We were brought to this hotel by our taxi driver after we found that the one we were booked into "Crowne Plaza" Santiago was wrecked , abandoned and covered in graffiti on our arrival on 4th Jan. 2020.. The receptionist, who saw the state of shock we were in after our experience at the Crowne Plaza, could not have been nicer. We were booked into a lovely room which has AC and all the other comforts one expects in a hotel nowadays. She also assisted, even though I had no Spanish, in helping me to contact my travel agent in Dublin Ireland to make onward travel arrangements. The courtesy and assistance we received from all members of staff on this occasion went above and beyond what one normally expects.

We had been on a cruise, which due to bad weather, couldn’t dock at San Antonio but had to travel up the coast to Valparaiso, so because of the late arrival we missed our flight home. A taxi driver at the airport recommended this hotel, as previous reviews state its a quirky south American hotel, but with everything you need, air con ect. Breakfast was fine, a continental but plenty, fruit, yogurt, cheese, ham, toast, buns. Plus they made a good mug of tea!! After 2 weeks on a cruise where they gave you luke warm weak tea, it was very welcome cup of tea. Also a roof top pool too. Very centrally located. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Would recommend this hotel.

Very dated decor and facilities, but in a great location for city centre / Belles Artes. Breakfast supplied in a takeaway box the day before and really should be refrigerated! Small rooms, but with decent bed. Wi-Fi dropped out a few times which was annoying.

The location is perfect, walking distance to so many of the city center's attractions. The room was quaint (charming older furnishings) and very quiet. And reasonably priced. We did, however, pay 1/2 tariff to be able to have a late checkout as we had a late evening flight. We particularly appreciated all the exceptional help we received from Cecelia in reception. She helped us manuever through some local hiccups as well as recommending great new neighborhoods and bars and restaurants that we were unfamiliar, even after visiting 3 times previously. She is incredibly customer focused.

I had justo arrived to Santiago with no hotel reservation, so hesitantly I enquired with a taxi driver, whom insisted this was a very good place. All his accolades where nothing but an understatement, the place is nice, clean, comfortable, quiet, walking distance to the center of this exciting city and all for only seventy US dollars a night. The people are polite and courteous and the price includes breakfast!

I got here after loosing a plane following the suggestion of a taxi d driver and therefore i can blame it Orly on myself. The hotel occupies two floors in a tall building and these two floors were carved out of only one floor by adding an intermediari ceiling. Result: of Youth are a smurf you can fit in.
My room 120D ways a little larger than a coffin with a bathroom smal even for snowwhite standards.
People at the reception do not speak any foreign language and are very unfriendly. Maids are effective and the rooms are clean even though when i entered Myanmar room it smelled lime and old ashtray. The place in theory forbids smoking in the rooms but,in practice, guests do what the want. Worse Ethan anything the attitudine towards money. Sinceramente i. Walter to pay cash to ne rid of an excess of chilean pesos, i Felt treated like a criminal... i head to pay every day in advance and twice, after i woke up late i found my electronic key deactivated....
You want to know more? Since the reception is at the second floor but the elevator takes you to the third anyone can enter and oscurità Island incredibily low. One night at 3am i woke up to the screams of a n old lady begging for money in the corridor.

We arrived at Airport and went up to a booth that said Hotel Reservations. A Taxi driver approched us telling us he had a good Hotel for us. Right away I was skepticle, he seemed too pushy for my taste. The Hotel was $79 a night for double and the only other Hotel we found cheaper was the Foresta and after seeing the pictures I defineteley was not staying there. The Foresta was a real dump. We took a chance and went to to the Victoria. At first glance I was not sure. The lobby is on the second floor of a tall office building, and the lobby was kind of small. We looked at a room and it was clean and quite roomy. We decided to stay for the two nights. The Hotel is in a great location walking distance to everything downtown. Lots of people walking around at night and many more during the day. I have never seen so many hotel employees cleaning they were wiping the walls, wiping the furniture moping the floors at all times of day and night. There is a safe in the room and I recomend you use it and leave all of your jewelery (My wifes chain was pulled off of her neck out on the streets. I was worried about the safe at first so I left half of my money the first day. After the chain incident we left all of our valuables. I have to cathch a plene and do not have time to write more. Check out is at 12:00pm but allowed until 1:00pm and they keep your luggae in a locked room until you need. Very friendly and polite personell.

We enjoyed our stay in March 2007 at this clean and efficient hotel. The set-up is a little weird as the hotel only has 2 storeys within the 17 storey building. The lobby is 1 storey up. But otherwise, a good economical choice with a good breakfast and clean rooms. Nice staff. Close to cultural centre and Cerro St. Lucia. There is a swimming pool on the roof.

They also own a fantastic restaurant around the corner with authentic local food.

My first visit to South America. Taxi at airport recommended when I said about $70 near central area of attractions. Great reception staff, high care and attention to detail by staff and in rooms.
Free wi-fi. Breakfast I thought was quite fine (included). I think I heard it was owned by a few women - and they have the whole staff motivated to keep it sharp. Location - excellent - central to lots of the stuff you want to see in Santiago. Plaza de Armas, museums, Santa Lucia mountain and other tourist magnets all walking distance. Felt quite safe too - I am told Santiago is low-crime for the most part - seemed to be true, obviously use precautions as anywhere. The metro subway just 1/2 block away.

This was a third time we stayed here. I love the location. I love the staff. They are kind & helpful. Clean clean clean. Free wifi. Soft plush towels. Soap is even wonderful. It was hot and room a/c not as strong as I like it but I certainly was comfortable. Slept like a baby. Steps away from subway and Plaza de Armas and all sidewalk & store shopping. Great restaurants. Superb food. Delicious wines, but of course. Great people. Everything runs tickety boo. I hope I haven't ruined a good thing for myself.
