Stayed at Capricorn Hotel Nadi with my family for 3 nights and we were quite disappointed with our experience. We booked a family room and two deluxe rooms, and the first thing we noticed was that the bed covers did not seem to have been changed. The covers were wrinkled and had a strange odor, making us question if they had been used by previous guests. Additionally, the bed sheets in both deluxe rooms had tears on them, which was not a pleasant sight.

Another issue we encountered was the lack of towels in the rooms. We had to ask for towels, and even then they only provided us with one towel for a room with three guests. When we requested for the bedsheets to be changed, the staff at reception did not do so, despite our repeated requests.

Found the Indian girls at the reception to be unfriendly and unhelpful. Overall, the place seemed run down and in need of renovation. Our stay at Capricorn Hotel Nadi was disappointing and we would not recommend it to others.

Stay there for 2 nights nice breakfast lovely food . The FNB staff are very helpful . Upon check out the Lady was very rude to us (small indian lady) . She is like chasing us out of the room when checking out at 11am - We had a long night day before check out and we woke up a bit late the way she talked on the phone she needs a lot of training on customer service . I'm also a GSA in one of the 5 star hotels and I know how to handle things in FRONT DESK . The only thing to say is - she needs lots of training and lots of reading to improve and use better words when talking to Guests or handling guest issues on the desk.

The air-conditioning is of poor quality, I mentioned this to hotel staff they provided a fix of closing the window which did nothing to resolve the temperature and comfort of my stay. As I was part of a group booking and we stayed on our return back to the airport at the end of our trip we thought maybe our assigned room would be cooler next time, we'll yes it was cooler but the rooms had an unpleasant smell. My child stayed in a different room to me as he couldn't bear the smell with his sensory issues. However this was not isolated to my room, another party of our booking also had an unpleasant odor in their room more uncomfortable than my room, and a third party had found there was strong presence of mould in their room

DO NOT STAY! Worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life (and I happily stay at <$20/night backpacker hostels)
Negatives:
- the portable baby cot we were provided had a dangerous hole in it that a baby could stick a head or leg through. It was filthy dirty (see photos)
- Shower screen door broken + shower head broken and sprayed upwards. Floor flooded.
- TV broken (see photo) and no remote
- Hotel airport shuttle was 25mins late
- Lamp was mouldy and simply taped together (shows the genuine lack of care and cleanliness)
- The room just genuinely felt disgusting and dirty
- Another customer told us their bed sheets didn’t even fit the bed
- No complimentary wifi. The hotel charges $10Fijian (approx $7AUD/day for wifi)
- air-con remote broken
- hot tub broken/out of order for a long time
- Surrounded by a nightclub. Very loud at nights time

Positive:
- free breakfast included (simple cereal , bread and coffee)
- close to the airport and restaurants next door

Had 1 night here with my son. The room was clean, fresh linen on beds, bathroom with amenities, and friendly reception staff. TV didn't work but we were informed about it at check-in. WiFi cost FJD10 per phone, we knew about it, so it was not a problem for us. The pool looked nice and clean, will use it next time. Supermarket and restaurants next door and a free airport drop off, so we were satisfied with our stay here.

Where do I start, we organised airport transfer with the hotel before leaving Australia then when we arrived at the airport and waited 30 mins and no transfer so we called and they had no idea and sent a driver. After 1 hour he finally arrived, no baby seat even though I requested one.
Got to the hotel checked in
Double bed was two singles pushed together and very uncomfortable.
We had paid for the breakfast and when we when to have it all it was is toast with once choice of jam or wheat bix, fresh fruit pineapple and paw paw and juice or tea or coffee, very very basic for the price paid per person per day.
Every night there is two night clubs very close that play loud music all night long and guest that scream and yell all night. There are wild cats that are meowing all night long.
The place is a dump and would not recommend it to any one.
As for the pool and the photos on booking, they are of another hotel, there is no slide and no nice pool.
Only positive is there is a supermarket and some restaurants next door.
Spend some more money and stay at the islands as it’s well worth it. I wish we did.

Sometimes you just want a cheap and cheerful hotel when transiting from your resort holiday to the airport, but this is not it!!!!! External door to room didn't fit the frame so there was a gap you could basically see through; arm chair had a slit cushion with peeling vinyl and foam showing; TV didn't work; ants all over the bathroom sink; window only had one latch ... But wait tgere is more... loud base heavy music from a nearby club played till 3am!

Wifi was included in package but have to buy, very poor service,no hair dryer, beds not good enough, pillows too huge,no whitener,no spoons to make coffee or tea. Coffee and (poor quality) tea bags are available. When I asked for milk, reception said I have to buy from the super market. And also the reception mentioned that we are 3 star. It was to me like indicating why did you come here (I am addressing the hotel owner,)?
Some staff can explain clearly whilst other staff are not flexible and don't know customer service at all. Credit card payments cannot be done for any other services than room payment. This means else like, dinner, need to buy wifi etc cannot be added to room. If you have no cash you are in trouble. It is a very bad place.

This place is not worth for money paid at all and so it is up to you to decide if to stay there.

The outdoor garden area out the back is really pretty and well maintained. The accommodation is a tired motel close to the Nite Club district of Nadi. I have traveled across many developing countries and can live with older less than maintained accommodation, this wouldn’t usually be enough for me to leave a less than positive review. Some of the staff were either in bad moods or really don’t like their job and it came across in the way they interacted with us. Water pressure was a light trickle and the bathtub shower recess was in very poor condition. We could hear the music from the nearby nite clubs late into the night

There is zero standard and please take your own bedding as the sheets are not changed on most occasions and when confronted I was told that it is a 2 star hotel and don't expect any better. I was shown 3 rooms to move and none of the beds had clean sheets. Very poor attitude of staff and they simply don't care. No professionalism what so ever. Had to find another accommodation and no sorry or thank you exists. Will never stay they again.

Unfortunately I didn't find their shuttle service reliable. I ended up hiring a taxi. Try getting in touch with the property directly. Even when returning to the airport I ended up hiring a taxi that was parked in the property or I would be late for flight check-in.
