. Located right behind the opera stage within the old palace walls so easy to walk to many attractions and restaurants. Super friendly and helpful service - they met us to help us park our car and take our luggage. Would definitely recommend this place!

From the second we stepped off the ferry, we were met by, not one, but two of nicest staff who insisted on carrying our bags to this 7 room hotel. Think top level Swiss hoteling, and that's what you'll see here. The location was insane - literally in the courtyard of Diocletian's palace. Lovely room, coffee brought to us within minutes and the sweetest, loveliest staff ever. While not inexpensive, one of our best hotel stays anywhere we've been in the world.

Location and history can’t be beat. All of the staff were friendly and courteous. We stayed three nights in the junior suite. The room itself was large, the bed was comfortable and the decor was tasteful. I found the AC to be subpar for the hot summer weather. When we arrived it wasn’t even turned on and the bathroom window was open letting in more heat. The only other note for this room would be the shower. You have to step up quite high over a bathtub to get in the shower. I could see this being an issue for some. The hotel helped us to book an island tour, there were several points of miscommunication that slightly impacted the beginning of our tour so this should be corrected for further visitors. Overall, great stay and we wouldn’t choose another hotel in Split.

Beware of Hotel Vestibul Palace. Last year we transferred a one-night booking to this year, because of a cruise covid cancellation. This year, the cruise was cancelled again, but the hotel would not transfer the booking to next year.

Stayed for 2 nights on a recent solo trip to Croatia. The location is fabulous for sightseeing around Old Town. Everything is walking distance. The hotel staff goes above and beyond on service. From meeting at the car and carrying your bag to your room, to printing out documents needed, to serving a great breakfast (included in your stay). The hotel was extremely clean and modern. The staff was amazing. You can’t go wrong booking at this hotel!
