#14 of 287 B&Bs / Inns in Split
Salvezani apartments are located in the very heart of Diocletian's palace, on Dominisova street. This part of the city housed people who lived and worked in the city of Split. Most houses on Dominisova street had workshops and warehouses on ground floor, with living quarters above. House at Dominisova 10/12 was built in the 16th century for exactly that purpose. Many original features were preserved during the restoration and all three apartments were intentionally designed around those features. They are wonderfully rustic, yet with all the 21st century mod cons. Access to apartments 1 and 2 is via a small courtyard and up 2 flights of stairs. Both are split level, and take up the second floor and attic space of the house. Apartment 3 is accessed via a separate entrance, up one flight of stairs. It is on a single level, and takes up the first floor of the house.

The apartment is wonderful and cozy with nice energy. The combination between stone walls and modern details really makes a place feel super relaxing and nice. The location of the apartment is perfect because everything is so close. I hope to stay here again soon. :)

We loved everything about this cozy place. The historic stone walls and the attention to little details in the apartment are beautiful. The location is also amazing, in the old center but quiet and peaceful. I hope I'll get the chance to come to stay here again!

Wonderful, located in the centre of the Diocletian’s palace and just minutes away from the Riviera and the cathedral of st. Duje! We stayed in apartment number two in a beautiful stone house. There was an array of cafes, restaurants and bars in the close proximity of the apartment which was lovely! The apartment was beautifully decorated with elements of the old fashioned brick and wooden details combined with some contemporary twists. Irina was a caring and lovely host.

This is special piece of heaven. It is an 400yrs old stone built house inside the walls of Diocletian's palace in Split (built for the Roman emperor Diocletian sometimes on the turn of the 4th century). Breathtaking place and beautiful energy. Thank you.

Split is beautiful but of course very busy these days. We loved staying in the old town in these loved apartments. Historical restoration is appreciated by us & all the information that our host gave us. On our last day we had Peka in a delightful village & visited Trogir & returned by bus - all very relaxing; Also Brac Is was very nice for a day. There are really suburb restaurants all around this apartment - try Nostromo (fish market by day, restaurant by night). Great cappuccino at Galleria, & Pina Coladas in the night. Thank you Irina you are a wonderful host & ambassador for your home 🏠 🌻🌻🌻
