We stayed one night since our flight arrived in the afternoon and there was no longer a ferry to the Yasawa Islands, so we chose a hotel close to the ferry. The hotel is very basic, with simple rooms, but the bathroom was in poor condition, with walls missing tiles, dirty and a loose toilet. The staff barely smiles and serves just enough. Wifi only at reception very slow. It has a small swimming pool. It has a very basic restaurant, it took us a while to serve and we had to repeat the order several times because they did not have the food, which was not of quality. It is true that the price per night is very low, but the quality in general could improve. I do not recommend it.

This hotel has only been in business for 6 months and therefore offers very competitive rates with regard for what you get. The rooms are well-equipped with aircon, comfy beds, a modern bathroom, kettle & complimentary coffee/tea. There is a pool and nice lounge area around. The restaurant offers some simple dishes (chicken chow mein, cicken drumsticks & fries and similar) for FJ$15-18. The staff is still a bit inexperienced but quite friendly and full of smiles. Breakfast is ‘british’ and costs $15 (toast, beans, eggs, toast, yoghurt, fruit). What was missing is a concierge/receptionist who knows about means and prices of transportation, somebody who could give advice. A few things still need to be mended but overall it’s very good value for money.

We stayed with my friends for 4 nights in Fantasy Hotel. We had a very good experience, very friendly staff! The bed was really comfortable and the aircon worked perfectly. The day we arrived we had a complimentary early check in which was great. We also had complimentary airport transfers. The food was good and not expensive, and you get bottled water for free (since you can't drink tap water). Breakfast is not included but it only costs FJD 10.- and it's quite filing - although the coffee isn't great. Unfortunately there was no wifi reception in the rooms - only in the reception area, and it wasn't very fast. Having a pool was amazing, but the pool area needs a little bit of maintenance. The hotel is being refurbished so I think it will be much better with time. Overall the experience was very good, made better by the nice people :) Vinaka!

Fancy Nadi motel was our second accommodation. Did not like it one bit, but unfortunately we have paid for it. The photos posted on booking.com were misleading! My husband and I did not have a great experience, a big disappointment and it ruined our holiday. Apart from friendly staff and beautiful garden, everything else was bad. As soon as we climbed the stairs, they were dirty and smelly, the aircon in the room was weak, no wifi available in rooms, the tub in the bathroom was wobbly and have stains everywhere! The pool was dirty with murky water! Lucky we moved out to a nice resort.

You get what you pay for value wise. Do not expect luxury just smiles and facilities on Fiji time.
Think it has changed hands recently
Solid comfortable bed, Big towels clean sheets,
If it has been raining expect lots of residual water to add to the fun.

We stayed at the Fiji fantasy hotel for two nights, the hotel is still very new and has very modern rooms. The location is very central and only a few minutes taxi to Nadi town or Denarau. Macdonald’s is a $2.50 taxi fare away. Friendly staff and the owner is very accommodating. The bed is very comfortable, perfect for a good night sleep.

No towel or toilet paper until I asked for it. Room was clean but bathroom needed work. Food was average. Staff seemed very uninformed. No existent walkways, (be careful at night ) and it’s a long way from anywhere. A/c works well , thank god, Pool is small, but did not use it as water looked sketchy

This is obviously a budget hotel but don’t let that put you off. It is cheap because it is a bit remote. It is a cheap taxi ride to town or the airport. I walked easily to Queens road where McDonalds is and got the bus for $1 fjd. You won’t get anything as good as this on a budget near the airport. Comfy bed. A/C works well. Kettle and shower works which was all I needed. Some of the other hotels for this price had really bad reviews. I stayed here one night when I arrived and one night when I departed. Would stay here again. When you go down Fantasy Rd, just look for a white two story building on the right down a small dirt road off Fantasy Rd. It’s now called Fantasy hotel. That was a bit confusing.

Please don’t stay here and waste your money. Stay on wailoaloa beach instead. Pictures look nothing. No running water on the day of arrival. More importantly animal abuse is taking place in view of the hotel; 2 dogs tied up all day and night behind the hotel without food or water, whimpering throughout the night. When I told the hotel they were unperturbed. We took it upon ourselves to alert the local animal rescue centres. We checked out 2 days early. No apologies and no offer for a refund. Avoid for your trip, please.

Cozy, but a little out of the way hotel. The staff were super nice and service minded. The rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast on site was ok. Unfortunately the pool was not cleaned and maintained otherwise this hotel would have been a great base for Nadi
