I stayed for a few weeks at the hotel for work. The staff during my stay were very helpful, professional and friendly. I was allocated a room near the pool which gave me a short walk to use the restraunt, lobby, conference rooms and the restraunt. I appreciate the staff that worked on at the retraunt as they were friendly with their service and waiting time for meals were not too long, was very satisfactory. My room was cleaned regularly and new towels with soaps was dispensed when they serviced the room. My iron though kept short circuiting the power points in my room whenever i used it. Changing the hot iron helped solve the problem.

I stayed for one night in the hotel since I arrived late night in Nadi and my connecting flight was in the next day only. Rooms are spacious but a bit dated. There is little noise isolation and I could hear every sneeze and whispering from the neighboring room. However, overall I was satisfied in terms of value for money. The rate was OK, the hotel is close to the airport (5 min by taxi) and the rooms are clean. The shower and bathroom is upgraded. The breakfast buffet is good. Only complaint: there is no drinking water in the room. I arrived 1 am and found no water in the room which was very inconvenient. There was also no shuttle back to the airport during my departure (despite a schedule displayed in the reception that said otherwise) and I needed to take a taxi (FJD 10$ only). OK place for a night.

While okay for an overnight room before an early morning flight, the hotel is quite old and a little tired. It is very clean and well maintained but the facilities are very limited. The meals are 2 star so if you are expecting a good meal the dinner options are limited and basic. They had a band playing loudly until 10pm which reverberated through the room and meant no sleep until they stop - so with a 5am start that was not appreciated. Breakfast at 6am was fine - and the staff are (as always in Fiji) just incredibly friendly.

On arrival on a hot humid day we saw the foyer, dining areas and bar were open air and not air conditioned. Went to our room it was terribly hot and air conditioning did not work, also no towels in the bathroom. Complained twice to reception before maintenance man arrives to fiddle with AC and tells me it doesn’t work. I tell reception saying I want new room or refund, shown to what they said was an upgraded room (looked same as last one) it has working AC although noisy. The bed was terrible and pillows well past it so bad nights sleep. Went to breakfast at 6am opening time and told enjoy your breakfast, opened up hot food lids and no food also no breads or anything else was put out so nothing to ‘enjoy’. We left laughing at how bad this place was. Give this place a miss!

Meanwhile our hotel accommodation rooms have a central cooling system however we are very mindful of the temperature outside has been humid more than usual. Accommodation - We stayed two times at this hotel and found this as an ideal transit and a short relaxing hotel. It is only about 5 minutes’ drive away from the Airport, Nadi City and shops. We stayed in suite rooms both times and second time it was “Mokosoi Suite”. It was kind of a small apartment. Had lots of space. King Bed was superb. Interior decoration was excellent. Radiant colours, unique furniture and Brass handles and fittings combination makes a vibrant look for this gorgeous suite. Balcony is ideal for a relaxing tea in the evening.
Main Bathroom is massive and it has brass handles and fittings which gives a royal appearance to this suite. a shower cubicle, jacuzzi, 01 toilet, 02 vanities, and this comes with full set of amenities. Restaurant and food- Main Restaurant offers a full Buffet for breakfast and alar Carte menu for other meals. There are 2 other restaurants. Fresh Pizza and a Japanese
Restaurant. Room Service food was delicious. They provide packeted Breakfast in early morning from 04.00am to make sure guests get their meals before they leave to catch the flight.
Pool – We didn’t use. It's right next to the restaurant.
Airport Shuttles – Most importantly, they provide complimentary shuttle service to and from Airport. Shuttle is Just a phone call away and a new Van with carriage.

I arrived very early in the day, and the staff very hospitably arranged for my room to be ready as soon as possible, and let me use wifi. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a little noisy music from the bar area at night. There is a lovely pool, not large, but it's Fiji, so it doesn't need to be large. There is a lovely rock waterfall there.

When I first planned my birthday trip to Fiji, I contemplated between two hotels, Novotel or Tanoa International and I am so happy and thankful I picked “Tanoa International Hotel” to stay at during my holiday in Fiji.
The staff were friendly, welcoming and looked after us well. They reminded me so much of my people (Samoa) they treated us like we were family and the customer service was 10/10!
We stayed at Tanoa for 7nights and I’m happy that we picked this particular hotel for the duration of my stay. The facilities were spectacular and clean, the food options at the restaurant were fantastic (especially the desserts) and the breakfast buffet that was on offer every morning was amazing.
Their swimming pools were under renovation when we arrived, however that never became an issue as they offered us an alternative of using the swimming pools at their other sister hotels (Tanoa Skylodge & Tanoa Apartments).
I would like to do a special shout out to all of the staff that really took care of us, made sure we had everything we needed during our stay, recommended lots of places to visit, booked us transportation when we needed it and organised tours for us to do.
Special thank you to the Front Office staff Ilisapeci (Queen), Una, Tui, Suli, Inia (Semisi). Also the Food and Beverage staff Tevita (Tracy) and Kuini.
Thank you Tanoa International Hotel for an awesome hospitality and great service.

Don't choose this facility for quarantine if you can. Don't believe in Tanoa's promises to make your stay "safe and smooth" because they simply don't care about you. 10 days into my mandatory quarantine and it has been a horrible experience. The service will deteriorate after a couple of days - it will take you several calls to reach the annoyed receptionist and another day or two for them to bring clean bedsheets, towels and toiletries. Kitchen is awful. Deep fried, oily and not always fresh food. Total disappointment :( Run down facility, don't be surprised to find cockroaches in your room.
You can do better, Tanoa. Shame!

Tanoa International is an airport hotel that is poorly connected to the airport!!!! Even though Tanoa International is less than 1.5km from Nadi airport, the hotel can only manage to run a shuttle bus in either direction ONCE AN HOUR. I waited nearly 45 minutes on arrival at Nadi for the 1.5km transfer to their hotel (I could have walked in that amount of time!). Then, upon arrival and speaking to the Duty Manager (Doreen) I was reassured that I would have a smoother, more convenient experience when returning to the airport on their shuttle bus. That promise was then corrected (changed) when I was subsequently called and advised that I had two shuttle bus options, each an hour apart for returning to the airport. If you are a transit passenger DO NOT stay here. I literally watched 3-4 of their competitor's shuttle buses go by, as Tanoa International did their laid back, once an hour shuttle bus schedule (for a less than 1.5km distance). If you have oddles and oddles of spare time (or time to waste), maybe Tanoa International is perfect for you.

Rest assured that we have taken positive steps to avoid a similar experience. The Hotel has successfully negotiated with the Fiji Airports a more visible location to collect all our hotel house guests from arriving flights. one hotel staff member is located at the arrivals during peak periods to meet clients. The Hotel Courtesy transfers have a schedule that is readily available at the Hotel Reception Desk. The schedule is made to connect to all the domestic and international flights departing Nadi and arriving to Nadi. We request all hotel guests booked and arriving to Nadi Airport to provide us their flight details to anticipate their arrivals. We also encourage hotel house guests to contact hotel reception to book their departing courtesy transfer to avoid any disappointment. The hotel team will be your best guide to advice on peak traffic periods and help you connect to your flights on time. We have dedicated transfers to and from the Airport. This is a great hotel to stay at for a quick airport stay. The resort has a nice pool, comfortable rooms and 3 restaurants . It has beautifully maintained grounds that give it a feel that you are not 5 minutes from the airport! For a small fee they let us have late check out until 6 pm. Which was awesome being our flight left so late! Highly recommend if you need a stay near the airport!

I have many reviews on Trip Advisor, if your above comments are directed at me. I have stayed at Tanoa International almost every time we have been to Fiji on arrival and departure so I know the hotel very well. Would have stayed there at least a dozen times. The wing we stayed in was below standard, had bugs in it and had a nasty metallic smell. The newer wing was comfortable and clean but it has been several years since I stayed in those rooms.
Email the property your flight details before arriving. However, the shuttle is usually waiting at the shuttle bus bay at the end of the arrival building.
There are more places to choose from in the Nadi area.
