Novotel Nadi is located at a 5 min drive from the airport. It costs FJD 8 by regular yellow taxi.

The hotel is set in a large area, with beautiful green lawns and flowers all around. Our checkin was smooth and quick, with friendly people at the reception.
Our room was spacious with a balcony looking out to the mountains and the greens. There was a red gulmohar tree, which added to the beautiful scene.

The room had a firm bed, a two seater sofa, a mini fridge, tea-coffee making facilities, a closed wardrobe and plenty of drawers with storage space, although the furniture seemed a little worn. The bathroom had a bathtub and the water pressure was sufficient in the shower.

Breakfast was a limited but sufficient spread. It gets quite crowded around 9.30-10 am, so it's a good idea to go there early. The staff had trouble refilling the food as fast as they were getting over, although they were trying their best. We must say that the staff was always smiling and ready to help.

Overall, a good comfortable stay, and recommended for a night or two.

If you are looking for a nice friendly fijian run hotel near the Nadi International Airport , Novotel Nadi is the place !!!!!!!!

Friendly fijian people made my stay most enjoyable , especialy those working at front desk and at the restaurant ;
The hotel overlooks the airport in the distance but is very quiet , set in a vast area of lanscapes gardens with numerous tropical trees and flowers ;
Designed with local standard this hotel is far from being a luxuary resort but ,if like me , you are looking for a memorable true fijian atmosphere hotel I recommend absolutely the NOVOTEL NADI ;
Some of the rooms are more spacious than others , some have terrace some have balcony , but in any case you will have a view ,
the view from my room was stunning !!!!
Cleaning can be sometimes very basic but you can allways ask the reception for anything you want to be done to make your stay more enjoyable and they will do all they can to make you satisfied.
Restaurant is nice and opened , the menu for lunch and diner is good and the food excellent but unfortunately the breakfast is very basic .

The swimming pool is of good size and most of the time quiet so I enjoyed it very much. There is a free shuttle bus from and to the airport at certain scheduled and for shopping Martintar is very closed to the hotel .

Thank you to all , keep smilling and Vinaka Vakalevu ! ! I might return ! !

Not the greatest of hotels from the Novotel group but certainly not the worst either.

The reception staff were warm and friendly on arrival. The staff all very chatty and pleasant to deal with .

Our room was clean and tidy but the bathroom was in much need of updating . Very tired and dirty looking. The vanity area appears to have been more recently renovated but that bath, toilet and shower could use some TLC.

The pool was great. Large and great for a cool off. We had to go to reception to request towels.....told they would bring some down to us.....this never happened despite waiting for more than an hour.

Dinner was a nice affair....choice of a la carte or the buffet.

The hotel was an 400m walk to a well stocked IGA. If you were planning on heading to a lesser euippped island resort or somewhere that may stock little gluten free food snacks/ options I would suggest the walk down there.

Courtesy bus collected us from the airport. Quite run down but did the job. Driver nice and chatty too.

The Novotel Nadi is a good hotel option for travelers looking for an airport stop off. It offers simple, yet comfortable rooms that are well-equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay.

One of the highlights of the hotel is the breakfast, which is consistently praised by guests for its delicious food and wide variety of options. Whether you prefer sweet or savory dishes, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

In addition to its excellent food, the Novotel Nadi also offers great value for money. Its rates are reasonable and competitive, making it an affordable choice for travelers on a budget.

One of the most convenient aspects of the hotel is its location. It is situated just 5 minutes away from the airport, making it easy for travelers to get to and from the hotel. This is particularly convenient for those who are only in town for a short period of time and want to maximize their stay.

Overall, the Novotel Nadi is a great choice for travelers looking for simple, comfortable accommodations, good food, and a reasonable price. Its convenient location near the airport makes it a popular choice among travelers visiting Nadi.

I was apprehensive when I booked here for 1 week with my family (2adults, 2teens)
I had read all the reviews, and the email booking took a few goes to get correct. We arrived with low expectations, prepared to make the most of our holiday.

On arrival we were warmly welcomed, checked in promptly and taken to our room. our room was a great size and had a queen middle, and two singles (one on each side) with still loads of space to walk between the beds and store luggage. Our view over the golf course to the mountains was beautiful, especially the sunrises.

The bathroom space was most adequate, and allowed for privacy when changing.

The grounds were lovely and well cared for (love the mango trees around the resort, yum), the pool was brilliant and so were all the loungers, day beds and hammocks. The restaurant staff were attentive, nothing was too much trouble, and they were always smiling and so welcoming, we enjoyed being able to read the local paper with breakfast. If you're hiring a car there's plenty of secure parking right by your room.

Of course there were some negatives, lighting in the rooms is very dim at night, the showers are older, the aircon too noisy to leave on when sleeping, the walls paper thin so when people checked out for early flights you also were awake, the dinner menu wasn't as good as the lunch, no activities hut or game room operating, lack of pool towels when needed, no coconuts on offer to drink or with breakfast, no hash browns all week for breakfast (hot chips were offered instead) No onsite DIY laundry

BUT!!!!!! None of things ruined our holiday, we still had a brilliant time and loved the staff who all worked very hard. For the price they charge compared to other places it's very much worth it.

We booked day trips every 2nd day and enjoyed the resort on days we stayed "home"

Check out the little shopping complex across the road, there's a great place called Grace Kitchen/Sunny Pizza, we really enjoyed dinners here when the resort didn't have a buffet night.

Overall, a great stay that I would recommend to others who want to have a comfortable base to explore Fiji from like we did, or for anyone who just needs a place to stay before or after a flight.

Thankyou team Novotel for a great experience

We booked this accommodation for one night prior to flying out of Nadi, and it was the perfect location for a convenient journey to the airport. It is still recovering from the COVID-19 shutdown, which impacted the spa, however regardless the staff were very welcoming and accommodating. The on-site restaurant offered a convenient (though limited) choice for a dinner meal though we would recommend a table inside (watch the frogs!)

Dear jessicarg1988, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback on your recent stay with us. In fact we officially re-opened for business on 01 April 2022, we now have three concessionaires operating at the hotel with the Spa scheduled to re-open by mid December 2022. As you had experienced, our staff are just great in what they do, showcasing the "True Fijian Hospitality" to all our guests. We have theme nights on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays with live entertainment. Tables are available inside the restaurant or on the terrace, no issues with frogs as these are Fijian toads, which seem very friendly as well. We hope your next stay will be much more pleasant than your previous stay. Kind Regards Jack Work General Manager Novotel Nadi

This hotel need to improve their service and quality of the room. They gave us a very low standard for a chain hotel. They can’t even get a hot shower working. No wonder the rest of the resort looked old and dusty. The food is expensive and not very tasty, the bed is not very comfortable and getting a pool towel from reception is an epic quest.

Not recommended to stay even for a transit!

I recently stayed at this hotel for one night before an international flight, and my overall experience was disappointing. The check-in process was smooth, but upon entering our room (806), we were greeted with a few unpleasant surprises.

Firstly, despite booking a deluxe room with two queen beds, we found that both beds were doubles. The room itself was dank, dark, and exceptionally dirty. The bathroom was small, pokey, and riddled with mold. The kitchenette's benchtop, which doubled as the bathroom sink, was covered in grime and hadn't been wiped down in a long time.

Adding to the dissatisfaction, the room was equipped with only two towels for our party of four. While the hotel offered free wifi, the speed was reminiscent of the dark ages. The complimentary breakfast was mediocre at best, lacking effort and variety.

Considering the hefty price tag of $400 for the night, I expected a much higher standard. Despite friendly staff and well-presented grounds, the hotel's overall cleanliness and attention to detail were severely lacking. It's clear that the hotel manager has allowed standards to slip, and the housekeeping desperately needs an overhaul.

Having stayed in numerous budget hotels and backpackers, I can confidently say that there are cleaner and more pleasant options available. I strongly advise against choosing this hotel for your stay; the overall experience does not align with the price paid.

We stayed one night as close to airport, which it is so a great option as we had a 5.30am pick up to get to Airport. We got there early so had wait till after 2pm to get room, then we had a power cut was all good as could buy drinks. We got to rooms then found out not what we paid for so had them swapped out, We went to the pool no towels and limited seats. Back at room no water due power cut, so no showers just had go eat. Food drinks service was great good food and staff, other staff could be more customer focused. House keeping staff good example of being nice and good to deal with. Air con in room so noisy had turn off even with ear plugs. The place is clean and gardens are great. A place for a short term stay would be fine.

The room had a smell like it had mold growing in the walls (probably due to the climate and AC turned up the whole way)-My wife caught a respiratory/sinus infection that wouldn't go away till we returned home. Carpet in the room was torn and it had furrows in it. Place needed a make over. Beautiful site on a hill overlooking a golf course and "sleeping Giant mountain" Breakfast was wholesome with lots of fruit! Staff was friendly but couldn't check us in when we first arrived because room wasn't ready.

Novotel say it's $5 from the airport to the hotel, but the taxi charge $10FJD Definitely make sure the hotel knows what time you will be arriving. Come with low expectations if you are in the standard rooms and hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised.

$10JF from airport to the hotel, and $5 back to the airport. But if you ask how much in front of another taxi driver, one will say a cheaper amount. :-p .
