Detailed Reviews
Modern, spacious, comfortable rooms. Small refrigerator in the room with two bottles of water per day (or you can drink tap), and space to store a few of your own cans/snacks. Bathroom in my room had large walk in shower (no tub, which I prefer) with awesome water pressure and a little shelf for your shampoo and soap. Thank you, Marriott!!! I hate having to put toiletries on the shower floor. Rooftop pool is really nice. I was there in late February and water was perfect temperature to get right in but still feel refreshed. There are about 6 loungers and a few chairs. Not a huge space. Bar was open while I was there. No pool towels provided. Very short walk to el Carmen metro stop. Several small shops around and a full grocery store just a few minutes walk. Several coffee places nearby. No noise from other guests or street. No strange lights in the room to keep you awake, just one little red light from the TV.

We stayed for a week seeing all there is to see in Panama City. This location was a very convenient spot for the sights we wanted to see around town. We took Ubers and most rides were under $5 to the attraction. At night we walked to a variety of good restaurants that were within a quarter mile of the hotel. The staff was friendly and we also enjoyed going to their bar area for small bites and drinks. The room was a little noisy at times when people were directly above us - but otherwise quiet from outside traffic noise. The hotel provided 2 bottles of water each day - which we took with us during the day. The tap water was also safe to drink.

The best thing of the hotel is its location, close to Via España, main street of Panama City, 5 minutes walk to Panama's state of the art metro station. Also very close to shopping area and restaurants from pricey to very affordable. Got a comfortable room in the 12th floor. Reception personnel was very friendly and helpful. Room maid service was also outstanding. The rooftop pool and gym were two good amenities which I used frequently during my one-week stay. The only minor cons were: The placement of liquid soap and shampoo in the shower was awkward (too high up to easily pump out the contents) I pointed this out to the room supervisor. Also the restaurant personnel were not very well trained, not uncourteous but rather inattentive and distracted. The breakfast buffet and dinner menu were not the greatest. However, as mentioned there are plenty of eating places in the immediate surroundings so this was not a problem. I would stay again in the hotel on my trip to Panama.

+1
I’m really impressed with the experience at this hotel. The property is attractive, and what you wouldn’t expect is just how great the kitchen is. There’s no room service, but the AC Kitchen has such a great selection of food options that you will want to stop by.
Fish tacos had far too many onions, but a terrific pineapple sauce.
What they called chicken mignon was more like chicken wrapped with bacon. But, it was still delicious. Served with a thick wine sauce.
The grilled chicken sandwich is solid, but the baguette really elevates it.
We had both the salmon and the bass, and both were good, though overcooked. Next time, I’ll as for them to not be cooked for so long. The risotto and the mashed potatoes are good, too.
Everything we ate here was good, and fairly inexpensive. This is a great fallback if you decide to stay close to the room for the day.
The location of the hotel is decent: it’s very close to a casino, and a variety of restaurants and shops, but my wife was concerned about walking around there at night.
The beds are firm, and the pillows are lumpy, so pack a pillow.
The TV is fantastic: maybe 100 channels, including premium channels (HBO, Cinemax) and multiple sports channels, most in English.
While more expensive hotels may be in a better part of town, you are a very cheap Uber ride away from just about anywhere (seriously…it was no more than $5 to get around). Well worth a return visit.

This hotel definitely met our expectations, my husband and I were celebrating my 45th birthday; it was our first time visiting Panama. We booked the 2 story loft suite, it was the perfect amount of space for a weeks stay. The 2 full bathrooms were great along with the work station and den area downstairs. The view was amazing, it was nice having the gym and rooftop pool on the 14th floor right down the hall from our room. The staff was very nice, they helped my husband with finding someone to decorate our room all while keeping it a surprise from me. Lastly, you don’t need a car, there are tons of restaurants within walking distance, the subway is around the corner and UBER rides across town range from $2-$4. It was a perfect stay, we had a blast! You won’t be disappointed if you decide to stay here.

Stay at the hotel for 6nights 7days in this stay the service the first day we arrive was great we then decided that instead of goin out to eat we would end in on nights worst mistake everrr the nxt two nights we had was horrible we then decided nope let’s go out and eat instead of spending our money here the waiter seems not interesting in nothing we was telling him from taking our order to getting us our drinks to getting our bill nothing he got correct and from there it went down hill….. staff attitude was horrible in the evening part , for breakfast the two ladies tht work was pleasant…. In my stay there two bags I bought was taken from the room with other things them thought was garbage went down stair to front desk to find out where them take the garbage cause them took up my bags the guy that was there seems lost, he then went to the supervisor told her she then went back where the garbage does go send back pictures with two garbage bags that was taken out the room but not the third one that contained the bags I bought … in all this I got the run around until the supervisor then tell me I have to wait until the general manager comes in the next day…. I waited until the next day went down stairs to talk to the manger whom name is Andres Rodriguez we talk I give him the receipt of the cost of my bags he then told me ge would do an investigation and get bck to me by 3 o’clock the same day I waited and waited till 4 still nothing I then went back to find out what’s goin on front guest give me a form to filled out what happened that I did , Andres then came down stair tell me I would be refunded my money r they can give me a gift card to go back to the store I then told him I can’t get no gift card as I’m leaving early the next morning he them told me give him my bank information that I did he seems polite and acted as if he was goin to help he also give me his email I msg him a day after he said the money was goin to be on which it never get put on I’ve email him after he told me they have an issue with bank he them told me he’s working on it …. We stayed two times over our trip to Panama. Both times they were fantastic about accommodating us - holding our luggage, permitting late checkout when our flight was delayed. Rooms were clean and comfy and the rooftop pool was surprisingly gorgeous. Well worth the money.

Nice small hotel in one of the busiest areas of Panamá City. Not great luxury but enough to please you.
Rooms are well appointed and enough for a regular stay. The hotel is well kept. Very clean.
The rate is acceptable for the area and hotel category. Breakfast is a bit more expensive but there are plenty of restaurants around where you can get a better breakfast for a lower cost.
Special accolades to the rooftop bar and pool. Happy hour 5-9 and a nice DJ Friday and Saturday.
The only minus were a slow check in and check out processes.

Not what I excepted for a AC Marriott. I requested a city view, what I received was a view of a back of a building. The room I would rate a 1 or 2. First time I had a room with no bathroom doors. If I was traveling alone there would not be a problem but it should have been stated because I would have stayed somewhere else. The breakfast or so called breakfast is more of a you would expect in a Low end hotel. Very disappointing. The staff was very very first class. Now if you are a single guy this is a great place. There is a place 50 feet away which has over 100 girls to pick up each night.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 10 days in August 2021. He was here on business and was booked here by his company, so my expectation was that it would be a typical business hotel. Instead, we had a beautiful stay in what felt like home away from home!
Highlights are, first and foremost, the staff! We encountered such lovely and professional staff throughout the stay - nothing was too much trouble, and they went out of their way at every opportunity to make our visit great. Secondly, the rooftop pool is beautiful and usually not crowded at all - I spent many hours lounging by the pool enjoying the skyline and reading my book. Thirdly, the food at the hotel is great and reasonably priced, as are the drinks (try the picante mojito, it’s excellent!). Finally, the rooms are lovely, large and maintained beautifully. All in all, it was a great stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

6-11 when I was there
We did not have free shuttle. We used Uber which wasn’t too expensive. It probably took us about 25-30 minutes to get to the airport.
