Detailed Reviews
I stayed at the Sheraton Zagreb in October 2020. I was so impressed with how friendly the staff was and how they worked hard to accommodate guests. The reception was a breeze, my room was spacious and comfortable, and the front desk even allowed me to have a late checkout. The staff's coronavirus precautions were also top-notch. All employees wore masks, breakfast was ordered from the table and delivered to the table, all seating areas were 2 meters apart, and rooms were only cleaned every 3 days. I felt completely safe. Oh! And the gym was amazing! Treadmills, ellipticals, weights, medicine balls! I honestly cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay! I would return in a heartbeat!

Luxurious hotel in the city centre. Just 5 mins away from the central train station (Glavni Kolodvor), 10 mins away from central bus station (Autobusni Kolodvor) & 15 mins away from the main square (Trg bana Jelačića). Fast check-in and i appreciate that they let us early before the official check in time. Good amenities as usual. Hotel is just few steps away from a tram stop (Sheraton) which you can use to reach the train station & main square, but the kiosk opposite the hotel was closed all the time so we had to walk to another kiosk to buy tickets. Only negative point i can give is the security deposit, while i can understand why it's being imposed, i wasn't ready for the amount that was about to be charged. It came as complete surprise to us. Other than that, this is one of the best hotels you can go for in the city of Zagreb

Dear Sivapc, Many thanks for the great review. I'm delighted we deliverred on your expectations, and that you thoroughly enjoyed your stay @ the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel. It's unfortunate the deposit was a negative takeaway for you. Guarantee policies are global. Guest are offered to have their credit cards preauthorized, or if they prefer they can leave a cash deposit in the same amount. In any event, I hope I'll have the pleasure of welcoming you back soon. Take care of yourself. Sincerely, Mario

The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from city main square, tram stops around corner, cost 4 kuna for 30 minutes ride. We loved design of room, entrance and lobby and cafe - bar. Room was super clean and super quiet, we felt "like at home". Staff on reception was very helpful. We strongly recommend this hotel. Staff, location, design, services ...etc. were just perfect.

Bit disappointed with the Sheraton in Zagreb. Although the hotel itself is nice and check in was smooth and easy, I think this hotel has a lot of problems.
The rooms are OK if in need of some renovation. The aircon unit is old and makes a lot of noise. The biggest problem with the hotel seems to be that they have far too many guests for the size of the facilities. This means that the pool area is hugely overcrowded. Additionally it seems that a lot of the staff (with the exception of the cleaning staff who were great) don't really seem to care about things and you seem more of an inconvenience to them e.g. picking up towels at the pool was difficult and they don't give you a locker key meaning your stuff is at risk.
Worst of all is breakfast which must go down as one of the worst breakfasts I've had in any hotel. There is no system when you arrive which means it's a total free for all. You're told sit anywhere but there are no free tables at all and any empty tables are full of old dishes that have not been cleared. Getting food is a complete bun fight. They've run out of loads of things. Simple things aren't done right - no bowls or plates for example. Orange juice or apple juice nowhere to be seen. The food that is available feels like it's been sitting for ages ages hot food was so cold it was inedible.
This has been the case for 2 days running (Sunday and Monday morning breakfasts) so clearly isn't a one off. The whole thing needs addressing by hotel management.
Overall pretty disappointed in this hotel and it definitely isn't worth the money they're charging. I would recommend staying elsewhere.

Dear Matthew, on behalf of the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel I would like to pass on our sincerest regrets and apologies for the poor experience you had at our Hotel. We're extremely saddened to read that we missed to deliver the service in line with your expectations, especially regarding the breakfast, which includes serving delicious customized hot dishes as per guests' preferences along with the sumptuous buffet breakfast, so the breakfast menu is extensive in terms of offering. Feedback from guests to date has been phenomenal. Rest assured that I have discussed the issues actually caused by crowded breakfast you mentioned with my managers and I have taken measures to ensure that you do not experience the same inconvenience the next time you come stay with us, should you decide to give us another chance. Best regards from Sheraton Zagreb team!

This is a fantastic upscale hotel near the city centre! I stayed one night only, but will certainly return as my experience was simply perfect. As a Gold Bonvoy member, I was upgraded to an Executive room, which was very spacious, clean, quiet, tastefully decorated and looked brand new. Because of covid, minibar was empty, but everything could be ordered and the staff would bring it to your room.
Speaking of the staff, they are the best feature of this hotel! Every single member of the team, from the reception to the restaurant, is wonderful, polite, friendly. Genuinely lovely people! I felt welcome from the moment I arrived.
Again, due to covid-19, breakfast is a la carte and you have to order everything to be brought to the table, but the selection is great and the quality of the food excellent. And it's served by the nicest ladies in the city!
You can't go wrong with this hotel, especially now that it's so affordable. Highly recommended to everyone, both business and leisure travellers.

This is a fantastic hotel. I am a Marriott Platinum member (no executive lounge in this hotel but it's no problem) and have to say that this is arguably the best service I have ever received. Everyone across the board was just so polite and professional. The housekeeping staff were lovely, the staff at breakfast working hard to serve everyone because COVID-19 rules meant we could not serve ourselves from the buffet, the very kind gentlemen who served us in the Piano bar (which has nice music in the evenings), the concierge and the front desk. Amazingly consistent. Thank you Ines for helping with our complicated booking. Thank you Leon from the front desk and to Katarina from housekeeping who went above and beyond in bringing us water. There are many others whose names I forget but everyone seriously deserves praise. Unbelievably kind.
As a matter of logistics, the hotel is a 10 min ride from the airport via Uber, and 5 mins from the bus terminal which you can use to travel to other cities such as Split. Everything in Zagreb is walkable from the hotel. They also arrange PCR tests at the hotel itself which was one of the main reasons we came to Croatia for a holiday. It made the experience so much easier! We got our results back within 7 hours (took the test at 10am in the hotel, and results were emailed by 5pm). There is a small mall attached to the hotel if you exit, turn left, then turn left again (Mingle mall or something). It has a couple of shops, cinema and places to eat if you need something convenient.
Finally, the hotel serves really nice food!

Large hotel 20 minutes walk from the tourist spots. Impersonal and run of the mill service. Staff was professional and courteous but looked a bit fed up. There is only one restaurant open in the hotel and breakfast at 22 euros per head is quite expensive. There are no views from the hotel as it’s only 6 stories high and surrounded with buildings. The room was smallish but neat and clean with old style dark wood effect furniture. Limited room service menu although the tomato soup that we ordered was nice. A nice touch was a welcome plate of a couple of plumbs, some prunes and another item that I can’t remember what it was. Everyday cleaning was ok but the toilet never felt fresh. Bed was nice and comfortable with clean sheets and soft pillows. The only question is how clean were they inside the covers. A small corner of the quilt that was visible was not very clean. TV was small and channels were the usual. As it was not a smart TV you could not connect to any streaming services. Only one person could you use the bathroom at a time when brushing teeth as it was very small. For 120 euros a night without breakfast this was expensive. There is also a small piano bar that serves nice cakes and drinks with modern and comfortable seating - worth a visit.

This is a beautiful hotel in the heart of Zagreb easily walkable to all tourist locations day or night (we are two female travelers and felt safe throughout all of Croatia!) Everyone was Helpful and kind. Jelena, our server, at the beautiful buffet breakfast even found me stevia for my cappuccino (which was the best tasting I had in Croatia) and they made me my veggie egg whites.
I am a platinum elite Lifetime so they upgraded me to a lovely suite and treated me wonderfully.

Stayed 2 nights in Sheraton Zagreb, which is a rather central hotel within 10 mins walking distance to the main square. This hotel is under renovation now. Rooms are of a decent large size but look dated now. Love the use of large body gel and shampoo dispensers, which eleminate small plastic bottles. Enjoyed the mattress and pillow / bedding which are extremely comfortable, and I had a room with a large picture window with natural lighting, abdwhich can be opened a small crack which lets in some cool air. Breakfast starts at 6:30am, and I suggest an early start, as there is not much seating in the hotel lobby, and this hotel is crowded. Front Desk folks are very friendly.

The hotel is at the heart of city 10 minutes walk to major attraction city centre and uptown with easy connectivity to elsewhere. The rooms are clean and tidy comfortable beds soft pillows, the amenities provided by the hotel is very good quality loved the bathroom slippers very comfortable and premium quality.
But say all the star of the show are the staff which work really hard are not only humble but also very helpful special shout-out to Snilja from the in-house dining to bring the amazing cheeseburger and Indian chicken. I am pretty sure her smile would have melted the cheese in such a perfect way.

I have no idea.Hotel can be contacted directly.
When I went was not noisy, the only bigger constraint was only 1 elevator was operating. I have no idea till when renovation is being done...
Good luck.
No, there was no fee or restrictions on use of the spa when we were there in the fall of 2022. It is a very nice spa with two different sauna and steam. We stayed for hours.
I stayed a few nights this month. The benefit I got as a Platinum was an upgrade to a great executive corner suite (but that is not guaranteed) and offered 1,000 points or breakfast. If you don't need the points, take the breakfast.
