Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Paid for 2 nights, checked in around 6pm , upon arrival changed 4 rooms as all had defects. Very poor service, unprofessional staffs, rooms were looking very dirty, bed sheets were yellow stained. The place more looked like brothel than like hotel .Around 10pm same night had to leave the hotel. The way it's been advertised is all fake. Never recommend this to anyone. Upon check out was not even refunded. Not a decent place to stay at all. This is the worst hotel that I ever came across .

Checked in around 730pm & left to another hotel within 30 mins. Didn’t get a refund, just a $10 key deposit.

First red flag was our taxi driver. He made a joke about it being ‘dangerous’ & ‘you’ll survive the night’. Lol

It’s really fifthly, like disgusting. Broken key to the first room. Second room, the lock to the main door was broken, the receptionist assured no one can enter in without a key. The walls are yellow, same colour as the bed sheets. Bathroom is dirty , looked like someone used it. Sliding door was hard to lock & window was dirty. The curtains & bed sheets had stains on them. There were cockroaches. No air con, no air whatsoever. People partying next door. There’s a club upstairs. The smell in the room was so bad.

This place really needs to be shut down tbh.

Biggest regret was not reading the reviewshb on here first.

Pathetic... this is not even a hotel. Poor room service without wifi or electric jug, no remote for TV and the Air conditioning unit and blankets so filthy it seems it has not been washed in months. I do not recommend this place to anyone coming. At least if you are charging for all these services, provide something in return.

The Transit Hotel is very convenient for Nadi International Airport and can easily be walked in a few minutes. It is going through a renovation at present but the works do not cause any problems and the new rooms are very well appointed and comfortable. The staff were most accommodating and went the extra mile to help. My room had air-conditioning which made my stay very comfortable. The cost of the room is very reasonable. There are shops close by and the staff organised taxis for me. I would choose to stay here again. Thanks to all the staff for making me so welcome and for all the help so willingly given.

This place is horrible. Roaches in the rooms, mold everywhere and I can’t even articulate how communicable the bathrooms looked. Worst of all they offer no refunds. We were in our rooms for only 15 min and decided that they were too gross to stay in, and they refused to refund our money. Absolutely a horrible experience

This hotel is undergoing renovations and probably should be closed until this is completed. The main virtue is proximity to the airport - a 10 minute walk. The facilities tat are listed are largely unavailable right now - such as the pool. FJD150 is a big ask for a place in the condition it is in. Staff friendly though.

The lack of conveniences was notable from check in. ‘Sorry sir, your room has no wifi, no TV. Also there is no restaurant or telephone. In the room there’s a sheet on the bed, no blanket/cover, no hot water, full of ants, no cover on the ironing board but it didn’t matter as there was no iron either. One of the worst stays I’ve had in years. Giving it a one star rating as there is nothing lower.

Do not under any circumstances stay at this place. Nothing positive to say whatsoever, best part was checking out!
The rooms smell off chemical solvents and cause breathing problems and headaches, there is no non-syntheyltic bedding and only got a towel after asking twice. Noisy street sounds, ugly construction site in direct vacinity, reception even stiffed up my early reminder call an hr and half too early- thanks a lot!
Oh yes, and my dinner which took over an hr to make finally arrives (two fried chicken wings) such generosity -$10 worth of chicken pieces!
This place puts the hospitality industry to shame.
Stay anywhere else!!!

We were a walk in booking and they stuffed up our booking and the girl at reception wasn't apologetic and gave me and my husband attitude.

The Manager I'm happy to report was much nicer ask him for help he's very helpful.

We got the $75 room which is very compact, has a microwave and kettle.

I walked into the toilets and smelled urine, housekeeping came in and cleaned once more but the smell came back a day later realised the toilet brush smelled like piss. Housekeeping needs better management.

Not impressed walking into the hotel at 12am and seeing staff lying on the sofa or seeing staff members swimming.

Our last night there there were guests drinking at 2 am by 6am they were screaming and banging on the doors waking other guests up and then because our room is right beside the main walkway and reception our glass door was being banged by the drunks.

I literally had to walk out to the reception to complain to the receptionist who was sitting at the desk surfing Facebook on her phone while these drunks are screaming around her doing nothing.

Not secure parking, if the parking spaces are full you have to park by the empty field which has no lighting at night.

They have key cards for rooms so good security.

Like I said they need new and better trained staff.

After a terrible experience at another hotel that made me miss my flight to Apia. Mrs Varma gave me hope again about excellent service whilst on my first stopover visit in Fiji. This place was lovely and the staff were always willing to help. All this experienced in the several hours I stayed for $80NZD. I will definitely recommend to all my loved ones and friends. I had to fly back to Auckland to fly out to Apia to make a court case appearance on time. This hotel ensured I was woken up in time for my flight to Auckland. They were very well versed on the importance of making sure their guests did not miss their flights. I am very grateful for their service and they were very kind. I look forward to returning one day with my family.
