New Basic Hotel, so properties in decent condition and clean. Stayed weekday and there was no food options available inhouse, kitchen availability reflects occupancy levels. Main Entry has very limited parking, the Larger Ground level parking is accessible via Gorrie Street / Suva Motor Inn Shortcut. Room itself was good had the basic amenities, but tv had no stations working and bathroom had a slight drainage issue. $20 room deposit and front office girls are really helpful. Would recommend

The first thing we met was a mouldy lift carpet. A tv on the wall but didn't work, holes in the towels,a very tiny room. Furniture in the room was out of a bad Bollywood movie, no under cover parking, as advertised. Loads of Construction going on in and around the entrance. Great breakfast though. We didn't even stay for the 3 nights we had prepaid for!!!!

We booked a 2 night stay, and reserved 3 rooms. The Showers didn’t drain so the entire bathroom flooded. The toilets were not clean and at times didn’t flush and the water would continue to run. All the rooms smelled like cheap cleaner and some like urine. Furniture / chairs were stained. The TV did not work. We had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. Oh and the towels - looked like they were rags, stained and had holes in them. I contacted Hotels.com and reported the issue. As per their response, the Property Manager refused to address issues or speak with Hotels.com staff or issue a refund as he didn’t speak English. I am pretty sure there are language translators available. What a rip off! This place was unhygienic and disgusting. Unless this is their standard ?!? Do not spend your money here. It was cringe.

Overall, good value for money given Fiji standards and pricing. All furniture seems relatively new in that faux-fancy Chinese style.
Location is great, staff are very friendly and helpful. AC, hot water and wifi all function well.
Would stay again!
