Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Nice location, cheap food compared to resorts but be prepared to wait up to 60-90 minutes (Fiji Time was often mentioned jokingly by our waiter. That was our experience anyway and wasn’t even busy. Guy on the floor was very personable which made up for average pizzas. The bases are not crispy like wood fire pizzas in other locations around Fiji (Mumma Mia’s and Resorts) but rather have a soft grainy texture. Ordered seafood pizza which was a let down but Margherita was much better. Hope pizza bases improve and waiting times improve as this place has a lot of potential.

I was staying up the road at the Outrigger and went out exploring down the beach one afternoon with some friends. We happened across this little pizza place on the beach with a happy hour that just happened to be the current time. We felt compelled to have a cold beer and listen to the surf crash over the reef. After a few beers, a 🍕 pizza sounded good. Boy am I glad we did, the pizza was superb, the view was beautiful and it cost less than half what was being charged up the road at the Outrigger. The staff was very nice and friendly. I just wish that I found this place sooner.

We stayed at the Outrigger and this place is 500 m. It is a1/4 of the price of out rigger. The pizza is amazing and happy hour is from 1600-1900. You can also ask to have tables across the road at the beach. They are so accommodating. They also have a menu that is non pizza. Menu a So,caters for kids. This place is fantastic. Out of 11 nights we dined here for 5

Staying at the Outrigger but this place is about 500 mtrs west. About a third the price of Outrigger pizza at Sundowner. We ate here three times during our stay with groups as large as 30. Sat outside across the road in the cool. Pizzas were all sensational. Beer cheap and staff great and accomodating. Recommend very highly.

We popped in walking past and had pizza and ice cream, as a late lunch, it's right across from the beach, great pizza, local prices, definitely will go back and have delivery to Outrigger ( 10 minutes walk), friendly service, pizza was from $14 FJD compared to $40 at resort, recommend

Would reccomend this place to friends who are looking for something simple and affordable. We stayed in the family self contained rooms which was just right for the 4 of us.It was big and clean.Only issue was that the swimming pool wasn't that clean so we did not use it.Pizzas was good too and reasonably priced. An advantage of this place is you can drink in the room and even invite a few friends over so I would highly reccomend it especially young travellers seeking to have adventure and some fun!

A friend and I stayed one night here and it was lovely. It’s great value! $85 FJD for one night. We paid $95 FJD as we wanted separate beds. We weren’t after anything fancy so this place was perfect! Lovely staff 🙂 The room was clean. The shower is over the bath, which was very slippery, so needs a handle on the wall and a non lip mat. Tea and sugar supplied. No coffee or milk. We enjoyed a drink and pizza downstairs. Wandered around the beach and the street, enjoyed a drink in another hotel. Didn’t swim in the pool, could have been a bit cleaner. The hammock was full of leaves so perhaps the guests prefer to be at the beach? Easy enough to tip a hen out! The grounds were tidy. Had our own internet on our phones so not sure how their wifi is. Didn’t see any fitness room, not that we wanted it! Caught the shuttle outside to Sigatoka. If you’re on a budget, this is the place! More $$$ to spend on treats! Gorgeous view from the balconies.

Went in to enquire about staying the night - price kept going up!!! After losing the will to live paid the money. Room was manky - doors didn't lock in the room. Plug sockets broken and the place generally looked dirty. Paid extra for air conditioning - only to find out the power get turned off at 11.30pm and finally came on at 5am. Got told the electricity got turned off by the supplier. All the other places seemed to be lit up!!! Avoid this dump and sleep on the beach.

Whilst we didn't opt to stay here, we stayed in a Resort further up the sunset strip. We did however drop in there for a few drinks. Then went back every day for drinks, quaint place and staff are absolutely like family.. Especially Losana, whom I keep in touch with.. Pizza's are also absolutely amazing, without a doubt the best in Fiji.. If you don't do anything else drop in for a pizza and a chat with the locals and watch the sights pass you by.. So relaxing.

The first room we got did not have water in the shower. We then moved to the room next door. This second room had no hot water. A staff told us that it was because the hotel was in renovation but we did not see any renovation works. A nightclub on site makes it difficult to rest peacefully.
