Room check-in & out was quick with no deposit required even though it was indicated as $50 on the check in form. Hotel grounds and initial room cleanliness indications seemed alright until I slept and woke up to Bed Bug bites. Couldn't continue sleeping as there were quite a lot of bed Bugs and left the property soon after. Other issues identified in the room were that there was no Aircon remote nor was there a Cable TV box remote so TV channels or room temperature couldn't be adjusted without calling reception. Hot water is believed to be solar so it wasn't working on my rainy week visit. Housekeeping is only done when you notify reception. Had other colleagues staying also and they didn't have a bed bug issue but had cleanliness and power socket issues. The only positive was its proximity to everything.

I recently stayed here on a solo trip. All staff were great and so friendly. My room was good and had a balcony that overlooked the pool and garden. WiFi is solid and had good connection in the room and on the balcony. Pool is great, but could definitely do with some seating around it. Location is fab, only a 2 minute walk to the local big supermarket and several restaurants, not to mention 4 or 5 nightclubs in the area that are great also,

Staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. There is a front desk attendant all night. All shopping us right down the street from the plaza. The hotel next door has the best spa and massage and all you cam eat buffet available. Amelia was great with helping us book all our amazing excursions. She is the best! Make sure to request her for asistance for booking all your excursions!

The receptionist on duty this Fiji day needs a good lesson in Fijian hospitality . Barely addresses and attends to you. Returned from Port Denarau at lunch and requested my room key after I requested to her to have my room cleaned up because of an infestation of bed bugs that night. . She continued to talk on the phone as I waited and when she did get off the phone, started to munch on her lunch, looked at me and then looked at another staffer to go and look for another maid that had my key. No apologies for the bed bugs, not much of a care and dismissive . A great location - but hopeless with the reknown FJ hospitality or just basic hotel/motel courtesy .

the room was awful! The hotel was gross. Door barely locked. Shower didn’t work /hot water not functional. Toilet was running didn’t work. Room was dirty. Curtains didn’t cover the window. I left and forfeited three nights stay. That was how bad it was. Manager never followed up.

This hotel had relatively nice pictures and a 3.5 star rating. We’ve stayed in plenty of 3 star hotels and hostels before, so we thought it would be fine. It was very unclean and did not provide the services advertised. We had the following problems: -No hot water, cold showers only -Dirty kettle that we didn’t feel we could use -Bad smell in the room, generally unclean -Only one roll of toilet paper and we had to go ask for more -The aircon could not be adjusted, it was set at a singular temp that was very cold, at times too cold -The keycard needed to be in the slot to make the PowerPoints work, however also turned the aircon on, so you could not have devices charging without the aircon on. This made for some cold nights. It was plugged into the ceiling and couldn’t be easily unplugged. -Three taxi drivers told us it was not safe to walk the street at night. And the worst part for us, we returned to our room to find the sliding and screen door wide open, indicating someone had been in our room. Luckily we always lock everything, and it appeared nothing had been touched. We asked reception who had no explanation as to why the door was open. We went to reception to book a taxi and four lots of people were complaining about the water, facilities etc. so it wasn’t just our room!! We didn’t feel safe here, so we booked other accommodation for some of our time in fiji.

I read the reviews of this hotel but decided to try it out anyway. I like to give places the benefit of the doubt and access it based on my own experiences. So after reading the reviews, i made a booking this month and arrived at the hotel with my own sense of positive expectation. That dissapeared when i checked in...after travelling in from overseas and being late night..it is what it is..ie too late to go elsewhere. The room was below what was being advertised.. tv not working, no toilet paper in toilet, no bathing soap (so you have to pack this with you) and an all might drinking party with music going on till morning...i have been to other 'basic' hotels cheaper than this but at least they had the essentials in the room. Bed sheet had stains and drapes need changing. So the question is..will i come again..the answer...No. Dissapointing Oasis.

Absolutely awful. We booked a week here for a chilled holiday and we are backpacking (just to empasise that we weren’t being snobby or looking for 5 star accommodation - and have also spent the last 10 weeks in Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam). It was over £200 for the week. We got there at night and we were shown to our room. It was a mattress on the floor, cockroaches everywhere, completely dirty and other people’s things were still there as well as in the bathroom. We went and told them and they gave us a second room full of massive cockroaches. We were shown a third and it was the best we could get there. It was still dirty but and nothing like the photos but we could just about deal as it was midnight. We slept there and in the morning attempted the ‘pool’ or pond should I say. It wasn’t cleaned at all and it was not a pool. Not usable, no sun beds. Ants everywhere. There was no one else staying here and we didn’t feel safe as it had a horrible creepy vibe. Some people lived there I think. Our door said make sure you lock your door; it has no locks. My friend walked to the shop and a woman who had lived there 5 years said do not ever walk up here under any circumstances it is so unsafe. This was the only road out of the property. Luckily we rang booking.com and explained and we got a full refund and we stayed in Mercure up the road which was much much much better and for near enough the same price. Thank god. DO NOT STAY HERE.

I booked this hotel because the recent reviews seem to suggest that this hotel condition has improved, and I wasnt willing to fork out more money to stay at the other hotels around Nadi that have equivalently bad reviews. The room itself is of decent size, with a sofa bed that provide more space to place items. However, my problem is with the linens used. I can see stains (many) on the sheets, and there are many dust marks as well, as if it wasnt washed properly. The tiles are easily marked by footprints. Bathroom is extremely small. There was barely any room to place the towel. Shower cubicle is even smaller, if you are a big size person, you definitely will have difficultied manouverinh your way in and out of the shower. Floors and surfaces were stained, evidence of insufficient cleaning. The only small soap holder in the shower was tilted and unable to hold any bottle. No toiletries provided except for two bars of soap. Towels are yellowish, and the foot mat looked like it had never been washed with detergent. Walls are thin, you can easily hear noises from rooms next door, the floor above you, and from outside your room. A lot of barking dogs from sunset onwards. There are window panels on top of the door, one glazed, and two clear panels. No curtains to cover and so it allowed lights from outside to shine in the room. Big issue for people who needs complete darkness to sleep. But my biggest issue is with security. Hotel gate seemed to be always open, and I barely saw any staff around. Our room block is right next to the gate, with our door facing the gate. It definitely does not feel secure. We saw a few prostitutes hanging at the start of the road before you turn to the hotel, and we suspected a few were at the hotel. It’s definitely the cheapest hotel in Nadi I could find with pretty good reviews, but after experiencing it myself, I dont think I will be coming back.
