We spent almost three weeks in this hotel over the past six weeks - first for business and then as a base for traveling in Chile and Argentina. It is not a luxury hotel but it is a terrific place to stay. The location could not be more convenient - steps from the Metro, across the street from the park, and within blocks of dozens of restaurants. My husband ran every morning and we walked for miles enjoying the scenery and the many tourist attractions. The staff was incredible - helpful, professional and friendly. They arranged for taxis, took care of getting our laundry done, provided maps and welcomed us warmly from a short walk or from a return from a longer travel. We were able to leave some of our suitcases at the hotel in between our stays knowing they would be secure. I highly recommend the Hotel Principal Express. It is an incredible value and a delightful place to stay.

The location of the hotel was close to the public transport and the staff was very helpul and friendly.
Breakfast was available in the package and definitely was value for money.

The staff at the Pricipado went above and beyond.
The room was basic but clean and comfortable.
Breakfast had a good offering of hot, cold, pastries, fruit, etc.
Other reviews complained of being by a bus stop, but I was facing it and heard nothing through the double paned windows.
Very much recommend!

This is a basic hotel...nothing fancy but it does the job. Its in a great position with lots of places to eat all around. Its just across the road to the restuarant area. The metro is very close. The rooms are basic but clean and neat. The bed comfortable. The staff were very helpful when I had to locate a lost back pack. The breakfast is basic. The pastries were very average. For us, its a bed for the night...nothing more. Would I return...yes.

This nice Hotel is in the centre of Santiago de Chile; it presents friendly and efficient staff, modern structure and clean room, breakfast very good. Close to the Hotel it is possible to find many bars, restaurants and shopping options. Very good value for money.

I spent 4 days in this hotel, situated in an excellent position, at the junction of Santiago City centre and Providencia, in front of the parque forestal and of the Rio Mapocho, very close to the University of Chile Law faculty. Idael to visit the city.
The room I got - with window towards the parque forestal - was ok: clean, rather quiet, despite the road and comfortable. The desk was a little bit small, so when i had to work it was not the top of confort. The rest was ok. Breakfast reasonably good.
Only one - after all small inconvenient - the light smell of food at the groundfloor and in the lift. Price reasonable

The staff was nice and very helpful. The location is excellent, in the center, near a metro station. All the main touristic attractions are in a walking distance. The noise proofing of windows or walls are insufficient. Some of the room have "no view" practically.Somewhat low value for money.

Clean and confortable with very kind staff. Excellent location to reach all the places of interest in the city. Very close to the Moneda palace and the Bella Vista district. Easy to reach by public transport.
