Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Rating is 1. Very bad rooms. Air con does not work yet they give remote at reception. The fan blade in the centre of room is so close that you can get chopped if not careful. Room is so dull and has no life in it. Suggest not to stay in this hotel to avoid ruining your holiday and mind

So bad we left after checking in, rooms were bad, pool was cloudy and looked unsafe to use. Photos online look way better than it looks in person. We were desperate for a room as other places were booked out but we still couldn’t stay here, just not good.

Even though it’s called the “International Hotel” its the dirtiest hotel I have stayed in. My family and checked in on 21/1/24 and we were greeted by a stubborn supervisor Mereoni, who discriminated us because we were locals. While entering you get a strong cigarette smoke smell. Because it was pretty late when we checked in, we had no option but to stay at the hotel. Though we were 4 there were only 2 towels and 2 blankets provided. (family room) . we had to wait for an hour before the room was “supposed to be cleaned “ The room had -lots of cockroaches in the bathroom. - No ventilation in the bathroom (No window or extractor fan) leaving the bathroom misty after taking a shower and leaving it smelly after using the loo. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. -Fan switches had no turning Knob. -the utensils and Toasters were extremely dirty -Fridges were dirty The bathroom had black Molds -Toilets have brown stains. We did notify the cleaning staff but they said it is how it is and no other rooms are available. though we could see other rooms well vacant and available at that time. I have honestly never been anywhere and met such rude staff. I highly recommend not to go there if you are a local. It is nowhere an “international hotel “standard.

Stay away. Should of trusted all the reviews on here. Room was infested with bed bugs and I'm covered in rashes and scratching non stop. Staff changed my room and that's it. The hotel is run down and extremely old. No maintenance has been done to the place. Air con did work okay and they had hot showers. Would not return and would not recommend.

Staff are friendly and it's pretty central to the shops and getting into Nadi town and Port Denarau. WiFi is not accessible to guests, only for the use of office staff. 24/7 reception is handy especially with early or late flights. You get what you pay for.

Was put up in this place (hard to call it a hotel) by Air Fiji due to missed connection caused by flight delays. Room was absolutely terrible. Hotel and rooms old and run down, no towels were supplied in room and had to wait hours in middle of night to get any. No bottled water but thankfully there was a kettle which was able to use to boil some drinking water. I only give 2 stars as the food in the restaurant at lunch was surprisingly decent . Pretty disappointing from Air Fiji to put their customers up in such a place.

Filthy, dirty towels and sheets . Just a horror movie accomodation. The walls were stained, there was previous guests dirty shoes in the room. The fridge gas made a banging noise every few minutes. Definitely not safe for toddlers as there are exposed gas piping and just utter filth

Due to power outages by the cyclone, I booked the hotel as i have previously stayed here and had no issues. 1. The check in Staff was clearly incompetent. It took him over 30 mins to check the guests before me. 2. He was also rude and racist from his behaviour. There was no apology for the wait. His attitude also changed between serving the forgein guests and myself. I had arrived at 1030pm wearing just a shorts and t-shirt carrying powercables and chargers as all i needed to do was charge my devices to be able to join. Whilst i used my passport as an id for checkin, I am not a resident Fijian however was treated the same way such staff treat locals. 3. Demanded i pay a 50fjd deposit otherwise he would not issue keys despite my booking showing the deposit amount as 30fjd which i did try to show him but unsuccessful. 4. The room given was very dirty and had blood in the cistern and mould in the bathroom. (Attached photos for evidence). 5. New Room spelt musty/sweaty and so I asked the night porter to supply some air freshener or moping detergent to remove the smell to which he initially replied very rudely that he can't smell anything and then later that they have no cleaning products available. 6. The hotel rooms need Maintainance esp the deluxe poolside rooms which they advertise as premium rooms. Broken power sockets. Stained walls etc. The hotel pre covid used to be an excellent choice however it has been allowed to be rundown and the staff having no customer care skills. Whilst waiting for checkin, several calls were made to request for bath towels/toiletries. The front office staff refuses to provide email of hotel manager and tried to give the email uses by him.

This Hotel is nothing like the photos on their website. Its a very tired, run down slightly grubby establishement that is not worth 2 stars let alone 3 In its day it would have been a lovely hotel but that was around 1970 . nothing looks like its been updated since . The bathrooms need gutting as the tiles in and around shower and toilet are old broken and covered in mildew and grime. We unexpectly ended up here as we were in transit when our on going flight was cancelled and this was teh only place with any vacanies for a family of 6. We had two, two bedroomed apartments ,600 and 612 The apartments were large and roomy but very tired, dark and not very clean .the beds were OK but with only a sheet and no blanket .so quite chilly . we did get a blanket the next morning and staff were apologetic . There are 3 pools but only one was clean enough to swim in ,the dinning room / Bar is dark and uninviting though the staff were friendly . There was NO Wifi and NO internet avaliable for guest to acess ,as we were waiting for the airline to contact us regarding our on going flight we had to go next door to the Mecure Hotel and ask if we could conect to their WIFI My advice Dont stay here unless, like us you are stranded in Nadi with no other accomodation available. Price for our family of 6 's two night stay $1000.00 FJ . Value for money 0
